find some other place to stay, location is poor, hotel is old and falling apart, staff was friendly, I chose a la Quinta because we stay with them all the time and felt it was the right choice not knowing the area, I was wrong

Shabby, halls, looked like it wasn't finished with the update.

The staff were very nice. The room could have been eaner.

Affordable, very clean on a very good location next to the highway. One thing that makes it different that a lot other hotels is: Lightning Fast internet - 80 Mbts download rate. You can get that only from cable in home, not usually in hotel WiFi....

This property met my expectations based on other reviews. Good value for the price. It is an older property but everything in room worked and AC was cool and quiet. Breakfast had variety but coffee very average if you are spoiled to good java. Staff helpful and friendly. No elevator so ask for first floor room if you can't handle the stairs. Lots of restaurants in vicinity.

It was fine for a quick overnight stop while traveling with a pup. Breakfast was one of the worse continental breakfasts-be prepared to hit a drive through.

Overall very good. The location was the determining factor when choosing this hotel. I would consider this hotel again for business travel.

Normal run of the road hotel, nothing special but adequate for an overnight stay on the road to somewhere else. You need to have a reason to be in Decatur.

A nice manager greeted us and moved our rooms closer together. The rooms were clean and spacious. One of the TV remotes did not work but what the heck. The towels and sheets were clean but a little worn. It was in a good location for eating and shopping. Overall a very good value.

This hotel is average for the rate. Overall, it's fairly clean and in a decent part of town with lots of places to eat nearby. The staff was friendly and accomodating. But it is an older building with lots of cracks, chipped paint, etc. [...]

Bowling Tournament, Better than some trips

Once again we requested that we have adjoining rooms with our daughter and her family. We asked with a week and 1/2 notice but still we were 1/2 floor apart. This time we had no towels in our room and we didn't notice it until we wer ready to take our showers. Not very convenient. There was a whole group of boy softball players that were running the halls. One of them even pulled a fire alarm. The rooms all need maintenance - cracked floor tile, cracked walls, toilets that don't flush properly. We won't go back!

Asked for non-smoking room but ended up with a smoking room. Needed maintenance. Was 6 miles from the interstate and was not easy to find. The brochure I picked up at a rest stop was totally upside down so we travelled several miles in the wrong direction.

IT WAS A PLEARUREABLE, CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, FRIENDLY, ENVIROMENT. CLOSE TO ANYTHING YOU MIGHT NEED.EASY ACCESS.

It was an enjoyable stay, staff very pleasant to work with.

Room was very uninviting and bed sheets did not seem clean. Bath towels very small

La Quinta was convenient to my meetings and offered a clean and tidy room/bathroom and breakfast the following more. Good value for the money.
