The room we requested looked out over the ocean was perfect as we loved watching everyone enjoying the beach. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and always willing to go the extra mile, especially Franky, Jesus, Javi, Nicu and all of the entertainment staff. The resort was excellent for kids, the two pools were always clean and very safe. We were a group of 7, 4 adults, 2 young children and one teen and we all loved our holiday. The dining hall was always busy but always very clean, the staff in there, including Victoria and Anna worked extremely hard but always had a smile on their face. All in all an amazing holiday, one that we all did not want to finish.

Perfect place for holiday with kids under 10, lovely apartments, clean and friendly staff. Food is of a good standard and night time entertainment is pretty good as well. One word of warning - the towels start coming out about 7.30 in the morning!

Came here for the last week of August and it was lovely. We are a family of 5 2 adults and 3 children, 14 and twins 11. The room was really nice and clean and suited us perfectly. We had the superior family apartment which had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. We were above the restraunt which was ideal (the only down side was we had to climb 2 lots of stairs as there is no lift and it got a bit tiring). The food was really nice (we were all inclusive) and the variety of that and the drinks was good. The main pool was a bit on the small side, we were lucky it was a bit quieter with it been the end of the holidays. Always plenty of sun loungers. Plenty of entertainment for the younger kids throughout the day but our 14yr old was a bit bored sometimes. The night time entertainment but was a bit dull but for the kids it was ok. The town was very quiet and not a lot there but it was nice. The beach was lovely and had boats rides, pedlos etc and were reasonably priced. There is a bus into Ibiza town which again isn't very expensive and we had a lovely day out. I would definitely recommend it to families with smaller children but not teenagers. Over all it was a lovely hotel and the only down side to it was the wi-fi....it was very expensive to buy for a family of 5, we didn't buy it in the end and just used our data.

We have just returned from an 11 night stay all inclusive as a family of 4 with 2 boys aged 7 & 4. Most importantly we have had the best holiday ever so if you are looking to book, these are just some of the things we experienced. Rooms - We requested a quiet room in advance and were allocated a room on the ground floor in block 3 by the adults only pool which was perfect for us. It won't be good for you if you like a view as we faced reception but we were happy. The entertainment can be faintly heard from here on the balcony but not once the windows are closed. It does, however, finish at 11pm. Our one bed apartment suited us. One big bedroom with 2 twin beds pushed together, and a sofa bed pull out for the boys in the lounge. The kitchen was small but being all inclusive we only needed a kettle and a fridge which is what we had. There was also a microwave and cooking utensils. There was also a tv with a few English channels and the balcony was of a good size where we sat out in the morning and evening with a drink. The bathroom was a good size with a shower only. It was fairly clean but could have been a bit cleaner at times (that is the general feeling about cleanliness overall) and upon arrival the drain was blocked in the shower. It was fixed the following day when we reported it to reception the previous evening. The storage was adequate and cases fit under the beds. Pools - Highlight of our holiday. There was one very quiet adults only pool which we could not use. The other main pool was great fun for the children and floats were allowed. For the number of families when we were there which was the end of the school summer holidays, it could do with being bigger though. The splash pool with slides is really good and has shallow water. The only downside was my eldest hurting his foot climbing the steps on day 1 and he wasn't the only one. It was also a bit smelly from the bins outside and could have done with being cleaned up a bit more regularly than it was. Never any problems with sunbeds at any of the pools at any time of the day. Restaurant - Not enough staff to meet the demands of the customers. I set our own table a lot of the time as well as clearing away our own plates. We also had to move our own chairs. I have no doubt someone would have done it for us if we had have asked but the staff already work incredibly hard so its really not a fault of the staff. The food quality is good and varied but could cater a bit better for children. We did find something for them every day but towards the end of the holiday, I was making them sandwiches for lunch. Food sometimes ran out of the end of service which was not replenished so sometimes we missed out on things if we arrived towards the end of service. I do not agree with this when paying for all inclusive. The desserts (when they were there) were some of the best we have ever had on all inclusive! One thing missing which is only a suggestion to the hotel - pancakes for breakfast!! Bar - again not enough staff to meet the demands of the customers and sometimes there long queues. The all inclusive drinks were good though and the kids ice cream available on tap was a huge hit with us all. Again though things sometimes ran out such as the cocktails and the ice cream. Location - it is in a quiet location of Ibiza and there aren't too many other bigger resorts locally. It is situated almost on a really lovely beach though and there are a few restaurants and shops within close walking distance. There is also free parking surrounding the hotel. It is about a 35-40 minute transfer from the airport if driving - we chose to hire a car which worked well for us although we never ventured any further than Ibiza town and we only did this once as it was too far to return with the children. Entertainment - We took part in a few of the daily activities with the animation team which was well organised and good fun. We also joined in at the evening until the nightly entertainment which was the kids mini disco followed by a game. The boys had never shown an interest in this type of entertainment but really enjoyed it. Prior to the disco, they showed a few cartoons on stage. On site there is also a kids park which our children loved along with a basketball net and a table tennis table which you could use which again our children loved. Reception - welcoming and helpful and we organised an early breakfast with them on the day of our departure. It wasn't plentiful but I made us a few sandwiches and had a few biscuits. There were lots of lovely people staying at the hotel when we stayed of all different nationalities and language proved no barrier with our children which was lovely to see. The boys made lots of friends whether in or around the pool. We probably won't return here though because despite the fantastic holiday, we aren't sure a return visit would match our expectations and we would need to see some improvements at the hotel. We would also like to see a bit more of Ibiza. We did know when booking where we were staying so this is not a complaint. If you are going to this hotel or are thinking of going, you really should be in for a great time though and wish you a happy holiday :).

