Damp smelling room, paper thin walls, moldy bathroom. I could literally hear the person in the room above peeing in the night, it sounded like a group of people were having a door slamming competition opposite oh and how could I forget the heavy snorer in the adjacent room. Coupled with a spring in my back this was the worst night sleep I've had, fortunately I was only staying for one night as Dinard was slightly closer to the ferry port, next time I'l sacrifice a bit of sleep and stay in Dinan!

We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel, and as we have stayed in many small French hotels over the years knew what to expect: an oddly shaped room, strange décor and a small bathroom. That's what we got. However the room was clean, with a very comfortable bed and fresh sheets every day. Why stay here? The hotel is located in a great area, St. Enogat, 2 minutes from a lovely sandy beach. Right outside the front of the hotel is a little open space with a fountain and pretty flowers. There are a few places to eat and 2 bread shops to buy things for a pic-nic. (avoid if on a diet....wonderful cakes!). It's only about 10 minutes to stroll down to Dinard via a well-lit quiet street, or 20 minutes along the walk-way over the rocks. Also the girls in reception get 10 out of 10- friendly and helpful. It counts for a lot that when there was a fire in the night at a near-by shop, and the hotel alarms went off, they roused all the guests, evacuated the hotel and checked via the manifest that we were all safe. I would stay there again because of all that is to offer round the hotel.

we stayed inroom 32 , in the roof , ex servant quarters , the stairs up to it are dangerous , steep and narrow , the room was so small and pokey , the bath room unusable for all but the smallest , it was clean however.. more than can be said for the second floor carpet , it stuck to your shoes , room smelt of cigarettes no a/c no internet, and so noisy till 3 o clock, we accept this is not the hotels fault , but not good .would recommend dinard , and bistro across road , the rest was terrible , but worse.. may be the other rooms are better, they would need to be, we feel as if we have been ripped of ..

This is my most favourite hotel in all France. Small, quaint and with some romantic rooms, friendly staff and comfy beds. Its in the heart of the old village quarter of Saint Enogat nr Dinard with a few cafe's, restaurants and bars in the vacinity to cater for most pockets. Its a moments walk from the sea with miles of sandy beeches, rockpools, coves etc and walks through the Edwardian resorts which help to make this coast so appealing. The views from the shoreline are the spectacular archipeligo around St Malo and a ferry service takes foot passengers to town for a modest price. We've stayed here twice and loved it both times. Its only 20 mins from the St Malo Ferry terminal so its ideal for a quiet night before sailing home. A gem indeed! Everything is spotlessly clean and the hotel is quiet and excellent value for money. Parking in the adjacent streets is easy to find. There is no lift. Enjoy it!

We only stayed here for one night but wished we had remained longer. The hotel is just a few steps from a wonderful beach in a beautiful area of Dinard. The room (actually apartment) was clean and comfortable. Rather a tricky staircase to the first floor bedrooms but all part of the fun.
