The non-smoking room I requested smelled of smoke. There was a small, used toilet paper roll left in the bathroom so I had to get more toilet paper. While I was checking the mattress for bed bugs, I noticed that the mattress itself had food and debris throughout the crevices. The air conditioner made noises all night. The WiFi was spotty, at best. The television didn't work. The "business center" was just two computers, only one of which was hooked up to the printer. The downstairs bar/restaurant was closed the night I arrived. After inquiring, the representative at the desk told me it was because the attendant couldn't come to work that day. I walked next door to get dinner at the diner.

Could not find any hotel rooms in the area. This was the only place available. For 4 nights at $100 a night it was grossly overpriced. Shabby, old furnishings, lots of dirt.

This hotel is extremely out of date, the room smelled like mildew. The remote control had no batteries, when you turned on the bathroom light it made so much noise that you had to turn it off to avoid hurting your ears. Never will stay here again

Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! Discusting, dirty, smelly (When I turned the heater on at night it smelled like urin).

It is a great hotel, good service for the price, it is worth

SERVICE WAS SUPER NICE. KILLED ABOUT 10 SPIDERS (NOT A JOKE). STILL NICE FOR LOW PRICE

I read the review first and thought I would give it a shot anyway. It was not very clean, holes in the sheets, room smelled like cigarette smoke, noisy freeway, loud and squeeky heater, bugs, inconvenient office hours and the neighborhood was iffy - strip clubs and adult stores nearby. Just not good.

plesent great staff great comfortable room atmosphire was great and no one bothers you..

When we arrived the room was never vacuumed. We stayed for 8 nights and we never had our towels refreshed once!! The room had a very bad odor. The room was not once cleaned through out our stay. We would never stay again at this hotel.

Would have liked room service every day (there was none). Trash built up and had to find a trash bin outside. Highway noise was a little loud but bearable. If you have noisy neighbors (loud TV, voices, etc) you will hear it, especially if the room is above yours. Great location for what we needed to do. Kitchen was a money saver as we could heat and cook simple meals and restaurant leftovers.

I felt very unsafe as soon as I check in the hotel. The tower smell like a restaurant rag, water is running in the shower. No shampoo, no soap in the bathroom, remote control doesn't work. At least i got out of Kabul(Sun Suites motel) alive. How would some one like Orbitz would do bussiness with them. I don't know it I ever trust Orbitz again.

[...] was a RUDE employee. Nothing was done to compensate me for the fact my flights were delayed and out of my control, and I could not be there at my regular check in. [...] was very helpful!! I would definitly recommend him for a promotion!!!

Only 6:00 in the evening and had to bang on the lobby door to get in. Room was musty and moldy. air did not work well so the room was wet and sticky. I punted my fees for the second night and stayed nearby at a Crown center for the same price.

The title above says it all. Hated it

Within 10minutes from Intercontinental Airport, as well as 5min from the Greenspoint Mall; however, wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel for long term vacation, felt more like a Motel, housekeeping terrible, everything is done upon request including emptying trash cans, and fresh towels. Poor plumbing, sink water was slow to drain, I had to bring my own soap because there was none in rooms, rooms were stuffy, bed and pillows were too hard, not the best stay, but served it's purpose for the time being.

Customer service was good. But it didn't get housekeeping service everyday like I usually get at every other hotel I stayed at. No fresh towels daily no beds made.

We sought a quiet motel at which we could rest during interspaces of a hectic wedding weekend. Sun Suites was quiet, clean, and adequate as a place to stay and to base operations. Some of our criticism stems from expectations we have learned to expect from the motel industry. For example, to how many motels do you bring your own soap? Yet, Sun Suites did not provide soap until we asked for it. And when we asked for soap, a motel employee made rude remarks at being summoned to the desk at 11 pm. One does not expect motel management to excoriate guests for ordinary requests. The motel would have been nicer with a pool. Perhaps I misunderstood the booking website we used, but I thought the motel had a pool. The booking website gave us a further problem by finalizing a charge to our credit card with a no-cancellation-possible clause, even though we tried to cancel within an hour after booking, even tough this was a week before our trip. The price was rather more than we expected for what we received. Management was kind enough to fulfil a request we phoned after booking to obtain a ground-floor room.

Good location, decent clean rooms but not fancy, nice staff, well lighted. Right by highway so it was a little noisy.
