Stayed at the Coral Beach for 2 weeks in July/August and had a great time. Its clean and the food selection and quality is fantastic. Like most all inclusive you have to queue a bit for the drinks at times but the staff get through the queues quickly with a smile. Hotel reception staff are 1st class and sort out any issue raised. The hotel is set in sleepy Es Cana so if you want a party holiday forget it as this is more a family location. There are a couple of good enterainment bars within walking distance of the Hotel (Popeye's and Charlie's) that have some class acts on. We are going back this summer if the gods smile on us.
Stayed at the coral beach in sept this year . Very clean , rooms very nice but no kettle due to bring a hotel , we took a travel one . We stayed half board and could not fault the food , was very good with lots of variety . Great location , right next to the beach and 10 min walk up to the centre . Had a fantastic week
Magic city with beautiful people, places and beach. It's also good for party and food. Good restaurants and bars... the view for this hotel it's absolut great. If you like the nature and peace... go for it!
Lovely hotel lovely quiet location right near the sea forest walks so close ,food in hotel was good selection although mostly catering for Spanish would recommend hotel clean confortable beds staff happy and friendly
We had a room with a double bed, a single bed and a small balcony with table and 2 chairs overlooking the pool. A large bathroom with shower and towels that were changed at your request. The dining area resembles a school canteen in style, however the standard and choice of menus more than makes up for this and will be good for those with small children or those who have fussy eaters as you help yourself to the buffet style options. The chef is on scene while presenting the speciality dish of the day. The service at the pool bar is quick and friendly with plenty of choices of food and drinks from 10 am!! The entertainment is excellent throughout the day and evening. Joaqium and Maggie do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Activities all day for little ones, pool and darts for bigger ones with Zumba and Yoga (stretching) for the older ones! All are welcome. Evenings have quizzes, singers and dancing once all the youngsters have been entertained beforehand. Go for it!
3* hotel but spotlessley clean, brilliant location, good room, brilliant staff so friendly and could not do enough for you, we went AI and decent food and drink, we had a great time there and the weather was good too. First time to Ibiza in 35 years, would we go again, yes we would, would we go to es canar again, yes we would, would we go to the Coral Beach alien, absolutely. We paid Jet2 £980 for the two of us AI, including flights, transfers and meals both ways on the plane. You just cannot fault Jet2 or the hotel. Transfer time was 1 hour
Had a week all inclusive. The hotel/rooms were immaculate and the food spot on. Location was lovely, we wanted quiet and that's what we got, the locals and other guests were all lovely and polite. Pool was freezing which I expected, however that didn't deter my 9 year old, he was in there from 9am until 5.30pm every day, and I braved it at least once a day. Would recommend to anyone.
The location is lovely really good place in the resort, although the pool area doesnt seem to get a lot of Sun you need to be one of those over-eager beavers with a towel and too much time on your hands to get a sunbed which gets sun all day and the Pool never got warm enough to use despite the 24-26 degree weather. The AI Ice-creams are the best bit of the hotel! Magnums or Cornettos fabulous. The rest of it was a bit hit or miss. Until Thursday when the spaniards arrived and suddenly the Chef turned on his A Game and the bar staff found actual Crockery. the Service was generally good, reception nice, bar staff mainly good the restaurant is under-staffed so they seem rude but they just have too much to do i think. I paid the 20 Euros for the Kettle tray in my room - they asked how many in my party i said 3 so they sent 2 cups!! they never changed the cups and despite the guy who took my money telling me they would fill it you have to go down to reception for more tea bags/coffee sachets/biscuits - and by the end of my stay they had run out of many flavours of Tea. You cant get herbal tea as part of the AI package - despite the pool bar having a box of green tea bags on top of the coffee machine. the food was OK most of the time not a lot of choice, bit samey/bland - the Mexican night was really good but the spanish had arrived by then. We wouldn't go back. the resort is lovely but being treated like a 2nd class citizen isn't what we go away for. Special mention to Jerome the entertainer who is amazing really lovely guy who talks to everyone.
First time in Ibiza. Es Cana is a small but perfectly formed holiday spot. The hotel Coral Beach Hotel is 5 floors of lovely clean rooms with excellent maid service. All the staff were friendly and happy. They made our stay 10 days very relaxing. It's a short walk to the very clean beach and only 10mins walk into the lovely resort. We were allinclusive and the choice of food was very good .It did get a little hectic at times but there was more than enough for everyone. For entertainment go to Charlie's and Popeye's they have really good acts on. Neil Diamond. Buddy Holly and Robbie Williams tributes. They were very good. Next to Popeye's which you can see from the hotel there is a small taverna called 2TT it is wonderful and very cheap. A cana and tapas is 1euro.Apaches is another cheaper place to drink and eat. I could go on.
If you want a cheap (ish) holiday with inedible food, a dangerous pool and rude staff … enjoy! Went on a very large family holiday I was very disappointed. Breakfast and lunch were acceptable but dinner was beyond bland. Think a random mix of plain 90’s school dinner style food, including themed evenings. Food was over cooked and tasted horrific. My 16 month old, who is not a fussy eater, refused to eat on several occasions. The restaurant could not accommodate groups bigger than 6 so we could not sit together. The restaurant seemed to be very busy at all times. Staff were rude and thought nothing of clearing tables whilst people were finishing or bumping into you. The snack bar was equally bad. The bars often had long queues and no drinks menu was provided. Staff were unwilling to make any compromises which was against “the rules” and refused to mix orange juice with fizzy water in a large plastic cup, preferring to provided both in small cups. Not the biggest request from someone 7 months pregnant. Evening drinks for 5 days were served in yet more plastic cups. The swimming pool water was freezing which was probably due to the fact that for large chunks of the day the sides were in shade, caused by an adjacent building and large tree planted in the heart of the grounds. Shade and cold water was nothing in comparison to how dangerous the surface around the pool was when wet. Facilities for children were very limited. The children’s clubhouse (large garden shed) seemed to run very limited activities, mainly colouring. One afternoon the activity was watching a film on a laptop. The playground situated under the large tree meant, the dated play equipment was covered in bird poo. Evening entertainment was also dated and odd on occasion with particular highlights being the Parrot show. On a positive note the hotel was clean, reception and domestic staff were polite and helpful. The area along the coast was very beautiful and worth exploring. Cala Llenya was a great day out. I would not recommend this hotel if you enjoy good food and drinks.
