Overall hotel is good, lots of sunbeds, clean, fairly close to west end. The food in the hotel was average and reasonably priced but AVOID the cooked breakfast the taste of the sausage was indescribable (bad breath mixed with pedigree chum). The giant wooden block they put on your key is outrageous, its obvious they want you to leave your room key with them. Why? The male receptionist got 100 euros from us (he didn't want the hotel management knowing about this) and threatened to kick us out of our room because we dropped a glass on the balcony and said it had fallen down and scratched his car. We were two girls staying on our own and he was very intimidating and at one point tried to with hold our passports. Reps were nice enough and friendly in our hotel and we did a few events with them (bar crawl, boat party and paint party) which were really good. Some of the reps from other hotels were rude and pushy telling us what speed to walk in between bars etc. I wouldn't stay here again because of the ridiculous receptionists enforcing fines without the hotels permission going into his own pocket! Also its much better to stay in Playa Den Bossa if your going for the big clubs rather than the west end. The bus ride is awful, cramped and sweaty, it takes around 40 minutes.
I've visited Ibiza very regularly since 1996 (when I was 16) and stayed in places as varied as villas, the 5 star Ibiza Gran Hotel and indeed the Brisa. In fairness, as cheap San Antonio hotels go it's actually pretty good. In the now ridiculous scheme of things in Ibiza, its quite cheap. Everything is OK. Rooms are basic, little sound proofing but livable in for a couple of weeks. Staff (while not going out of their way) are relatively friendly. Food is reasonably priced. The pool is large and clean. Like most ibiza hotels (even some expensive ones) the walls are paper thin so if you get bad neighbours (which is quite possible) you will struggle to sleep without ear plugs - last time I was there I had to listen to a Jamie Jones mix cd at full whack through the wall until about 9am when I finally went and complained. In fairness the security guy sorted it. It's not bad.
I stayed here last June/July with 2 friends. The hotel itself is great. Clean, regular change of towels, bedding etc and the staff are brilliant. (Seen some bad reviews about the security guard but we found him to be really nice as well. To be fair he must see some sights so I'd be grumpy too haha) The guys behind the bar are always so pleasant and funny. The food is cheap and really nice (try the chicken and chips) Drinks are cheap (around 5€ for a pint, cocktail or vodka slush) and there is a great supermarket close by as well. Only down side is some of the clientele. We were under no illusion that the hotel wouldn't exactly be relaxing, it's Ibiza, but when there are people throwing stuff off balconies onto the cars on the street bellow that's a bit too far. Also if you want to get any sleep during your whole stay take some ear plugs the walls are paper thin. Rep was a pain. If you get a note under your door telling you they need to speak to you don't fall for it. All you'll get is your time wasted and invited to a reunion thing at Skegness. No thanks love. You do have to pay a damage deposit at check in but you get it back and I totally understand why it's taken considering the disregard for the property I witnessed some people have. Cleanliness is to a high standard. Even the pool toilet is spotless. I've stayed in 3/4 star all inclusive a that haven't been as clean. Hotel in general is great for the money. Laid back atmosphere and ideal location (basically between the strip and the beach) streets are a bit confusing at first but you get the hang of it :) Looking to possibly return to Brisa this year. Equipped with some earplug so we can actually sleep at least 3 solid hours each night 😊 Overall I'd say it's well worth staying here if you want the full Ibiza experience. If the clientele wasn't full of roasters I'd stay here every year. Thanks Brisa 🙌🏻
Hotel is in a brilliant location, 10 minute walk to the west end pubs etc (once you work out how to get there from the hotel!) therefore is quite quiet at night if you need to sleep. Pool area is lively with music played all day. Cheese & ham toasties are amazing!
Stayed here last summer and after a few hiccups at check in and a trek from the coach drop off we settled in well... Hotel was clean and rooms and towels cleaned and changed daily. Good for the money as it was a last minute deal and would recommend to anyone on a low budget. Rooms could do with a revamp though as so many lower budget hotels in the area are now doing, bit of a trek to the west end as well but once you figure out the way its 10-15 minutes at most however i wouldnt suggest walking it later on as my friend and i were followed twice, maybe better if in a bigger group.
Me and my friend stayed here in august for a girls holiday. I thought the location was good as it was close enough to the strip to walk but far enough away so that you arent in the centre of it. Our room was a good enough size with a balcony with table and chairs. However try and get a pool facing room other wise you sat looking as what i can only describe as a drug den. The pool was a good size with ample sun beds and seating. There is a resturant to order food and drinks. Overall a good stay at a nice hotel.
The positives were that the hotel was clean and the reception was manned 24 hours. The less positives were that the street the hotel sits on is like a maze when you've had a few, and my room was very basic with no balcony which would have been nice. All in all I wouldn't be loathed to return if I was going with a group and there was majority rule, but I wouldn't choose voluntarily to stay here again as there are nicer and easier hotels to get to in San Antonio. Not great but not terrible.
booked this very cheap deal as 18-30 was dreading it was a 2* - was very shocked i would defo give this a soild 3* someone there at reception 24hrs - security there at night times - theres somewhere to put your keys at night - hotel staff very pleasant - about a ten min walk to the west end -
Having read reviews of this hotel some comments are pure comedy. Here's a truthful honest and reliable review: POSITIVES - fantastic location, although prepare to get lost when you've had a few - spotlessly clean, I smelt bleach most mornings! - decent pool area for the price - digital TV - wifi in the room, we were extremely lucky as we were in room 110 NEGATIVES - Jesus the walls are thin. You can hear every sound from next door, down to toilet movements! - the keys are HUGE - you are sure to get lost when you're drunk - breakfast left a lot to be desired but no one is ever up for breakfast. TIPS - keep your receipt for room deposit. They DO tell you when checking in to keep it. Don't keep it tough, don't get it back. It's quite simple! - the body painting in the square just before the west end is very good. The Scottish girl offering tickets is really helpful. We got our zoo project tickets and body painting in one deal. - if you're nesring toward the older end of 18 - 30 avoid the west end! - visit playa den bossa, extremely easy by bus just ask reception they will help you. - go to the larger clubs if you're slightly older Overall, the 18-30 programme is fab for people who want a full on drinking collapsing holiday. I really don't think it's geared towards the 25-30 age range. Our rep Jake Stevenson was very helpful, and a credit to Thomas cook. He booked us onto the sunset cruise which we did enjoy but the 18-30 lets go cheesy beer pong programmes just aren't for any older than 22 in my opinion. Perfect holiday for 18-22 year olds. Yes I would return to the hotel and loved Ibiza!
Hotel was nicely positioned in san antonio. 10 min walk to the bus station which is great. Hotel is well equipt and exceptionally clean. Room, pool area and reception were immaculate. Food was mediocre, reflected by relatively cheap prices. Its a bit of a rowdy hotel, but as expected by other reviews and that its an 18-30 hotel. I'm 38, wasn't getting drunk, and for me a little loud early morning. Unfortunately, upon checking out, I was not given my €50 deposit back. I was told (by the same guy who checked me in) that i needed a receipt. I cannot remember getting a receipt for this, and certainly wasn't informed it was anything to do with the deposit. He still had my €50 note stapled to the room paperwork (which i deem fit to prove i paid it), and had full access to my room to prove it was immaculate. I can therefore only assume that this was a scam, either on his, or the hotels part and cannot endorse staying here. This is my 8th time in Ibiza (2nd time this year) and never known anything like this before. Hotel Brisa therefore will only get 1 star from me.
