We (2 adults and 1 child) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. First the check-in process was very slow, and when we arrived at our room, we realized that we were given a smoking room without being informed during the check-in. When I called, I was told that I did not make a special request for non-smoking room and hence they were not able to accommodate our request for the first night. However, the description of the hotel did not mention a special request has to be made for non-smoking room and we were not told during the check in. In addition, the staff handling the request was very rude, almost sounded like we were troubling him. Overall a unpleasant experience.

free phone, clean room great location . perfect for a short stay

Business trip. Very convenience. Good location. Hotel staff polite. Restaurant is good. Would recommend to friends.

Good hotel in a good location for eating out, shopping and taking the MTR. However, the hotel need improvement on their Wi-Fi access. We stayed in the 20th floor with little or no connection. So, I have to go down to the lobby to get a good connection. The bathroom plumbing is very slow to drain. Every time we take a shower or use the sink, it holds the water for a several minutes. Overall, I recommend it for family travelers with limited budget.

Very good stay with three small exceptions: 1. slow wifi 2. room safe wasn't working and 3. treadmill in the fitness center is a little worn

I was excited to stay there until I went to my first assigned room. It was a smoke-free room filled with smoke, so they gave me another room. The second room had hair in the bathroom, and they assigned me to third room. This room was supposed to be newer in condition, but I believed it was overused already. I saw the fixture around ceiling lights in two different areas was about to fall off. I was certainly surprised and the noise level was rather great since I was closed to the elevators and the first room from the corridor to rest to the rooms on that floor. I also told the reception that the Wi-Fi was not so good, and they gave a individual router in my room and a technician came to my room to attempt to fix the ventilating system. Overall, I was not so please with the experience, but the reception staff was impeccable.

Great hotel and location. Booked a standard room and was upgraded to an Empire Club suite. Arrived at the hotel 4 hours early and they allowed us to go to the room. Love these Guys

Awefull, no space, no WiFi, dont recomend. The room is tiny and the wifi is not working.

The room was compact, but it had everything I needed. My one complaint is that the pillows were way too big and too firm. I called and asked for a smaller pillow after the first night, but they only had the one kind. Otherwise, a pleasant stay in an area with lots of Hong Kong personality.

the hotel was ok but the shower was clogged and i complained and they said they were going to fix it and never did.

Great Location, Staff was much more helpful then I had read in past reviews. Clean, nice lobby and dinning. Walking distance to all of Tsim Sha Tsui. Next stay, I would have breakfast and internet included in a package instead of Ala Carte. Over all nice and clean and Good value. (Bring your own CLOCK)

Reception staff were helpful & friendly, as were the doorman & bellboy. Breakfast was good.

We attendend the 2010 Internationla Jewellery show at the Hong Kong Convention Center, just 2 MTR stations away from this hotel and at night we have a plenty variety of international restaurants just across the street. Supermarkets, drug stores, fruit marts, everything within a hand reach. Also the Ferry terminal just 5 minutes away.

Fantastic location! Lobby is pretty but not enough seating if you're waiting for people. Staff is not too helpful especially if you don't speak Chinese. They seem to be ready to always say "no" to your requests. Now for the room, although it was relatively clean, they only straightened up and didn't vacuum. I stayed 5 nights and requested sheets to be changed, but could tell they were not. Walls were stained. Shower stall was not cleaned. Shampoo and bath foam were not replaced each day. So if you need more, hide your original stash! Hair dryer was only a hot air hose with no handle, so I had to wrap a face towel around it to be able to use it. TV is mounted high near the ceiling, so the only way to watch is lying in the bed. Pillows are extremely soft and requesting a 2nd one didn't help much. Nevertheless, if you just use the hotel as a pit stop, you can't beat the location for the price!

shopping and eating

Good stay, a little long walk to MTR but overall we were pleased.

The hotel was okay, location is not bad, noisy because you can heard sounds through the wall.

This was a great place to say for the price. It's close enough to Nathan Rd and the MTR and a short walk to the history and science museums. I actually stayed at two hotels while I was in HK, this one and Kowloon Hotel. While the other hotel was closer to the MTR (the station was connected to the hotel), this one had much more room and was a little nicer due to little details like heated mirrors so they don't fog up when you shower.

They charged us for the internet which I am going to take up with you.
