VERY NICE HOTEL, GREAT STAFF, NICE POOL, GOOD BREAKFAST

Hotel was 3 mins away from my location, staff was very friendly , rooms were clean

Just in town for one night but this hotel was a great value. Dinner, happy hour and breakfast included!

Being able to make your own waffles (batter pre-made) in the waffle iron and having some of the other usual suspects available at breakfast (scrambled Egg Beaters with very dry sausage/potatoes/etc.) was very convenient, but at the price I paid ($165, a discount at the time), I expecting a more 4-star quality of maintenance in the room... The cockroach I had to kill and flush was a first, and I have been in dozens if not hundreds of hotels in my lifetime (call me lucky, after all, doesn't everyone have the cockroach experience at least once?) However, I believe (sarcasm added for effect) what bothered me more was the special secret gift of bed bugs which nabbed me over 2-dozen times during the two nights I was there. After the first night, I thought it might just be a light rash (didn't see any bumps), but after the second night I knew I was being loved on by some hungry critters. I am not sure I recall a worse experience of itch torture on both feet and both forearms in my entire life. Quite memorable, I must say. I would like to recommend this place, because it seemed cute and quaint, but...just can't bring myself to do it. Sorry.

Unfortunately most the good hotels in Houston were sold out when I tried to book (due to a convention). This place had the best rating of the remaining hotels and it was close to my business appointment, so I booked it. It was similar to a low level Holiday Inn, with cheap sheets and a dirty, old carpet that gave me asthma attacks. I wouldn't book there again because I hope to have better options in the future. On the plus side however, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was also a bonus.

Room was clean and well appointed. Very comfortable. Free food and drink was a surprise. I feel like I got a better hotel than I paid for.

Very friendly staff. Evening drinks and food a plus. Convenient location in Sugar Land to US 59.

Wonderful staff, excellent complementary breakfast.

Drury Inn was not an intimidating, high-class looking hotel at all (not far from First Colony Mall). The king size bed was super comfy with 5 pillows varying in softness. The pool area was nice and quiet (echo proof room) with towels already in there. Overall it was an awesome place to pick if you're not looking to spend too much there.

Nice and quite. Perfect location and staff. Parking available for free onsite. Will definitely stay there again.

The pictures posted on the site are very deceitful. Since this is a pet friendly hotel, I was looking forward to that long stretch of green grass as seen in the photo, for my dog to revel in, but this wasn't the case. The hotel is located in the middle of town with the interstate directly in front of it. There is no place to really walk your pet, unless you use the sidewalk adjacent to the parking lot. I dismissed this dismal image after arriving when the front desk clerk handed me a free food coupon and a beverage card that permits 3 free alcoholic beverages per guest. The "dinner" was VERY low budget and consisted of high fat, high sodium food like hot dogs, pretzels, and chips. The wine glasses were like small plastic shot glasses. It took three of those to equal one glass. I don't drink any more than that anyways, but if you're looking to unwind and enjoy a few drinks, don't anticipate doing so with this complimentary beverage card. Also, the pool inside is only 4 ft at it's deepest and is very small. One family consisting of a husband, wife, and two small children basically filled the pool and I would have felt intrusive if I joined them...it was awkward to say the least. On a final note, the free popcorn in the lobby was burned and only a quarter full. Also, coffee was the only beverage served as the fountain machines were down. For this price, I would have gladly stayed somewhere else a little more suitable to my taste.

Our stay in Houston was very, very nice. The hotel was in close proximity to the home of our friend and to the resturant where the dinner was held. This location allowed us to use the feeder road to travel wherever we needed to go without getting on the freeway. It was a short visit, however, the hotel provided us with all the comforts we needed after a busy day and evening. We have stayed at the Drury many times during our travels and have alway found them to be very comfortable. The personnel is always very helpful and accomodating.

The Drury was a great place to stay. The room was spotless, the breakfast great, and everyone who works there was very friendly and efficient. We were very pleased with all of it.

I was in town for a conference at a nearby conference center. The location was excellent, restaurant across the street for late night fun. The room was large, wi-fi worked well and easy to connect. Staff was friendly and helpful. The air conditioner in the room was a little loud but still slept great. I enjoyed my stay and it was a great value.

From the moment I walked in the door to any questions or help I needed I was always greeted with a smile and everything I needed. Couldn't have asked for a cleaner room or more pleasant people. Even the other guests all seemed happy and enjoying themselves. This was a completely enjoyable stay with the night before showing up at midnight after a long flight and the hotel I booked had no room for me and just handed me a sheet of paper and told I could stay at another hotel. Really a great feeling when you have never been in the city before. So when I changed cities and I found such a welcoming group of people I was more than happy. GREAT JOB!! Looking forward to seeing you again for my next trip to the area.
