Nothing special, no amenities to speak of, but the room was clean, quiet, and staff were efficient. If you need to stay in this part of town and funds are not your strong suit, this motel will work.

The picture of this hotel is very deceiving! I DID NOT feel safe at all! If I would have been staying longer than 8 hours I would have left to go to a different hotel. The bathroom was horrific! There were used wash rags left in the shower. There was an open hole in the bath tub for the drain. The toilet seat was the wrong size for the type of toilet. And it was stained yellow! The floor was sticky and there were white drips all over the door! It was disgusting! The TV had to be plugged in and we had to set up the cable ourselves. We had a room with 2 queen beds. One bed was a queen mattress on top of a double sized boxed spring and bed frame. We had friends staying 2 rooms down and they walked in to a cigarette cover up with insence smelling room. Which gave them headaches! And to top it all off.. they had someone calling their room multiple times in the middle of the night. 2-3am! About 30 minutes after they unplugged their phone in the room they had some random guy from the office knocking on the door. Not once but two different times at 3 in the morning! Needless to say they did not open the door! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BOOK YOUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!!!

Can not beat price. Outdated look in rooms but it was decent. The room looked nicely cleaned but I still wore my sandals on the outdated carpet. Parking lot looks secure and lighted at night. Employees nice. Bring your own amenities always. Lock your vehicle door as well. Surrounding neighborhood doesn't look safe at night.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was rundown. Continental breakfast was on the sparse side. The area did not appear to be the safest location.

Good place, clean, convenient location. I really enjoyed this location because it was near the dental school in Houston.

Had a good stay with my wife room was clean cheap and close to downtown Houston without the traffic

Very nice hotel loved room very quiet and the helped us a lot would recommend to anyone staff was awesome

Dangerous area. There is nothing in the suite, no body wash, shampoo, tooth brush or tooth paste, especially no security. Living in the smoking room is making you so dizzy.

Pretty cool Jacuzzi...staff could have been a little more attentive. They were doing some remodeling, but it didn't bother me.

The full time residents here are rough. The Parking was fenced and seem very secure. Right in the middle of the Medical complex of Houston.

The hotel is near the medical center and the George R Brown Convention Center. I have used it last year and it is comfortable, the price is very good. Its quality corresponds to the price.

Took a two days' trip to Houston and had a good experience with this value hotel that you can find close to the downtown area. Staff were very nice and helpful.

NICE place to stay decent area room could be cleaner but are big and nice

actually the room was better then I expected the location is not so good but the place it self is OK could've been cleaner but you get Wat you pay for

I came in to Houston for a few days to take in some Astros games. Unless you're paying the big bucks to get a room downtown, this location is about as good as you're gonna get I think....it is Houston. It was not a concern for me, I never felt unsafe, etc. If you just need a no frills, cheap room this place will do it. Breakfast was some Little Debbie cake and cereal...I passed. I will say that I have NEVER been is a better smelling room. It was clean and had a genuine freshness about the room even though some heavy renovations could be in order. Seemed to be privately owned also which furthered my satisfaction and appreciation for the service and facility.

The room was relatively clean. Remote control to TV did not work. Lamp shade was cracked and damaged. Long black hairs on floor of bathroom. Iron available by request from front desk but no ironing board.

Close to all food chains like pizza hut, burgers as well as CVS and Walgreen this is a good location for my brief stay. Staff was super helpful.

The hotel was a pretty good deal. My only complaints are that the sink stopped up at one point in the night and they use the term "continental breakfast" very loosely, but you get what you pay for. The staff was fantastic and the room was very clean. Overall, I had a pretty good experience.

The staff is just so friendly and wonderful. Restaurants are a stone's throw away. Except for the distinct odor in the room I would have stayed longer.

Hotel was disgusting! Nasty used toilet paper in tub and behind toilet. Smelled bad, wasn't in a great part of town. Was just needing a hotel for 1 night for my dr appt. won't make that mistake again of a "cheap" hotel.!! Needs to be removed from website, as it isn't as good as they say! Luckily the desk last was super nice I got a full refund without being charged a cancellation fee!
