Hotel is clean and convenient. Breakfast needs to be improved. I had breakfast at 8am and all the croissants are gone. My husband told me he had croissant when he had breakfast at 7:30am. I asked waitress for it and she said “no more”. I just can’t believe to hear that in such a nice hotel. Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am and all the croissants are gone at 8am! I was wondering why they couldn’t order more especially in summer high season. Besides, not many choices for breakfast. A little bit disappointed from such nice hotel!

Friendly staff at desk and in the restaurant. Nice modern hotel that blends into its surroundings. Rooms are comfortable. Large breakfast spread location is nice, beautiful view of the lake.
Finally a shower with door, nice spacious room. Great installations. Modern, clean, new. Breakfast could improve but it was buffet which is convenient. View from restaurant to the lake had sauna.
Not too many options for places to stay around Lake Myvatn but I can't tell you how happy we were to book this place. Top-notch. Great room, food, staff... you name it. They even offer to call you if the Northern Lights are visible. So great!
It was an excellent stay with two minor issues. One - the room was to hot eve. After I turned down the thermostat all the way. The reception offered to move me but I just opened the window. Two - the toilet didnt flush but they fixed it very fast. I’d still stay there again.
Great price compared to the rest of Iceland. The rooms are new, clean, and impeccable. Most have a balcony or porch out with a view for Northern Lights viewing. Heating racks in the bathrooms and heated floor. The dinner I had at the restaurant in the hotel was the best meal I had in all of Iceland. The breakfast is great and included, with lots of options. The dining area is beautifully decorated and I appreciated every small detail. Great happy hour option at the hotel bar. The location is great for all the sights around Lake Myvatn. Staff was incredibly nice. Would highly recommend this hotel.
