In so many ways. Upgraded to a suite which was lovely, especially to sit in the private garden with a bottle of cava of an evening before heading off into the town. Everybody on site very friendly. Breakfast was made to order, not loads of it but sufficient. Recommend the fruit platter. On the two days we stayed at the pool we were on our own so in effect like having our own villa. Only 1km to the town but not walkable, taxis come within 15 minutes and are only €12. We travelled around the island and stayed in 2 other places. Definately the highlight of our holiday.

Small hotel well located close to Ibiza town and with a wonderful view of the old city wall. Nice cottages, large and confy. Great breakfast and an OK pool (needs repairs). Very recommendable for couples.

Es Trull de can Palau is the heaven on eart. Most beatifull rooms and view of ibiza. People are very frandly. Restaurant is perfect with Spanish dishes. We are in love this place. It is our 4 year ( 2 times a year) we come to this beatifull spot and it will not be the last

Our 3rd time here and it's the perfect place to escape the madness of the island. The rooms are in separate buildings, so very peaceful and are more like small suites in that they are spacious, with a very very comfy bed, seating area/ couch area and nice bathrooms with Jacuzzi baths. Food is great, as is the service

I stayed at this hotel with a group of friends for my birthday and absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautiful, with a fantastic view to the old town, great rooms and a lovely pool area. It has a nice peaceful atmosphere, but is very accessible to the major clubs and Ibiza Town. The staff were amazing and could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The food in the hotel restaurant was all delicious and good value. Overall, I can't speak highly enough of the hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel is approached by a small track through an industrial area. Don't let this put you off - all of a sudden it opens up into a small hotel complex set in an old olive farm. The rooms are each small suites and look like individual houses. White and traditional. The bathrooms are particularly nice. Breakfast is very good and is on the terrace. The staff set up lunch for a group by the pool which looked very nice. The food is good but not outstanding and they could have done with one or two extra staff. The location is very handy for the old town and the airport. If you are looking for a quiet hotel with nice rooms and handy for Ibiza town, this is perfect.

On our arrival, there was nobody at the reception and after asking at the restaurant, an unmotivated lady escorted us to our room. She did not asked, if someone can help with the luggage, nor mention that we can park the car next to our room nor explain anything in the room (e.g. the minibar was for free, but realized this only at checkout). The room was small but clean and bright. The room style is very rural influenced and had a touch of the seventies, definitely not ours. The bathroom though was modern and with a decent size. The terrasse had a view on Ibiza and the sea (little), but also on the parking. The breakfast selection is huge and good, but also here not especially welcoming service. Our stay at es trull was short and what I remember is: nice grounds, close the Ibiza town, but did not feel welcome by the staff, rather impersonal place.

We stayed for 8 nights in this small hotel. The rooms are very good with comfortable beds and nice sitting area. Nice bathroom with bath and shower (not a separate shower) bath robes, slippers and good towels. Beautiful kept gardens, nice pool with umbrella's and towels which you can also take to the beach. Breakfast from 8h in the morning. You can choose the breakfast from the menu. Very kind service by Angeles. The lady who works in the restaurant during lunch and dinner did not appeal to us and therefor we did not dine at Es Trull. She must learn from Angeles how to receive guests. Apart from that, we would be happy to return to this hotel. It is hard to find the first time, but after that no problem. I don't think I would walk to town and would recommend car hire.

We went to Spain for a wedding (in Formentera) and stayed one night in Ibiza. Es Trull de Can Palau is about a 15 minute drive from the airport and very close to Ibiza old town. I'll admit I had some concerns at the beginning when we were driving there because the route to the hotel is off the main highway and up a windy dirt road. However at the end of it is this hotel, which has nice views to the sea and Ibiza town. The rooms are each in individual "bungalows" and ours had a little terrace with lounge chairs. The room was clean and quite spacious and even had a jacuzzi in the bathroom. The hotel is small and rural but very nicely decorated and very peaceful for Ibiza. They have a nice pool (it's not very big) and a restaurant on site where I believe they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast was included in the rate and was quite nice (you can basically order anything from their menu). The staff are friendly but sometimes the front desk is not manned so you'll have to go looking for them (they're usually in the restaurant or not too far away). All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for people who seek a bit of peace and quiet in the party scene of Ibiza.

Wonderful 'rural hotel' with amazing views on the city and sea. Just a short drive from Ibiza-Town (approx. 10 euro's by taxi). When you asked for a taxi at the reception, they always arrive within a few minutes. From every town on the island taxi drivers know where the hotel is located (to San Antonio it cost 27 euro's one way). We stayed for 5 nights in room number 2, Mitjorn - with probably the best view on the pool and Ibiza-Town and sea. Spacious bedroom, bathroom and small living room and terrace. Air conditioning available. The manager of the hotel Alberto picked us up at the airport. Some days we had dinner and lunch in the hotel: both were great. Good service and good food. Breakfast was very good. There is a menu and you can order as much as you like. Definitely try the Tarte de Santiago!!!! Breakfast was possible until 11:00 hours. The lady surving us at breakfast was really nice and always smiling. There are beach towels for the pool which you can also bring to the beach, if you like. The hotel has some bikes as well and you can hike up the hill behind the hotel (gives you a nice view). During the weekend some local people came to have lunch and relax at the pool. Just a great and relaxing place to stay!!
