Holiday Inn Express Houston Southwest - Sugar Land

The bed was extremely firm and ruined our trip. I was very disappointed since the reviews were seemingly above average. When I stay at a hotel I expect a comfortable bed and quite surroundings so I can rest. A tough mattress can ruin anyone's night.

Everything was great except breakfast ended too soon, lol!

Staff and food were great. Pillows were too fluffy and husband could not sleep even with one. Room warm even though the temp read 65.

I was in town for an overnight business trip. The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel met my needs. The free breakfast was a nice touch!

No complaints, smooth visit. Close to local amenities

It was wonderful and had an amazing breakfast. The staff at night were awesome but morning staff very rude

Hotel was great service was awesome couldn't had more stress free time

1. Somewhat easy to see, off the Southwest Freeway, but very hard to get to! - Many one-way streets, and located within a large shop-and-office complex 2. Tiny, tiny bathrooms, with very limited shelf space

Breakfast was good, Room was neat, Bathroom floor was slippery due to polished granite. Had microwave and refrigerator which was very helpful for keeping food for 1 yr old.

The bed was uncomfortable and pillows were uneven. The bathroom was too small and the shower curtain was defective. Everything else was pretty good for the price I paid.

Actually a very nice experience. Holiday Inn Express is my choice wherever I go. I have high expectations and they never fail to meet them. I gave a '4' for value only because I hate paying >$100 (incl tax) for a room. My experience anymore is that if you pay much less, you will be sorry.

The hotel is a great location and clean. The price is reasonable. Great for a short time stay.

It was fine. The air conditioning in the room wasstuffy, but I didn't have too use it much. The people there were great, and it was very clean. The breakfast was ok, I've had better and cheaper places, but I still ate! It was too far from the airport for me, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. I wish they had a shuttle.

I was there for a conference and the hotel was nice but the pool was okay and I had problems with the toilet. Other than that, it was nice for the price.

The room was very clean and the people were friendly.

Clean, well maintained, courteous staff.

Decent free breakfast, great amenities, clean hotel and beautiful location at an affordable price. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel was when were checking in, the female desk clerk tried to rush me in signing the paper she handed me (she kept pointing where I need to put my initial and signature). It was 9pm on a Friday night and nobody was waiting behind us. I guess she doesn't realized that not I only I can and have the rights, but most importantly, I WANT to read the paper before signing it. (I just ignored her and read the entire document anyway). All in all, I still recommend this hotel location.

I came down for a quick weekend trip. Needed to stay in Sugar Land to be close to several different people I needed to visit. I needed an inexpensive hotel, but one that was still going to be clean, have nice staff, have free internet, and most importantly complimentary breakfast. I did not want to have to pay EXTRA money on this trip to eat breakfast or to use the internet. I only stayed for one night in non-smoking King-bed room, but that one night was great. I liked that it had a refrigerator and microwave because I had to save some left over food and heat it up--I even used the microwave to reheat some of my breakfast. The bed and the pillows were comfy. My bthrm and linens were clean. I've stayed at 5-star hotels before so I know what "super deluxe" is like, but this hotel is still good if 5-star is just not in your budget and you just need some place like what I've described above. Also, it was fairly safe...(meaning, I didn't feel afraid, but I also used caution & didn't just stroll around or linger outside.) I happened to come alone and didn't feel uncomfortable...the parking lot was somewhat quiet/dark as there are not many open businesses next to the hotel, but I still felt safe enough going to and from my car alone. (there was enough light to see though--I parked in lit areas or near the door). I would most definitely stay here again if I needed to stay in Sugar Land. Oh, the only problem I had was that the pressure in the toilet was low...it stopped up a bit and I had to ask for a plunger, but all the staff was great and no rude or slow service.

This was very nice hotel maintained perfectly. For the price it was perfect.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was super quiet. What more can you ask for in a two night stay.
