The fact that I started writing this review from my bedroom weeks ago, continued it lying on my sun bed and am now finishing it back home tells you the internet in Garden Playanatural is good! So good that they can use it as a voting system in their entertainment! That is only one of the features that made our holiday so relaxing, but an important one nowadays for modern day customers! No sitting in a foyer here to FaceTime home! So many more pluses that I’ll just mention some but not all here. We had a large spacious bedroom with plenty of shelving, good large bedside tables and luggage storage. Good quality cane chairs in the balcony, good blackout curtains, breakfast served till 10.30 am, a kettle borrowed from reception and no rush to get a sun bed- all of these contributed to relaxed mornings☺️! Our bedroom was really clean and kept clean, by staff who worked so silently! We were never disturbed by the loud scraping of chairs of a nearby room being cleaned, even with our lazy mornings! Our bed was a bit firm but since we were only there a week that was not a problem - I’ve slept in much more uncomfortable ones! Bathroom toiletries were restocked as necessary. And I so appreciated that, here the staff did what most hotels say they’ll do but don’t! If the towels were hung up they were not changed daily but they were changed after a couple of uses. Outside both pools were a good size, one was shallow enough for me to touch base with tiptoes- but still deep enough for a good swim. Perfect! Pools were always clean, yet no smell of chlorine. One end of the top pool had a sloped walk into it, meaning easy access to acclimatise to the refreshingly cool water! Good quality sun beds that didn’t tip when you sat on the end were great! Pool and pool bar open till 7.00 pm meant we were still relaxing as the sun lowered and we appreciated that there was no great rush rearranging and stacking of sun beds so we didn’t feel being chased away from the pool area in the evenings. Cleanliness and toilet supplies in the toilets including those at the poolside were always good. The hotel’s entertainment included such a large variety of activities offered that nobody could say they were bored! Staff were enthusiastic, skilful and the activities were always well supported AND this was achieved despite a lack of loudspeakers blaring what was happening next, or staff going round the pools cajoling customers who just wanted peace and quiet to relax or read. Melanie, Ana and Carlos were so good at their jobs Food was fine with a large selection available at every meal. We found the fish particularly good wi some new varieties we hadn’t had before. Yes, some of the vegetables were only lukewarm as is often the case in hotter climes, but in the showcase cooking we always had hot, freshly grilled meat and fish. Drinks on our all inclusive were fine, with named spirits, but the cocktails were not wonderful. The beer was San Miguel - couldn’t ask better than that. Sangria was excellent - not too sweet. Cava corks were being popped so often that it was always sparkling and I think that a few other folk helped me out with keeping them popping! Coffee at the pool was freshly made and delicious. Yes, there could be a queue at the pool bar during the day but Carmen was so very good - always patient and pleasant with the customers even the ones who were unsure about what they wanted. Free pool grub at lunchtime on All Inclusive was more limited than we e been used to, but the restaurant was not many steps away. Some people have commented on the lack of English understood and used by the staff - but it is an international hotel, and does not only serve our large holiday companies. We made the effort to use “please” and “thank you” in Spanish and never had a problem. So many wonderful members of staff to mention but have to mention the red haired Carmen serving the bar at night. We did not mind the queuing a short time for drinks -always someone to whom to say Hello.Thank you all for making this one of the most relaxing and enjoyable holidays in a long time. We’d be happy to return here.

went to this hotel in September, we knew it would be quiet which is what we wanted, it was really relaxing, the hotel itself is lovely and clean and the staff were lovely they couldn't do enough for you and always let on when you passed them, you got free bottles of water from reception which was good as there was no drinks in the fridge, you had to pay for the fridge to be stocked up, I cant understand why people moan about queing for drinks it only ever was for a couple of mins at most and when you got them ..oh my no short measures here and proper brands..... we found the food to be delish mine was always hot, fish straight off the hot plate and same with eggs in the morn, plenty to choose from we didn't have a bad meal, the entertainment was a bit cheesy and started quite late but was ok to say there was only four of them and one of them left after the first week and then mel cut her foot but hey ho. the pool was bloomin freezing ive never been in a pool as cold, I only went in twice lol. I would like a kettle n coffee n stuff in the room but when you consider what we paid for this holiday it was definatley worth the money well done to all staff for making our stay so pleasant we shall be returning !!

