The location was convenient to Sandusky. The hotel it's self though really needs to be updated.
Love staying here! This is our 3rd time and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is also really clean.And of course the pool is an added bonus.
The staff was so nice and polite. The parking is great and room was clean. The pool is a real bonus too.
We really enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn. It was a very convenient location with beautiful views. Even though it stayed busy, it still seemed like it was quiet and we were able to get a good night's sleep every night. I like that breakfast was served till 10 am. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast area was always well stocked and clean. We plan to stay here again.
The room was nice and tidy. The best part was looking out the window at the view of the river. I chose this hotel based on it being on the river. My wife and I had a pleasant walk along the quay wall towards the lighthouse. Check in and check out went well. The breakfast was nice. Though or room was fine, what was displeasing was the ever present smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hallways.

I loved this. Got an off season rate for an overnight stay. I was in the area to attend a conference. Loved the harbor views and walks just outside the hotel. The indoor pool was VERY shallow but ok for relaxing. It was heated and the pool room was warm and comfortable with deck chairs. I’m going to come back a few times this winter, just to relax and decompress in the pool.

Everything was great. Breakfast was ok; nothing special but just like other motels. No jacuzzi was a disappointment after fishing all day. Would've taken the soreness out. Other than that; great!
We had a nice view of the river and watched the boats go by. A little to our left was a factory that wasn't a nice view, but we were not directly across from it.
Very clean , friendly staff. Breakfast bags could have been a bit better with milk or a juice added .
My favorite place to stay when we come up to fish. Food and drinks next door and ramp is a stones throw away. Plug ins for boat in parking lot and a marina next door with docks available.
The property was very clean, masks and social distancing are required. Pool was open which was nice. The room was very clean and comfortable as well. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because they advertise for having a continental breakfast but due to COVID all they gave us was a brown bag with an apple, granola bar, and some sugary treat. I feel the cost should be lowered if they aren't going to provide us with what they advertised. Otherwise, we had an awesome stay and the hotel was great!
