Ramada Iasi City Centre3.5 out of 5.0

The hotel is very well positioned, very clean, silent and with helpful staff. The rooms are of average size, there's free parking, and there's a 6.5/10 breakfast buffet that had no variations in the 4 days I spent there. Honestly, I expected more from a "Ramada" hotel, but this could work. The shopping mall is right across the parking lot and there are some pubs right outside.
The hotel is located right near the biggest Shopping mall in Iasi (Palas) and the historical building Palace of Culture. They have a limited number of parking places and if you arrive late in the night you could have a problem. The rooms are very small and the breakfast is very cheap (not a Ramada standard i used to eat). However a plus for the staff!
The hotel has a perfect location, right in the center of Iasi, next to the Palace of Culture and Palas Shopping Center. Even if this is a 4 star hotel, the facilities are not of the greatest quality. The beds are uncomfortable and small, both in length and in width. The breakfast is far from perfect, with a small variety of things for a 4star hotel and vegetables and fruit which taste like plastic. The food in the restaurant is decent, looks wonderful, but doesn't taste so great. The reception desk does a great job and the people there are very helpful. Cleanliness is ok. Wifi works properly. Rooms on the 1st floor are usually taken by guests of weddings and baptism parties which take place in the hotel. Those guests can be very loud during the night. You pay for the location and the name, not for the comfort.
almost everything was great, the food in breakfast was dissapointing, there was shortage of forks and spoons, the cofee machine was not good and every time we wanted eggs i had to ask it
Good position... we stay one night... the room is clean and cozy... nice and helpfull desk service... the breakfast was extraordinary... a lots of variety of everything... 10 plus for the breakfast We will come back for the breakfast ;)
Great location, next to Palas Mall, as I had some business there but very dissapointing regarding the problems with their bath, smell and problems with the leak under the sink and bath .....for 350 ron per night, excuse me, I had other expectations, dirrty plates at breakfast and broken toaster....and choose something else if you want to get some sleep, parties downstairs make a lot of noise,,...won t come back, sorry!
The hotel is very well located, near the main attractions of the city and near the Mall. The staff is very kind, helpful and friendly. Large rooms, larger than expected actually for a 3 star hotel, very very clean, the towels looked like new, everything was spotless. Wi-fi is actually working perfect, the air-conditioning the same. The breakfast was not one of many choices, but for sure it can accommodate all tastes: continental breakfast, hot dishes, fruits, American breakfast. I don't know why is only a 3 star hotel as I've seen 4 stars hotel offering poorer quality stay. The bar and restaurant are conviently located and there is no noise in the room during the evening.
The hotel has an excellent location and I highly recommend it if you visit Iasi. Close to the pedestrian area, close the Palace of Culture, close to the Mall, you can find almost everything around, from history, to marvellous churches, and from nice shops to good restaurants.
This clean hotel is situated right next to the Palace of Culture which served as Administrative and Justice Palace until 1955, when it became home to four museums: Art Museum, Moldavia's History Museum, Ethnographic Museum of Moldavia, and "Ștefan Procopiu" Science and Technique Museum. The surrounding garden is particularly attractive and the Palas Mall, a large shopping centre, and Auchan supermarket are very close too. My room was quiet and relatively big, and the conference facilities were good - easily big enough to hold 30 participants. The lady on duty at reception the whole time I was there, Joan, was extremely pleasant and friendly as was the driver who fetched me at the airport on 23 June. Hotel guests have free access to the World Class gym which is just around the corner from the hotel, a real bonus.
I had the pleasure to take part at a special event organized in one of their rooms. The food was good and the waiters responsed quickly to any demand. I do not know if this is case for a regular visit so I can't comment on this aspect. The only negative part to my experience was finding a parking place as the hotel parking is small and does not allow many cars.