We spent a week at this resort in August, myself, my partner and three kids. What a wonderful time we had. Lots for the kids to do including the splash park which was great. Plenty of sun beds so no early morning gorilla tactics required to secure a place by the pool 😂😂 food was excellent with plenty of choice from one day to the next.. staff were friendly and helpful.. Just a stones throw away from the beach too which was clean and not overly busy. Lovely shops and restaurants nearby too. Would highly recommend this resort 👍👍

On the whole the resort was clean, tidy and had adequate facilities for the children and adults. The splash pool was made use of a lot by our grandchildren, however this pool and the 2 others including the Adults Only pool were very cold and ought to be heated. The worst thing about the resort was that smoking is allowed in the evening in the seating area of the stage where all the evening entertainment takes place. Everyone, including children, are packed in at close quarters and it is impossible to get away from any smokers once the shows have begun. I enquired of Reception and of the on duty Bar staff and was told it is allowed by Management. If you don't smoke or have young children then best to avoid the evening entertainment or be prepared to get out of the seating and try and watch from further away. Unless smoking is banned in the evening stage area I won't be returning anytime soon.

We have just returned from 16 days at Balansat. We stayed 14 days in 2016 and enjoyed it so much we decided to go back this year. Well what can I say, we were not disappointed. We have had an amazing holiday. We were self catering. The apartment was very clean and kept immaculate by the amazing housekeeping staff who keep the whole resort immaculate. The staff are lovely, from the warm welcome from Jesus on reception to the bar staff and entertainment staff. So much for kids to do, pool, splash pool, playground as well as a packed activities programme. Miguel, Alex and the rest of the entertainment team are amazing. Lots of fun things to join in with. Amazing holiday thanks to all at Balansat. Louise, Richard, Grace & Luke x

Just come back from a 10 day holiday we stayed in the premire room which was a bid dated the view was pricless as we could see the sea, i found the food very repetative and not a great deal for the children, snack nar should have a better selection, reception staff very frendly fran in the resturant was amazing and very friendly but was the only one that spoke to be honest, the main pool was way to small and over crowed once inflatables were in to no room to move, there was a cockarouch on the dining room table at lunch time that had to be removed by staff once pointed out

Had a lovely week with my husband, reception staff were very nice and helpful. We used the adult only pool 4 days out of 7 and it was never busy , so relaxing !! The room was the best we have ever stayed in, it was clean and modern and the beds we're comfy. The hotel is right on the beach which is gorgeous, we hired a boat out for an hour which was good fun. There are a few bars near the hotel the best was Caseys , Pete and his staff are brilliant, come 11pm when the all inclusive's have finished it really comes alive in there, brilliant !! The only thing which let the hotel down was the food, there was always something to eat but it wasn't the best , however Frankie in the restaurant is so helpful and friendly and can't do enough to help everyone.

Just got back yesterday after staying 10 days and I'm pleased to be home we stayed here on the all inclusive basis what I wouldn't recommend on the days we ate in the restaurant the food was of poor quality repetitive, and no selection for children we had 3 with us and they found it very difficult to eat there we've ate out the last 4 days of our holiday as I got served off meat . Food part totally lets this hotel down as is a lovely hotel nice clean and tidy and the staff are very friendly couldn't fault that in any way , there's entrainment on throughout the day and into the night which is ok , pools are great for the kids but maybe the kids one could be made bigger as it gets full especially with all the kids on the inflatables but the splash one is ideal for younger ones . You've not got much in the resort there's a beach just outside the hotel few bars and shops but nothing else
