Maybe the rooms and hotel isn't as fancy as the price would suggest. But the location makes up for it! When you walk into to the lobby and see the falls behind the glass, it is wonderful. The rooms are clean, well cared for, the staff is super helpful. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety of all kinds of delicious food. The town is far away and the hotel is pretty much your only food option. But it is all worth it for the quiet half hour in the morning when you have the national park to yourself before the visitors arrive in the first train from the bottom. In the morning we could see the toucans flying through the air from our balcony. At night you can hear the roar of the falls and you feel the heavy darkness of the semi-tropical darkness around you. It was expensive, but so worth it for an amazing experience to treasure!

The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Directions and maps to the upper and lower trails could be more clear, and driving there from the park entrance was not well marked. Even considering where it is, it's too expensive. Still, for visitors to the falls, this is THE place to stay.

Beautiful setting, wonderful time, the Sheraton was very accommodating.

Great location inside Iguazu Falls park. Fantastic view of falls from room.

The hotel was wonderful. The location is spectacular. The staff is wonderful and helpful. It was just terrific to stay in that hotel. I would recommend it without any reservations. Thanks

No air conditioning in a he room. Room smells and clothes do not get dry.

Great location. The view of the falls is spectacular. You can walk form the hotel to the falls. Biggest problem was the pool was closed. Not sure if it was under construction. I would stay there again and recommend to friends.

If you can afford it a MUST if you are visiting the falls. It cannot be emphasized enough how great it is to stay right at the falls and be the first ones in the park before it opens to the public in the morning. This was my second stay and even after a lackluster 1st stay I have recommended it to everyone I talk to about travelling to Iguaszu and just stayed there again myself with friends. The biggest downside is that it's got a lot of mold and mildew issues owing to the extreme humidity of the location and the high price. Room décor is ok and the balconies overlooking the falls are a very nice plus. If its your first time spring the extra $50 or so for a falls view room. You cant look at them enough!

Rooms ok amenities ok food just ok. Location is everything for this hotel

When we first arrived in our room the door was not able to open due to a piece of the ceiling falling down it toom about 30 min for someone to come and fix it, then we discovered the safe was not working, another 30 min wait. The hotel is outdated and dirty, the staff is rude and slow, the food is disgusting, rotten fruit and vegetables at breakfast buffet. Waiting over an hour for overpriced dinners to come out and they were cold due to the fact they were sitting in kitchen not brought out by incompetent staff. I would not stay here while location is great, you can walk onto the falls the hotel is way overpriced and not at all worth the convenience, stay somewhere else and get shuttle to park.

After reading several reviews about this hotel, we weren't expecting to be overwhelmed. But we were blown away with the location, the staff, our room and the amenities! Everyone took excellent care of us and were so pleasant and helpful. Our room on the 3rd floor waterfall side had a breathtaking view, bathrobes, more toiletries than any of the Marriott hotels that we normally stay at. Granted we did pay more than we normally do on vacation but the location made it well worth it. Our only issue was the cost of the transfer from the airport which we expected to have been included in the cost but otherwise no complaints. This was a once in the lifetime trip to Iguazu Fall and we ended up having an even better adventure than we expected.

Best location for the park. Wake up to see falls from balcony. Breakfast was good. Dinner could be better since it's one of the only options near the hotel

The hotel condition is ok, but a bit worn and dated. In addition, there are some maintenance issues that need attention. There were wet carpets in a hallway from air conditioning leakage. We also experienced water on the slick tile floor in our room, resulting from condensation from the air conditioner in the ceiling. We also had a growing leak from the base of the toilet. Others in our tour had a repeatedly malfunctioning toilet.

This is an OK hotel. You're essentially paying for the location and convenience in relation to the Falls. However, for the price, I think you should really be blown away by the hotel itself, which I was not. The facilities are starting to appear run-down, with sort of a shabby appearance from outside, and an overall stale feeling to the inside. Beds were comfy, but not impressive, as was the bathroom. Food was also overpriced, and some of the dishes we had were poorly prepared (including the rizotto, which tasted as if it were out of a box, and the lamb, which was undercooked). The staff were very helpful and friendly, which was a saving grace.

Great location. Lobby backdrop is fabulous view of falls. Can walk to falls. Good buffet breakfast. Very nice pool. Meals somewhat pricey given isolated location.

The Sheraton Iguazu has come into its years on one hand (and it would need a revamp soon), but on the other hand there is no better place to stay for seeing the falls, as you stay in the park itself. And you have the chance to see the falls when the others have left or not have arrived yet. The rooms are okay, nothing crazy, the breakfast buffet is big and contains a lot of variety. Take rooms with falls view by any means.

The grounds were marvelous with easy access to the trails along the falls. The evening dinner of the chef's native surubi fish was delicious. I recommend! However, the food at the sports (snack) bar was bland, limited in menu items and below the quality of what a Sheraton should be. Personnel were all most helpful and very friendly. Waiter staff was excellent and attentive. A negative note: the pina colada at the sports bar was very small, had no alcohol to taste and was far too expensive for the lack of quality...$9.50! The morning buffet breakfast was A+. Rooms need a bit of redecorating -- a bit tattered in places (wallpaper, windows.) However, overall -- strongly recommend.

The best reason to stay in this hotel it to be in the park of Iguazu Falls. We had a room with a view to the falls, and it was spectacular, though very expensive.

A very comfortable modern hotel. It is the place to stay for anyone who wants to visit Iguazu Falls. It is the only hotel in the national park. A short walk from the Falls, half of the rooms have balconies with a nice view of the Falls. The price is high for Argentina, and the food is priced at American, not Argentine levels, but it is high quality. Iguazu Falls are spectacular, and this is a must hotel for a visit there: highly recommended. (Note that the outdoor pool looks very nice, but was under repair and emptied during my visit.)

Grate location, nice people, exelent service, bad restaurant - too expensive for this quality of food. No conveniance store or alternative restaurants on premices.
