I went to the hotel at 10am (check-in opens at 2pm) hoping to check my bags. The lady at the front desk told me that although the room I'd reserved wasn't ready, she'd be happy to check me into a different room. I was upgraded to a larger room than I'd reserved, at the back of the property where there's no street noise. The lady at the front desk was extremely polite and made sure I knew when the lobby closed, how to let myself into the building with my room key if the exterior door was locked, and how to access the wifi both in the lobby and in my room. I ended up in a double with a teeny portable fridge, just the right size for keeping some drinks cold. The en suite was indeed minuscule, but I already knew about that from other reviews so it didn't come as a surprise. The bed was a little harder than I prefer, but more than comfortable enough to get a good night's sleep before my flight. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a budget place to spend a night or two before a departing flight from Heathrow (and will probably stay there again in the future myself), but I don't know if I'd recommend it for a longer stay.
