We stayed for 3 nights as a special treat at the end of a weeks holiday with our family. We were expecting great things but were very disappointed. our bathroom was smaller than the one we had had in a much cheaper appartment the first week and the hairdryer and the mini fridge were not working .the buffet was very poor quality and extremely busy .We had to have a row to get dinner at both the a la carte restaurants, apparently you are only entitled to one per week!! you are required to wear horrid wristbands even though everyone is fully inclusive. The all inc red wine was very poor and even when we paid the wine was very poor quality. Our hottub broke on our second day and was still not repaired when we left the next day despite repeated requests. the only saving grace was the restaurant staff who were friendly and helpful. We would definitely not go back again and think the hotel was very poor value for money.
Hotel was just as we,d imagined. We had a great room with seaview. Comfortable bed, nice toiletries, gown slippers. Tea and coffee in room is a welcome touch. Food, service and staff all first rate. Only downside was freezing cold pool! I did force myself to do a few lengths daily but was mostly alone! Would definitely return.
The hotel is set in a beautiful location which is surpassed by the hotel and staff, we was greeted at reception to smiles and even though we arrived 4hrs before check-in the receptionist made the arrangements for our room to be ready early and this really set the tone for the week. All the staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and always had smiles on their faces. Special thanks go to Nacho and Alessia who really made our week!! The food was always nice and well cooked, we ate in the Mediterranean restaurant one night which was very good! Drinks were always available and the bar staff always friendly and ensuring all were enjoying themselves. There was plenty of sun loungers and we enjoyed a swim in the sea which was surprisingly warm for the end of October. The next opportunity of child free holiday this place goes straight to the top of the list!
Lovely hotel, friendly staff and great evening entertainment. Food variety was fantastic. Alessa was a very friendly and helpful activity organiser. The reception staff were also fantastic and helpful! Thanks for a lovely stay !
It seems to me that some reviewers of the Palladium have reviewed a completely different place. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Food: wonderful variety and good quality. (Except the breakfast ‘British Sausages’ but there again I’ve never had decent one from a Spanish hotel). I especially appreciated the pool-bar food – I’ve never seen anything like this. Room (112): Yes it is small, but considering I only used it for sleeping then who cares? The private and spacious patio, whirlpool and sunbeds were fantastic – which is where I did spend most of my time. The cleaning lady was a real treasure. Entertainment: Something on every night and was pitched just right for an adults only hotel. Lots more during the day if you fancied it. Staff: Very cheerful, polite and professional. Drinks and food service was faultless. I had four problems during my first day: 1. The room key-card did not work and was replaced by the staff in 2 minutes. 2. The kettle smelt and tasted of cleaning agent. The cleaning lady replaced it immediately. 3. The room air-conditioning did not work. I informed reception just before dinner and expected it to be fixed the next day. It was up and running when we returned to our room that same evening. 4. The electrics on the whirlpool were duff. Once again this was fixed inside 10 minutes. The manager of this hotel is obviously first-rate and I hope he appreciates that his staff make it the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Will I return? I’ve already booked for May 2018.
From the moment we arrived the hotel felt good. We arrive at 21.45 and instead of the normal fuss about checking in we were sent immediately to the restaurant to have some dinner. Have finished returned to reception all the process had been completed off to our room. Had not booked a sea view but had one of the bay and town which made probably for a more interesting view. Probably a bit noisy in the height of summer but October perfect. The hotel was very clean a tidy even though was shutting for the winter at the weekend never felt it was being left and even the gardens were still being tended. Entertainment was laid on each evening some was god some not so. The food was plentiful and mainly well cooked at any time during service. There was several cooked while you wait options which were good. Would we stay here again YES
We are here as a bit of winter sun before the winter really sets in at home. The hotel is probably less than half full so plenty of space and sun loungers available. The food has been very good and the choices as usual in all inclusive varied. We visited both the ‘special ‘ restaurants, Mediterranean, I had the lobster and it was worth the extra, the Japanese was less impressive and only worth it for a change from the buffet. Drinks were good and plentiful. The sun decks looking over the bay were great but very stony so painful to walk on, this is probably the only moan! The pool was colder than the sea and no one used it! 5 minute walk to the beach which is soft sand and very sheltered. Ferry across the bay which goes to all the tourists destinations. Entertainment no better or worse than anywhere else. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Another great holiday at this beautiful Hotel. ALL of the staff are happy which helps make a great atmosphere. Everyone really helpful but special thanks to Baber (Show Chef), Aleissa (Entertainment) and Roberto (Waiter - Buffet Restaurant). Looking to return.
We booked for short 4 night break in October and were delighted with our choice of Cala Llonga in Ibiza. The Palladium is a very well appointed hotel with wonderful views of the cove and a relaxed atmosphere. Our plan was to have a total relax and hopefully some sunshine and we were not disappointed. Unusually for us we spent the entire four days relaxing either by the pool on one of the number of sunbathing terraces or on the lovely sandy beach a five minute walk from the hotel. We booked an all inclusive package with Thompson and were completely happy with the flights and hotel. The only point which made the holiday less than excellent was the food which we felt was below the standard of this hotel. The meals were mostly unimaginative and had a poor choice for vegetarians. Even the salads which I usually enjoy so much in Spain were mediocre with very little choice. The staff were very helpful in the hotel in general even although they must have been tired at the end of the long season ( the hotel was closing at the end of October ). The only exception was a rather abrasive buffet restaurant manager lady who warned me in no uncertain terms to be more careful on our first evening when my sandal slipped on the floor tiles and my partner had to catch me. The young waiting staff seemed to be rather stressed too. In contrast the reception staff could not have been more helpful particularly a gentleman who printed out our flight confirmation which we had stupidly mislaid. Rooms were clean and well appointed ( we booked a sea view but I believe that most rooms have some view of the sea). All in all a lovely hotel with very pleasant staff.
There's so many good things about the hotel, and a couple of not so good things. One thing that can't be helped is the position of the sun as the mornings are in the shade. The staff, well I can't fault them. Nacho is probably the best hotel entertainment chap I've seen! Full of excitement whatever he does. Whoop whoop!! Nice and chilled of a day, just what you want. Food is fantastic of a meal time. Always a good selection. However it's let down by the left overs from breakfast and lunch served as the snack bar offerings when the hotel across the bay will cook from fresh anything on the menu. The rooms are clean, stylish and comfy. But when we asked about a late checkout, now bear in mind that the room won't be used until next year as we check out on the Friday 27/10 and it shuts on the Sunday 29/10, we were told that it'd be €70 when it's advertised at a lower price in the lift within the hotel. So hardly an inconvenience!! The reason apparently is that they are full. Well one member says they are, another says it's half full and even offered an upgrade. If you're saying one thing, please have all your staff on the same page. All in all, marvellous hotel and staff, we're having a good week, but in the words of a school teacher, can do better!!
