It was just nasty in the first room they gave me and I didn’t like that then I got another room and it just had a smell

I reserved a non smoking room and did not receive that. That really disgusted me

The lady at the front desk is very , professional and empathetic. I was assigned a smoking room and didn’t request it, the hotel was completely booked so se was kind to offer a deodorant for the room, and she apologized for not being able to assign us another room.

I could smell the odor of cigarettes coming from the vent.

Friendly staff! Room was small appeared clean, after check in we noted cred small flying bugs, like gnats. Later cockroaches... we left the room at 2am. Stay away unless you like bugs!

Did not even stay the night. Room had no a/c. The night staff could not even give me a fan. Had to go to Wal-Mart to buy my own fan. Still to hot went to another hotel. Next day manager explained it wasn't their fault and tried to say that I was beyond the cancellation period. Through some inconvience she refunded my money. Will avoid this one when I have to return.

When I checked in the clerk was nice and personable but the experience went downhill from there. The pool was closed for maintenance the whole time we were there, four days. The night clerk acted as she would rather have a root canal than deal with us, we needed a new door key, ours stopped working. There were three vacant rooms above us and instead of putting three men to the left or right of our downstairs room, they were given the room directly above us. They sounded like they were remodeling the room all night and then proceeded to get up and about at 5:30 in the morning. My daughter and I were there for orientation at Sam Houston and she had testing that day, needless to say she was a total wreck. Just some common sense and common caring is all that would have been required to make this at least a 4 star stay but do to the uncaring of staff, with the exception of the maid staff (they were great), it was a downer.

From beginning to end i had 2 tooms my room had hair all over the bed and dirty sheets. So they moved me and that bed also had hair do did the towels the shower was filthy sprinklers came on all on the guests and vehicles cry. Baby next door front desk attendent sucked

Convenient location. You get what you pay for. Decent for the money.

Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. When there was a problem it was fixed immediately without hassle. Room was very basic but exactly what's needed- a bed and shower to get through the night. Late check out was great to take advantage of.

I picked this hotel because of its location and price, so I tried not to be too picky...but the smell of smoke in my smoke free room was enough nauseating. There was dust everywhere and there wasn't even a remote for the TV.
