It's peaceful and relaxing for a week long vacation, close to everything like stores and activities, also the hotel so close to ocean that's we can hear the waves all day and night. It's a nice place to stay to relax with a good book and enjoy the beautiful view of both sunrise and sunset too.

Our room overlooked the ocean and was a spectacular experience.

Things have changed since my first stay here (9 years ago) now there is a cleaning fee and if you want clean towels, you must pay $10 for each set. If you want the sheets changed you pay for that too. All this on top of the $139 cleaning fee. I do not care for the added costs but the good outweigh the bad.

Very very pleased with the room had a great time I will stay here in the future

It was nice all together but they do not have ac. Which depending on the time of year could be hot. Also they do charge a cleaning fee of 50-120 depending on how long you stay. Also they do not come in during your stay at all to clean or give towels. But if you know these thing before hand it is a nice place to stay.

Hotel was in a great location and walking distance to several great bars, food places, stores etc. Was also real close to other top resorts and right on the beach. Only complaints I have are that there is no AC (was a bit stuffy in the room) and the pool/hot tub area closed rather early (9 or 10 PM). Otehrwise, was a perfect spot for a great spot!

Market, shops, fast food steps away. Staff was very polite on check-ins and out. both rooms had full bed, and queen size. Sofa sleeper. Party of five, two to each bed , not as comfortable however, ok. The unit had two separate balcony, open to one bedroom and the other to the living area with , oceanfront unit, Kitchen equip. I would stay here again.

Awesome place for the price, enough room for everyone and it had everything we needed.

It was close to our event. Would have loved to have air conditioning due to the heat. Overall was a good experience.

The location was amazing. The only thing that I did not like was that the housekeeping service never cleaned our room on the day they were suppose to. I was there for 5 days and the front desk said that on the 4th day they would clean our room, It never happened. It also had no AC in the units and was very hot throughout the day and night.

the staff was very friendly and the condo is next to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world!! We would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to visit Maui. It was very convenient for all the activities we wanted to do.

I had an amazing time in maui at the Paki Maui. I spent a total of 10 days and I have never felt so welcomed by staff and other guests. Everyone was very friendly and outgoing. (I am a 22 year old female and I was traveling solo). I would not recommend this resort to a family with children because it is a very quiet atmosphere and there isn't much for children to do on the grounds. Although there is no actual "beach" in front of the hotel, there is a beautiful public park next door with a great, sandy beach to relax on. The lounge chairs provide a perfect vantage point to soak in a Maui sunset in all of its glory, complete with the islands of Lanai and Molokai in the distance. I spent much of my time snorkeling off of the seawall and sunbathing on the beautiful green grass. I was not expecting much from this hotel but I was blown away by when I received. Outstanding condo for your money. Bed was comfy and the unit was very airy. The kitchen and appliances were a bit dated but they served their purpose. There are great local restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, and flea markets within walking distance of Paki Maui. The only complaint I have was the amount of yardwork that was done early each morning. It was pretty loud but other than that it was wonderful to wake up to the smell of blooming plumerias every morning.

The hotel was a good value for our money for Maui. The carpeting and mattresses and box springs and bed linens are in dire need of replacement,....at least in the rooms we stayed in!

Great place to place and conviniently located by the ocean...

perfect and reasonable getaway nice location big rooms

For the price, this is a good option. It is a very basic hotel, that was clean and safe with friendly service. The bed was comfortable and there was wi fi in the room. This would not be the place to stay if you spent a lot of time in your room, but if you are just using it to sleep and are gone all day, it is a very good choice. But it was disappointing that there was no air conditioning.

The paki maui was kind of a joke. The front desk agents never smiled. The maids never cleaned. The pool is packed with kids. The beach is all rocks. I will say the location is wonderful, and the weather was great. We had breakfast outside everyday on the patio. We went to costco before checking in so we could cook in the room. The dishes were not clean and smelt bad. Our dishwasher was busted, so I asked them to check it and they never did. I asked for maid service and I'm not sure if I'm confused about what maids do. But they did nothing. Like they didn't even make the bed or take out the trash.

Booked this room for three days before our timeshare week because it was reasonably priced for Maui $130.00/night. Well you get what you pay for!! All cushions on couch had large holes in the fabric. Curtains had holes in them. All the furniture needed to be replaced. No air conditioning, no blow dryer. I went to the front desk at 5:30 one night to see of I could get towels and an extra pillow only to be told by the rude girl at the desk who was on a personal call when I arrived that housekeeping was gone for the day and she couldn't help me. She acted like I as bothering her. Never will stay here again!

We booked our reservation a few months in advance for 9 nights. The check in process was smooth and professional but we were given one of the worst locations in the complex - dark unit right on the main walkway to the beach with no privacy unless we kept our living room curtains closed! The kitchen had been renovated recently so the appliances were new but the utensils were very limited and there were no items left from previous tenants so we had to buy everything we needed. After three days, I spoke to Lisa in the office about moving to a better unit when one became available. She ultimately agreed to move us to an ocean front unit on the fourth floor for our last three nights. What a difference it made! The unit was better decorated and had bright sunshine and the constant sound of waves! The first bed was too hard and the second bed caved in the middle so they both could be greatly improved. The kitchen package was just barely sufficient for a couple who enjoy cooking in. The knives were particularly bad and we had to use the can opener from our first unit when the one we had was totally useless. The kitchen sink didn't drain without running the garbage disposal but it was fixed promptly once I reported the problem. The barbeque area is very nice with thermidor grills but the electronic starters are broken and you have to use a hand held lighter to start the grill. The pool and hot tub are very small but functional. There is a very small sandy beach at low tide with a low wall that blocks the waves. There is a playground right next door for children to enjoy and the Farmers Market is across the street from the playground. There are several restaurants in the area as well. We found the location to be ideal since it is midway between Lahaina and Kapalua. The staff was very courteous and customer centered. We enjoyed our stay but felt that the units were overpriced.

This hotel is filthy. our Condo had mold in the bathroom , and the kitchen. Geckos running around. The staff was very rude and not helpful. We will never stay here again.

Aloha..Thank you for sharing your concerns with these resort fees. One of the main benefits staying here at Paki Maui is that you are only paying a one time cleaning fee versus paying a daily resort fee like most hotels. The condos have laundry facilities on three floors and pool towels are available to you. Many changes have occurred and so far it's working out great for most guests. We hope to make your stay more accommodating during you next visit.
