Best relaxing couple holiday Entertainment is amazing with the best yoga classes and all the time they are checking if you are feeling bored and I don't know how they remember all the guest names. Looking forwards for returning in Sept if we can squeeze it in. Don't let the security situation put you off your out of the way and only accessible via security checkpoints where the vehicles are checked before you get anywhere near the resorts. If you want to get away for some sun by the pool and sea, with more food that you can eat and 24hr free drinks it's a no Brainier.
Wonderful holiday here at the Middle of March with my husband, grown-up son and his fiancee. Check in process was easy, warm welcome. The hotel is a little tired, but, the staff and atmosphere more than make up for that. I would especially like to thank Tito and the Animation staff for making my gluten free requirements so easy, they could not have done more (talk about VIP treatment! ). Also of note were the wonderful towel arrangements in our rooms, different and more creative every day! Our room, 328 was large ,clean and had the most enormous bathroom, only negative there was that it was not a full sea view, as it is partially obscured. We had various treatments at the spa which were great. I didn't feel hassled by the spa staff, as some other people have commented, sure they ask you a lot, but just no thanks! We did the desert safari trip and the Mahmya island trip, thoroughly enjoyed both and would recommend. In all a great hotel, great food and great people, will definitely be back.
I booked a room for two adults and a toddler. I asked for a non-smoking area. They gave us a very small room "328" which was not suitable for a small family at all. There has been always a strong smell of cigarettes coming from nowhere! The curtains, the chair cover, and the walls had patches! Big cracks started to be apparent to the eye outside the property's buildings which give a repulsive feeling towards the hotel. The house keeping service was weird. On our first day we thought the service no more existed or something until they suddenly arrived around 2 PM! They came at around 3 the second day but my kid was sleeping so I did not let them in. They used to come earlier during our first two visits. They did not show up at all on the last day of our stay. The food quality was really really bad like it was cooked days ago. We had to eat at a nearby mall on the second day because my kid didn't like the food there. The restaurant staff were friendly anyway. The gardens were beautiful and the smell of the flowers was amazing. The location of this hotel is awesome but the beach needs attention. As an Egyptian, I felt humiliated by giving me an instructions file before entering my room. It is full of instructions of what to do and what not to do during my stay. We are grown-ups and we can behave. I wonder of our foreign guests take the same paper or not.
I visited Hurgada in Jan this year. I loved the hotel although as a single woman travelling on my own, I found the male staff to be flirty which made me feel uncomfortable. I loved my room, top floor with a view over the pool and sea in the distance. The beach area is stunning as well as the 2 piers that jut into the sea. Superb for snorkelling. I want to take my daughter in oct/nov to snorkel. The food was good but the Chinese are a pain! They flood the dining area and eat like pigs. They take so much food and have no manners. Even in the reception area, the Chinese tour guide cleared his throat and spat it on the floor!!!!!!!!!!! Management should really clamp down on the Chinese visitors as it puts other tourists off. Because it is a wonderful hotel with friendly staff. The pool is huge and really stunning. Its quite a walk to the beach but I didn't mind as the gardens are lovely. I will def be back but hopefully there will be little or no Chinese!
Cannot fault the staff so helpful barmen lovely chiefs lovely did not like food pictures look better in pics full of Chinese they hog the food hall they greedy and rude noisy talking outside room at 5am every morning all incluisive but only get a ice cream between 3)5 so no good for kids don't cater for kids food at all manager very helpful but I would never stay there again
