I had asked for an early checking when booking. However, the receptionist still didn't let us go in because the room wasn't ready. So we waited for 3 hours till they were ready.

Bad too many smokers and people standing at your door

When I pulled up to LaQuinta, I thought I was at the wrong place. From the outside, it looked like a motel. I went in and the staff was friendly, even let us check in 3 hours early, and check in was quick and easy. When I got to the first room, the smell was of a smoker that tried to cover it up with air freshener. And it was not comfortable. Orbitz stated that the rooms came with a refrigerator and microwave, but failed to say only for a king bed room. So, I called down and asked for a different room because of the smell and no appliances and they charged me an extra butt load. She got a little smart and said "Next time don't go through Orbitz, come straight through the hotel". Because it's really a motel, you have to walk out of your room which is outside and walk down to the main lobby for waffles and cold boiled eggs. The pool was nasty with tons of leaves in it. The two days that were in the 70's we couldn't even swim because no one wanted to clean it. There were actually 3 LaQuinta Inn and Suites that did not look creepy close by, but we didn't have extra money to pay for hotel, because our money was already spent on the motel.

Like the modern look of the room and facilities inside.

the room is ok, clean and comfortable - but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. I was woken up by a loud train a few times, and then early in the am (5am) by other guests loud trucks (it is texas after all)

Don't waste your money. The money they charge is not worth it. I stayed at a La Quinta on i-10 and was decent so i went with this hotel. I was really surprised, and not for the good. I just did not get a good feeling. All hotel rooms are accessed from the outside, even the elevator. Everything is outside vending machines. The washer and dryer! Personally i don't want to do my laundry outside.Everything just looked dirty on the outside when u got up close. The paint was all chipping off the railings, I think they are in the process of updating somethings, but they need to do a complete over haul. The room had newer stuff in it. But the bathroom was old and stained. And the tub had an elevation to it for some strange reason. I stayed one night then rebooked else where in the morning. And don't get me wrong. I'm not used to staying on 5 start hotel or anything either. I don't have the money for that. But i want to stay somewhere i feel clean and safe in.

We checked in after a A&M football game. Staff was average. Room had plenty of space and nice king size bed that slept real good. Continental breakfast was a joke. Overall a 3 star stay.

It was a comfortable stay with the family. And the price was just right. Close to restaurants and shop. Will stay here again if we are in the area.

We stayed for two nights at this location. Good location to where we needed to go. Easy access to the highway. Clean.

First things first, the Staff was excellent, but the motel was not what was expected. The plumbing was touchy and the internet service was slow as molasses. For a business traveler avoid this motel.

Restroom was very dirty. Room was decent but due to the rooms facing outside, the rooms were very muggy and the AC was very bad at cooling the room.

The overall experience of the hotel was great, but my only complaints are that it is hard to get to just because of the road layout and the only other thing that kinda annoyed me was the I had to went to the front desk to find out when check in was she told me after 11am the first time then I came back about 11:45 but only to be told that the best time to check in would be after 1 b/c checkout wasn't until 12pm. I'm not one to nitpick about little things but it would have been nice just to be told upon my first arrival that I should come back after 12 to check-in rather than having to waste my time coming back twice. I only needed a room due to home renovations being done, maybe next time the front desk staff could just intently listen what their customer is asking instead of interrupting them because they were swamped. I would have gladly waited until you had the time to really talk to me.

Power went out in a light storm light in bathroom took half a day to come back on other than that is wasn't too bad definitely not that good either

We needed a place to stay over a holiday weekend, because all relatives' rooms were full. This met the need, and then some. Breakfast was good, pool area was unusually large and nice for a hotel of this kind. Mattress was nice and firm. Overall, a very good experience.

Normally just book a room when I get to Houston but due to the NBA All Start week everything was booked. I was forced to have to find a room further North out of the Houston area. It was not disgusting but it was far from impressive at the same time. Price was good and you get what you pay for I supose

This was the cheapest hotel price that I found in the area and it was the closest! Very comfortable. A little noisy for my wife but fine for me.

This hotel was very convenient for my needs, located in NW Houston at the intersection of Hwys 6 & 290. The free breakfast buffet is good, with varied selection, and there are several other dining spots within easy walking distance. The room was quite comfortable and well furnished, and is a bargain at the rate charged

The Rooms need renovating, the decore was outdated. The restroom was old and some molding appeared in the tub area. Although the renovations are needed the room was cleaned to the best of its ability. The walls are not thick enough you could hear in the room above and on both sides. Can you please tell me where the elevator was????

The hotel was conveniently located, and within walking distance to a convenience store and several restaurants. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The location was a bit noisy (probably due to location near highway), with police sirens, noisy cars, etc., throughout the day and night. It was noticeable, but not too bad unless you're a light sleeper. The bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable, and the room was very clean. I would stay here again.

rude staff and unorganized!

tried to turn a motel into a hotel! failed!

loud - right next to a hwy

learned a mistake
