Hotel Vedra - Ibiza West End Strip - Sant Antonio Trying to find decent accommodation in San Antonio can be frustrating to say the least, but how lucky we were to find Hotel Vedra, rated only a 1 star but its anything but. Now i could have got my magnifying glass out and looked for negative things about the hotel but im not , yes there were a few things but the positives way out number the negatives. We wanted a hotel close to the West end strip , that was GV for money , Hotel Vedra ticked both them boxes. I emailed the hotel to get a room with a view of the sea , we were given room 309 and on the balcony look to your right and that is what we got . The room was big , updated bathroom with a old dated small fridge , but it worked. The shower did the trick , plenty of towels , a big comfy bed and the air com was a saviour. Location wise was a 5 min walk to the West End strip , bars and early morning full english breakfast galore we found the Venetian €3.90 for a basic breakie with toast cant go wrong . The west end strip is a experience to remember , stag & hen dos , drinking and everything else you can think of . Cafe Mambo sunset 🌅 beach is walking distance and must to do . Staying at the Vedra we also went to see Es Vedra on the north west coast of the island , for us it was the highlight of the holiday " google or you tube es vedra " everything you read and see on you tube doesnt do it justice is a deffo must you will not be disappointed . Last but not least we would like to thank Javier ( manager ) and all staff for looking after us during our stay . There are so many positives about Hotel Vedra that is why i am still going to give you a 5 star review because you hotel is a hidden gem and you deserve it . Thank you and good luck for the remainder of 2017 . We will return .....
The staff at the hotel were very good and friendly. The room was basic but did have a fridge. It was too hot although there was a fan but wasnt useful. The location is perfect and very central to everything in town.
Stayed in many hotels in ibiza over the years but this is my first trip advisor review as I feel this hotel deserves it. Lovely large comfortable bed with soft clean bedding every day, large room & bathroom with lovely wee balcony. Room cleaned every day to a high standard. Air conditioning provided in an already great price. Lovely friendly staff who let us keep our room on for an extra 2 hours for no extra charge (very much appreciated). Hotel clean all the way throughout & a lovely wee coffee machine on first floor for that morning con leche. Great location for west end and walk to sunset strip. Lovely wee bakery right across the road also & the famous Pennsylvania burger right next door. Will most definitely return to this hotel. Keep up the great service.
Stayed here for a week, the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are basic but for what I paid I didn't expect anymore. Very central location but also quiet. Best thing is the breakfast, each day I was given a voucher to use any time at the cafe over the road, which is great for Ibiza considering it's known for partying and I was never up early for a traditional breakfast time!
We stayed here for one night before heading up to Ibiza Rocks up the road. We arrived very late at night (not that it matters in Ibiza). The room was clean. There is no air conditioning but they have a fan. The staff were lovely and the hotel is located in the centre of the town.
If you arrive in the afternoon it looks like a normal little hotel from the outside. Its a smal place but the staff at the reception is very helpfull. Got even a voucher for free tapas with a drink. The room was tidy and freshly painted.the window faced the inside court so no noices fro outside. The bathroom looked very new. It had a lovely Balkony where the food was served so I had my drink and tapas there. The only problem was ordering taxi. 3 times the reception rang but it never came. U better off walking 5 min to the taxi rang. At night time the street comes alive and there are people everywhere in front of it. I would book accomodation there before I book at Marco Polo 2. Rooms are much better here.
When booking I asked for a double bed and sea view which is exactly what i got :) this hotel is right in the center of town which can be noisy but didnt bother us as we were on the third floor. the only bad thing I can say is that there is no air con just a fan but to be honest considering how hot it was when we stayed it was ok as we were only there for sleeping and getting ready. staff on reception were very helpful and they also have room safes for only 2 euros a day.
for a budget hotel this place was great. the room was nice and tidy along with the bathroom. the maid who cleaned our room every morning was so lovely (even though she couldn't speak english)she would call the reception so he could translate for us "is there anything i can do for you" close to the central west end with all the shops and bars. close to the bus station for a cheap airport transfer. and the guys at reception were lovely and helpful. would stay again :)
I'm not satisfied for the hotel. When we arrived they didn't helped us with the baggage to the elevator, we took the stairs to the elevator. We were on the 3rd floor and to connect to the wifi we had to go out of our room. Then I ask the lady on the reception to wake us early on the day of our departure, but she wake us up on the wrong day at 5 am... But the room was cleaned everyday (maybe the only thing that I appreciated). Another thing that annoyed me so much is that they didn't helped us to find our room. So we had to served ourself with our heavy baggages with us.
I stayed in Hotel Vedra from Sat 6th to Tue 9th of July. I paid about £95 for all three nights. i stayed on my own as my friends were staying in a hotel 3 mins walk away. Because of the price I knew the hotel wasn't going to be the best I have stayed in and it wasnt. But it was in a good location as its in the center of San Antonio near the west end. It was noisy at night but I was getting in late and because I had a few drinks i fell asleep without any problem. The room was clean and surprising spacious. The showers was a bit small but all facilities in the room worked. The beds were comfortable and they we change on 2 of the 3 days. The hotel is 2 mins walk from the beech, 1 min from the the west end bars and there are plenty of shops and restaurants withing a min walk. The area was known for thief as I found out on my first night, i had my wallet nicked. But that could happen anywhere young Brits go out drinking. For a cheap weekend away this hotel was perfect and if was going to go Ibiza again then would certainly consider the Hotel Verdra.
