I have spent only one night in this Hotel. Reception staff was nice with me for the check in, not so nice with me for the check out (different receptionist). The car park was full so I had to park my car close to the hotel, not a big deal but I had to pay extra money. Room was clean a bed was comfy.
Nice hotel right on the pedestrianised bit of Huelva town centre. Excellent location close to lots of shops bars/restaurants. Long term free parking near the hotel is difficult to find. Only minor issue was that the water pressure in shower was low.
The Tartessos is right in the middle of Huelva so there are plenty of good restaurants very close by. The area is generally quiet at night, it's not really a party town and the road is closed to general traffic. The parking and one way systems are a bit challenging. The hotel is a fairly modern and normal "international" hotel. There aren't many choices of this type in the Huelva area. It's generally very normal and the front desk staff were professional and helpful. I would have given it 4*s, except: - The fitness room was very disappointing. The equipment was in poor condition and worn out. There were only 2 sets of weights (5kg and 10kg). - The cleanliness of my room wasn't the best (although nothing bad). A few hairs in the shower and dust built up in the corners, that sort of thing.
Checked in early thanks to the reception staff. Hotel is centrally located with plenty of eateries around. Rooms spacious small balconies overlooking pedestrian zone. Parking included in room rate but look for a deal. Did not book a breakfast (€9 pp) so no comments here. Overall good call to stay to explore Huelva/surroundings.
Good business hotel. Rooms are good BBC World the only English TV Channel. On pedestrian precinct in town centre. Lots of places to eat the usual dead all day then comes to life 1800hrs. Breakfast good selection. Arrived late and gave up finding parking it cost 50% more in Cento Car Park but easy to find and short walk to hotel. Reception removed immediately from the bill.
This is a nice but relativly cheap hotel. It doesn't oversell or overprice what it is. Rooms are confortable and clean. The location is also very good, in the city center. Being spanish, the staff was suprisingly welcoming and helpful!!
Our fifth visit to Huelva to meet up with family and another stay here. The rooms are comfortable and reasonably spacious. We always ask for a room with a balcony overlooking the avenue, which can be noisier but we enjoy the buzz. We never eat at the hotel. There are so many lovely places for breakfast, lunch or dinner within a short walk. The staff are very helpful, but when checking out, check the bill! This time it was a breakfast and a cup of tea that had slipped on! We will be back again soon!
The Hotel was about 5 mins from the center and also the train station which was a plus for us. This rooms were cleaned, the A.C. took a while to work and the noise level was not that great. My guess was they were probably working in another room and that's why it got very noisy in the mornings. Other than that, it was a nice hotel to stay in.
This hotel is in a very good location, restaurants and coffee shops everywhere, it was a bit dirty but nothing major, they have vending machine with soda, beer, and water for 1€ I thought that was a plus. The walls are paper thin!!! I could seriously hear the next door neighbor conversation just like if they were in the room with me, from the bathroom, the rest of the room was not as bad with ppl next door. There's lots of restaurants around so you will hear everything and everyone walking outside and the garbage truck passing by, parking was good and felt secure but we had to wait by the garage and someone had to open the garage everytime we wanted in or out, and is thru a pedestrian zone, there's a restaurant right in front of it, if your not a good driver your car will be hitting chairs and ppl just trying to get into the parking lot. Staff was friendly, for a passing by and tired trip I guess it was ok
Room was ok, people in the hotel.. depenging.. if they were children group, it was awfull, also young people who were there for part and drinking.. I dont understand why people dont drink outside.. at the bars, and start screaming at the hotel.
