If you are te planning to hang out in Kemah, then it serves its purpose, otherwise look elsewhere. Breakfast was a joke and the hotel looks run down. The rooms have a fresh coat of paint but it still feels old. Run of the house type Days Inn.

This hotel is in a great location if you're interested in visiting the Kemah Boardwalk. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel was easy to get to and the staff was very friendly. When I went into my room, it was humid and warm even the the air conditioner was set on 69F. I lowered the temperature to cool off the room, however even after several hours, with the a/c set at 65, the room still wasn't very cool. The only other issue was that the television/cable was not clear. This was a true issue for me because I wasn't in the room too long, however, for future guests I hope this gets corrected. Overall, my stay was very nice and I would stay here again.

Overall the hotel was really nice. Good price, good location and very reasonably priced. Only down side was the lack of water pressure in the shower, and reserved room with queen beds but beds were actually only doubles.

We stayed at the hotel enroute to catch a cruise in Galveston. It was near the Kemah Boardwalk which we had heard about but had never been to it till now. The hotel seems relatively new. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel had an indoor pool. Great value for the price!

I have stayed at this location several times and my family and I will be staying there in March for spring break, I have always enjoyed my stay. It's just this stay I really needed a late check out but was told it couldn't be done, so I do think that is something Super8 need to consider things do come up. Other than that I would recommend Super8 Kemah great place for couples & families.

Rooms are very spacious. Everything very clean. Mattresses great. Great room for a good price.

The wifi connection was horrible. The free breakfast was pitiful. Rooms were average. Beds were okay. Showers had mold. Hallway smelled like smoke and it was non smoking. It was not the best but not the worst either. We spent all our time outside the hotel anyways.

The room had many problems and the staff was very rude and unhelpful. A few of the problems were that it smelled of urine and cigarette smoke (supposed to be a non smoking facility), the blanket on the bed had short curly hair in it, two shades on the lamps in the room were very broken and barely hanging on, the shower curtain rod was broken, and the remote and phone were both broken. I have never seen a hotel room in this kind of condition and I would never return. I tried to get a refund and was told by my travel company that it would take 5 business days to be returned to me. I did not have enough money to get another room for 4 days during our vacation and this forced me to stay in this hotel. After having a great deal of problems communicating with the management I was able to change rooms to one with a few less problems.

Horrible. We had a major leake in the restroom. It was the tolitte every time it flush water gushed out from the tank. We told the front desk on the date of arrival and nothing was done. On Saturday the hosekeeper came and look at the restroom and stated will inform the manager and will either correct the problem or change our room in the meantime the put rags on the floor to asborb the water. On Saturday night around 6:00 pm the front desk did not know anything about calling the manager in regards to the situation. He stated he would contact the manager. He called the room back within ten minutes and stated we needed to use the restroom downstairs. My wife went downstairs and stated she was filing a complaint. One hour later maintainance came up and correct the issue but apply a washer.

Hotel is nice, with a good location. However, I was drawn to this specific location because of their indoor pool & spa, which we chose not to use because neither was heated. Kids were disappointed. Staff was nice but couldn't replenish their breakfast bar because they didn't have enough in stock. Room was nice but they only give you 2 tiny pillows per bed & the room had a musky odor.. & the odor in the mini fridge was so bad my husband gagged. But, it was one night & we were tired... didn't spend much time there.

The rooms were awesome and very clean. The beds were comfortable, The breakfest was not good, I would recommend going to a fast food place or a Ihop, When my friend and I went down to eat there was no milk and the staff weren't about to get any for you. The staff were very hard to understand. I had to make the man at the front desk to repeat everything more than twice and he gave me a nasty look for the rest of our stay. We did get to swim in the pool because the pool closed at 8, which most hotels I have stayed in stayed open til 10.

I booked this hotel for the Thanksgiving holiday. It was close to my sister's, close to the boardwalk, easy to find, easy on the holiday budget, the staff (seemed to be family run) was very nice, and the hotel seemed new and was very clean. My only surprise/disappointment was that the indoor pool wasn't a heated pool. My niece was still in it every day, though, so it wasn't that cold! I'll stay there again next time I have to go see the family.

The overall stay was satisfactory but the walls were paper thin and we could everything from the next room which made ir hard to sleep.

The included breakfast was very limited. Not worth staying for. Luckily, not far from the Boardwalk or IHOP.

The main reason I chose this hotel was the indoor pool and spa. I wanted to have something to do if it rained or after we were out in the heat all day. I was completely disgusted when my daughter and I went to get into the hot tub and noticed brownish grey goo stuck to the sides of the hot tub and floating on top of the foam that formed when we turned on the jets. It was really gross. We decided to try the pool, but it was very cloudy and just looked dirty. I notified the front desk and the guy said that the pool people come once a week on Thursdays and since it was Sunday the pool and spa was dirty from the weekend crowd. I guess that was supposed to make it better. The next day it was rainy and we weren't able to do the activities I had planned and I didn't dare get in the water, so we ended up finding a movie theater and trying to make the best of it. I would not recommend this hotel unless they get the pool company on a more regular schedule.

We asked if there was any rooms on the top floor and was told no and was put in a handicapped room that didn't have a bath and was in the back of the hotel. One of safety locks on the door was broken and there wasn 't any documentation in the room regarding the amenities. We found out that they had breakfast by going to the lobby and seeing it and it was very poor. The staff didn't tell us anything and we didn't get a receipt or told what our total was. Will not go there again [...]
