Rustic Roost - A Spectacular Bed & Breakfast - 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4
A visit to our Bed & Breakfast is the perfect way to escape your rut, routine and really relax. Come here, rest... rejuvenate ... enjoy nature and all that the great outdoors has to offer, without doing anything. You'll be served a gourmet breakfast each morning, go play all day, and then decide which of the local eateries to experience in the evening. There are several restaurants near by to chose from and the options just keep growing. We can accommodate 4 comfortably with some overflow capability to handle 6. Downstairs is a spacious, private room with a full bath. It includes a King size bed, TV sitting area, and breakfast table. We also offer a private room upstairs with an adjacent bath, queen size bed. The common, shared areas of the cabin include the kitchen, dining room, living room, large comfortable porch and the walkways and gardens of this beautiful property. We live here too and are on the property, but stay in a totally separate section of the cabin, you won't know we are here until breakfast. If you need us for anything, just ring the cow bell on the porch. The Rustic Roost is located a few minutes from Lake Broken Bow and the Beavers Bend State Park in Southeast Oklahoma. We are pet friendly. Provide breakfast and any assistance you need in planning your stay. Fire pit available (we can build it or you can) and hot tub that works well as a cold tub too, are included in this relaxed, quiet, secluded paradise. Enjoy our gardens, our mountain and our forest. Every comfort is provided to ensure guests have the very best experience and come back to see us. We are best suited for 2 couples; friends or family enjoying quality time. Our cabin will allow you to be together or totally separate if you'd like the space. The covered porch is everyone’s favorite place to hangout. Guests may choose to stay there all day. We do have high speed wireless internet and Direct TV but that is not what you come here for. The lake is picturesque offering boating, fishing, swimming, golfing, hiking, and biking for Spring, Summer and Fall fun. The river offers the same appeal with trout fishing and kayaking. Winter provides hunting, fishing, hiking, ATV’s and a totally different way of seeing the naked forest.
