Rambler Garden Hotel

We stayed here for 1 night only. As you know, hotels in HK are known for being small so be prepared to stay in a box-like room. Don't expect so much. The toilet is also very small but at least they have the basics - compli water, toothbrush set, hair dryer. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. There is a frequent shuttle bus going to Kwai Fong Station / Tsing Yi Station and quite near to our planned destinations - Disneyland, Tung Chung Station for the Cable Car, and Mongkok area. If you have no other choice, you can stay on this hotel. But if you don't mind paying extra then please do yourself (and your companion, if any) a favor by booking a better hotel for a more relaxing holiday.

First time travel with family on my son 2nd birthday 🎉.we enjoy staying at this hotel for the view on our room 25 floor😬 At the ground floor basement with lot of shopping boutique. Watson, even 7-11 stores😋 oh BTW we enjoyed rolling around Disneyland. Tour into a town near our hotel.thumps up👍🏻🤗

I love Rambler Garden Hotel because it is situated in a quiet and green side of Hongkong. I've read a lot of reviews before  that the staffs here are rude and snobbish but I never experience that they were so accommodating and perhaps because of not having enough English they are perceived as one. The hotel is near to MTR, Disneyland and to the airport which I consider it  as the best transient place in Hongkong. Since it is quiet far from the main city they have restaurants, 711, souvenir shops and a grocery store on the lower base of the hotel. Over all, I enjoyed my stay here and I will surely come back.

The hotel is located in tsing yi so this is near in mtr station thru minibus 88f. Near also in kwai fong station thru minibus 88g. Minibus terminal is located in rambler crest and exit A at tsing yi station. This is near on the cargo vessel and working 24hours. Hotel structure is good with 30 floors. 5 elevators are working. 4 of these are intended for 1st to 30th floor while the other one is 1st to 5th floor only. Resto, grocery and souvenir shops are in the first floor. Cafe de coral has good quisine for asian people. Price is high but that's expected in hk. Rooms are small but this is fine with me as i'm in hongkong for travelling around the country. The room we booked has 2 single beds. I like the comforter and pillow. This is the same comforter used in 5star hotels when i stayed in other countries. There is a tv but CRT, electric kettle with 2 cups, EU plug outlet (don't forget to bring) and old split aircon. No complimentary bottle water. Internet is available only at the lobby. Good that we bought sim card and really works good.CR is fine with blower, bath towels, tissue, dispenser. There is dispenser for shampoo, conditioner and body wash -all in one. Luckily, i brought some stuff of mine so i never used that hotels dispenser. When we entered the room, it smell like a cigarette smoke. I reported to receptionist and immediately took an action. They just sprayed an air purifier so you can still smell that cigarette and i hate it.. All in all hotel amenities is fine with me. I stayed there for 5d4n with free hkd20 breakfast voucher for cafe de coral. I paid only php5999 package including rt airport transfer and half day city tour. what is the downside? PEOPLE... PEOPLE... PEOPLE... I felt i was not welcome in hongkong. Receptionist looks grumpy and not accommodating. I thought thats her attitude but seems like 90% of hongkongers are rude and arrogant - the cashier in resto, tour guide, seller in outlet. Another thing, be patient when you see chinese people. I like the hotel but these people ruin it.

The first thing that happened after checking in is that the elevators were over crowded, the elevator was showing overload well people are still trying to squeeze them self into the elevator and it took us around 20 minutes to get up to our room. The rooms were horrible!! Our room was dirty and the bed was rock solid, my girlfriend woke up with bruises on her hips. We called the front desk and complained and all the did was send up a thin blanket to sleep on, which did not help. We paid 2900 Hong Kong dollars for 3 nights which had breakfast included, which was one cup of coffee, apple and a dry roll that's it!! This hotel is also very far from all the attractions. I will not recommend this hotel neither would I stay at this hotel ever again.

The hotel is basic in all many ways. Just so disappointing that the rooms don’t have free wifi tho it was stated in the site where we booked that its available for free, imagine your stay for 3 nights without internet connection. We needed to stay in the lobby because free wifi is only available there. Room was clean but too small. Toilet was clean and the hot shower has strong and relaxing. But overall, it was good experience for budget traveler like me.

The food are nice and really satisfying (if only you have a budget) i dont get why some are disappointed two thumbs up for the cafe :) I hope they can be more accomodating to travellers though and all in all I really like their food and how fast they serve it in line.

I wanted a hotel for a long layover in hk and come across this hotel. For the price I was expecting not a very neat and clean hotel but everything was above my expectation. Don't get me wrong, the room is tiny but for my purpose it was perfect. I also email the hotel to see if they can accommodate me given my flight schedule and they were very quick in responding!

Rooms are very small, good for an overnight stay. Quite far from the tourist attraction. Hotel staff not friendly enough and doesn't care for your request. Poor facilities maintenance, not much TV channel for choices. The view from our Room is sea side port that has lots of busy moving cargo van which sore in the eye. Not relaxing hotel, it is really budgeted hotel and you will get what you pay for. Better look for city hotel, with same rates but better facilities and services.

Had an early morning flight, so this was a good choice, although not the best. It seems to be frequented by rather loud mainland tourists and there is no wifi aside from the lobby Room is fine. In fact, it had a nice view of the city, which was more than expected. There is a small Park N Shop in the basement where you can get fruits, water, etc. Taxis are constantly running through the Rambler Plaza complex, so it's easy to get one, even at the earliest hours, but it's actually cheaper to stay in central and take the airport express.