Apart from a 6 hour wait on the runway coming home we had a very enjoyable and relaxed holiday. The staff are all professional and attentive, the food Spanish and superb. The hotel is immaculate with probably the best pools we have ever seen. Our room was large with a balcony and sea view. There is an excellent spa here which costs 15€ per person for 90 minutes. The massage I had for €50 was below average in my experience. On the downside however there are a couple of suggestions we would make to enhance the experience. 1. Include tea & coffee facilities in all rooms like the majority of hotels 2. Have a shuttle service to El Rompido at least 4 times EVERY day 3. Don't charge for the room safe 4. Don't charge 2 Euro to change pool towels 5. The fridge in the room should be full on arrival and free if you are paying for all inclusive. 😎

we had a week here the room was very nice and had apart sea view which was good as we had not paid for this food was good and victor was was very helpful and always happy had no problem getting sun beds no trouble getting drinks a special mention to melanie who was first class and a credit to the hotel she worked very hard and would always come a have a chat all the staff worked very hard to make it very enjoyable would love to come back see you soon

Hubby, daughter and I enjoyed one of our best holidays ever at this hotel. It's adults only, no over-excited children running around. There are two pools, the higher level pool is warmer and shallower than its big brother on the lower level. There are plenty of sunbeds available whatever the time of day. The food is fabulous, loads of choice and always fresh. There are always those who complain about the food wherever they go, but quite frankly they are idiots! We loved it. Drinks are available from the pool bar during the day, and the hotel bar in the evening. There was usually a queue but the staff are efficient and you soon get served. The drinks are strong, no mini measures here! The room was huge with a massive balcony overlooking the woods and the sea, and there was a swallow's nest in the corner that housed 4 swallows. Lovely to watch them flying to and fro. The staff are wonderful, any questions or problems quickly dealt with. In our case, the 3rd bed in the room was too small, the hotel manager ensured it was replaced with a larger bed within 2 hours of our conversation. The lady who cleaned our room was a delight, so helpful. Every member of the hotel team was friendly and courteous. The entertainment team work very hard. They ask if you would like to join the activities but don't pressure you at all. The evening entertainment is good fun, bear in mind that everything is explained in at least 3 different languages so can sometimes take a while to get to the point. El Rompido is a lovely little place well worth a wander. We ate out a couple of evenings at the Carib ll (I think that was the restaurant name) superb food. Lepe is nice to wander around and we slotted in a day in Seville too. Will definitely be re-visiting the city as it is amazing. All in all a wonderful relaxing holiday. We were looked after beautifully by the staff, and came home chilled out and refreshed. Will we return to this hotel? In a heartbeat 😃

It was a delight to be in an "adult only" hotel, in a quiet location. We had 5 days of unbroken sunshine and total peace, enabling us to completely unwind and relax. The entertainment team were very enthusiastic and encouraging, without being pushy. I joined in with several of the activities and thoroughly enjoyed them. The pools were an absolute delight - yes, chilly at first, but then the air temperature was over 30° - lovely. The whole complex was spotless. Our room was basic but had 2 double beds pushed together, and a magnificent view over the pools and the sea beyond. We found all the staff very kind, attentive and approachable. We'd like to thank all of the staff for making our holiday such a good one

In our party 5 of us are pensioners 2 in in thier early 60s and one is 50.We all had a great time .The rooms were large and clean the beds were comfortable, food was very good. Pool areas were clean, entertainment good staff friendly,we all had a very good holiday.

I really do not understand the negative views. I did not see any queing at bar in evening. ok entertainment is not professional, but ok. to be honest after walking and exploring through the day I was ready for a sleep in the very large bed. Which was very comfortable. I do have a little concern around the pool staff. I will not say why but the management know. Food very good. I love my food piping hot, so microwave was a good addition. The diabetic fruit cake delicious. I am not diabetic. One thing. Perhaps don't use so much salt. Thankyou

Just this minute in from a weeks holiday and felt must write a review. I felt the staff worked very hard under difficult circumstances and think that both Carmens at both bars served us very well, we were not short measured and were always treated politely. The restaurant staff were always busy, but would like to mention Pepe, he might not speak perfect English but I don't speak any Spanish and we managed fine. But the stars for me were Melanie and Silkie, their versatility and enthusiasm was amazing. The weather was fantastic, plenty of Sun loungers, the pools were cold at first but fine when you got in. The rooms were amply big enough, but just a bit tired looking. But yes, it was 2 single beds pushed together. I found the food ok, I like fruits and salads and the grilled meat was always tender. Yes maybe not the hottest, but it is a buffet style restaurant . And yes, English people were in the minority, it was mainland Europe, what do people expect. In short, I had a lovely holiday, would I go back,?probably not, plenty of new places to try.

Hotel quite staff very good entertainment poor not much English spoken by staff bar in the evening you had to que to get a drink and then it was a plastic cups each so up and down like a yoyo all night gym was poor very old equipment some machines did not work we had a sea view superior double room but beds where single beds there was nothing in the fridge at all we paid for the safe and also 20 euros deposit for towels and when you changed towels 2 euros each time you had a new towel swimming pool well cold all the time my wife had her birthday on 15th of November we did not get anything from hotel at all that's a first can't fault the staff in the kitchen staff work hard met some great people out there but will not return to the garden
