Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous. Restaurant (coffee shop) lovely, but pricey. Hotel common areas were lovely. Room a bit small, but fine for one night.

Friendly staffs- check in and out process were quick, they helped answering my questions, opened the door for you all the time entering or exiting the lobby. Room- spacious and clean. Bathroom- clean and amenities all included. We would stay here again.

I was assigned to a smoking room initially so had to ask for a nonsmoking room. The receptionist was happy to assist, but the second room was still a bit smoky. I asked for another change and she obliged. It was another upgrade - a much bigger room and no extra charge for an extra bed. The third room was still a bit smoky, but better than the first two. I asked for two electrical plugged-in air fresheners along with a firm pillow, and house keeping was great fulfilling my requests. The Italian restaurant served good food. I spoke to the new deputy manager during breakfast on the day of departure and said how happy I was with everything.

We stayed at the hotel during the 2 days of the Nida typhoon. We had the buffet during our stay. My daughter got the food poisoning (stomach flu) and had to go to the emergency room. We very ate the same food but she ate some of the crab and clams. I believe those were the suspects.

The air conditioning didn't cool toe room very well, it temperature was uncomfortable. Additionally, the wet bar was not fully restocked everyday. Overall, it was a beautiful hotel !

Very nice staff and clean, luxury hotel. The room was on the small side, but good value for the money

5 min walking distance to avenue of the stars and has a great view of the hongkong skyline. There are 2 Starbucks nearby and it is a close walk to the MTR station. Good for business meetings.

Disappointing hotel. Looks good in public areas but was put on 16th floor. Lifts only go to 15 and then dirty, untidy stairs to 16th. Work including drilling, banging going on through the day and although the room had a 'letter' to occupants advising of noise, in practice the noise was immediately above the room I was in and was intolerable. I could not hear the TV, could not hear my wife on the phone and eventually had to go out. Whilst I understand that work needs to go on, the hotel should not locate anyone in rooms so badly affected. Then if they do, they should not be charging the full, expensive price. From a good location, a very disappointing stay

I enjoy staying at the Royal Garden because I love the area and restaurants that are within walking distance. The rooms with the views of the harbor are beautiful so I suggest you request one when booking. The restaurants in the hotel are fabulous, especially the Italian one. The rooms are clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. Some of the downfalls though are that there is no spa, the carpets needs to be replaced, the smells in the lobby's & hallways are horrible and there always seems to be loud construction but I never see any renovations. It's time for this hotel to be updated otherwise there are many other hotels in this area for the same price that will get my business.

I have stayed at the Royal Garden on many trips to Hong Kong. It is a fine hotel, well ,located with excellent amenities. Recently, its Chinese restaurant received one star from the Michelin Guide.
