Myself and three friends are just back from a weeks stay in Hotel Tropical. What can I say, we all loved our stay here. The hotel is located in the perfect area. It's only a 5 minute walk to San Antonio's West End "strip" where all the nightlife happens. It's a 7min walk to the beach and some of San Antonio's best restaurants. The hotel is spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We knew it wasn't going to be 5star accommodation but were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The bedrooms are very clean and fresh. The air conditioning is brilliant and so the room was cool at all times. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels supplied. The staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. Nothing was ever an issue including order taxies which took less than 5 minutes to arrive. You can rent beach towels from the hotel reception for €15 which you get back when you return the towel at the end of your stay. The great news is you can change the beach towel as often as you like which we found great. The reception staff were always very polite. We were booked into have breakfast in the hotel but unfortunately we only made it to breakfast one morning as being out clubbing until all hours of the morning took its toll when it came to getting up in time!! The morning we did manage to make it to breakfast, it was great. There is a good selection of food which caters for all dietary requirements. The hotel has large swimming pool directly across the road. Here you have a very busy pool bar that also serves food. It's cheap and cheerful. The pool packs up very quickly so I would advise to get there early. It's defiantly a young persons hotel so maybe not great for families or people travelling with young children. Automatically with young people around/out clubbing there comes a certain level of noise but this certainly didn't bother us. Five stars all around ✌🏻
Me and my 2 friends stayed here for 3 nights but we didn't book it, we went through busabout and it was sick! I loved it because there were people our age and wanted to party and the vibe of it was sick. Although our room didn't have a balcony (which kind of sucked) they were still spacious with a wardrobe, fridge, desk tv and air conditioner. The view outside was still nice and the windows opened pretty far. The bathroom was tiny but I wasn't really bothered by that, it was till modern and the hot water worked. OH don't drink the water...it's like salt water so you have to keep buying water whenever you go. The beds were comfy although the linen wasn't great and neither were the towels. The wifi was pretty crap too. All the staff were helpful and kind to us and in the main lobby there's a big dining area plus a sitting lounge with pool tables, that was cool. The pool is across the road and if you have a balcony room (on level 3 or 4) you have a pretty damn good view of San Antonio and the pool. I like that the pool area has a bar with heaps of drinks and food and also pool tables but I feel like it should have had more music or even a Dj set some nights. Everything is quite close in San Antonio so it probably wouldn't matter where you stayed but this hotel was pretty good. I think price was average-high. Just remember that when you get into Ibiza, we thought it was going to be a tiny little island, the main part where to stay is actually about half an hour away (San Antonio) from the airport and all the big clubs are near there. So be prepared to spend a hell of a lot of money on taxis and club events..in San Antonio there's a main strip of pubs and little clubs we went to and we still have a heaps fun time. Thanks hotel tropical for a good time !
Hotel was average , rooms are adequate for the price. Good location near beach and nightlife. Food isn't great. However the security guard is over the top!Constantly having a go at people playing music at not even a high level. If he WASN'T here I would recommend this hotel...
This hotel is lovel to stay in, staff helpfull and understanding. I oringinally booked via a 3rd party package holiday and had an issue with the paperwork which was submitted, which was not the hotels fault but the 3rd partys. However after working with the hotel this got resolved. Food is okay, as I paid for a half bord basies, but sumtimes had to skip breakfast as over slept from the clubbing the night before, or miss dinner, because I was out raving.
Really lovely hotel. Defo would recommend... rooms are well air conditioned and clean and modern. Pool area is big and clean with plenty of loungers. The food and drinks by the pool bar are reasonably priced and good quality. Great location with just a 5-10 minute walk to the harbour. An Excellent rating easily!
So we were a group of ladies age range from 32 - 40. When we arrived we were apprehensive due to some comments on here about the security guard etc. Well we had a blast. Yes the rooms are pretty basic but they were clean. There is some street noise of an evening time but that is expected due to your location. The breakfast here is great, everything you need (Except some days there are chicken nuggets instead of hash browns....not for me at breakfast) The waiter that greets you at the restaurant in the morning takes your room number and sits you and he was so pleasant and accommodating. He also insists that you are dressed accordingly i.e no bikini tops without a cover or men with no shirts on....and in my opinion rightly so. The security guy that we met couldn't have been more pleasant. Granted me weren't really noisy but he was always nice to talk to, always high fived us on the way out and the way in. In all the days we were there I only heard him once ask a group to keep the noise down slightly and he did so very politely. The pool is across the road and doesn't open until 10am. You can't take your own drinks in there which is fair enough but the drinks prices at the pool bar are very reasonable and the waiters there are fantastic and so friendly. The pool area is cleaned and well maintained. they do have a gym there however quite a few machines were broken. All in all a great stay, very reasonably priced, clean and pleasant.
We recently stayed at Hotel tropical for my Hen weekend in Ibiza. Every member of staff was lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The Hotel is very clean from the reception to our rooms. Breakfast is a buffet with loads of hot and cold option on offer and always replenished with fresh food. Our room was spacious, bright, comfortable beds and good size bathroom. We also liked the fact a security guard is always on site. The hotel is also close enough to the West End but without the noise! The pool area is also big and very clean, loads of sunbeds, and areas of shade. The onsite bar and restaurant is great loads of food and drink choices and staff again are so helpful and polite. We will 100% return for our next trip to Ibiza. Thank you for a great weekend!!!
Came here on my own to visit my best friend who is living in Ibiza. From the start the hotel staff were welcoming and friendly, my room was clean and suitably sized with a lovely en suite! An easily accessible air-con was provided at no extra cost and was definitely needed in the 35 degree heat! I had breakfast included which was a buffet everyday and they provided delicious hot or cold food. The waiting staff are efficient and very friendly! The cleaners came to my room every morning and spruced it up for me, including fresh towels every day, a new toilet roll every day (even if not needed), mopped the floor and thoroughly cleaned the en suite. When leaving the room they always greeted you with a warm "hola guapa" and friendly smile. I didn't opt for the dinner originally but on a couple of nights I decided to pay €10 for the buffet, and it was definitely worth it! Especially when the wine is €2.50 a glass. Across the road they have their pool bar with plenty of sun beds, a reasonably priced bar with all types of drinks and they also serve hot food throughout the day. The location was superb, a short walk to the front, a 15 minute walk to Ocean beach, a supermarket and Tobacco shop round the corner and plenty of amenities. Overall I had a wonderful time in this hotel and massive shoutout to the staff who made the experience even better!
One of the best hotels in ibiza!! Nice, tidy, always clean, friendly very professional staff. 5 minutes from the harbour, 5 minutes to bars, pubs, supermarket, 5 minutes to the bus station! Clean and spacious pool with not so expensive drinks/food. I will definitely go back to Ibiza and for sure only Hotel Tropical i will choose! Thank you for the lovely experience
Perfect for what we needed for 17 boys on a stag party. Very clean, great location and nice pool! The temperature of the pool was consistently perfect! Great choice of booze at the pool bar and snacks too!
