Prudential Hotel

3.5 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

This hotel is located in the same building as the subway station, which makes it very convenient. But the first two days, we didn't even need the subway because so many things we wanted to do were within walking distance. The room was clean; we chose the two twin bed options. Beds would be considered "firm" in the United States, but that's how we like them. The room had a mini fridge and an electric tea kettle.

Nice view at the top, quick access to the subway and downtown area.

Overall, this hotel is 5 stars from me! Staff are nice and helpful. Room is clean and with Wifi which some other hotel does not have or need to pay for it.

Price is too high for this three stars hotel, we give this one for a C+ rating. The towels are smell. The cleaning are so so but acceptable.

Clean, well located hotel, but way smaller than pictures, old and with terrible beds.

the room is not comfortable and small, the staff is nice at all.

Prudential Hotel is extremely conveniently located, right above the MRT station and adjoining a shopping center. Lots of local eateries near by .7 mins walk to Tsim Sha Tsui . Our stay was comfortable, Hotel was busy but it was reasonably quiet in our room at 11th FL. 7/11 is just around the corner .

The hotel is located near a lot of shopping areas . The train station is just across the hotel making it convenient to commute around hongkong. The room is clean and decent. The only thing is the staff especially the porter on the ground floor can't communicate well in English . Overall a decent place to stay and a good value for your money..

Great Location, only thing that kind of discourage me to stay hear again is there is a fee for in room WIFI, free WIFI is only at the lobby, where there is only a small area for sitting.

Rooms are clean with basic amenities. The location can't be beat. The subway exit is right below the hotel, multiple bus routes in front of the hotel. It's also surrounded by restaurants and shops. If you look for convenience , this is a great choice.

The rooms are clean as expected, location was great due to accessibility to the subway system.

I often travel through HK and it never fails, booking at the last minute when you don't have a confirmed schedule always ends up with a challenge. The hotels in HK are famous, depending on the event in town- posting prices at any level for less than $100 to well over $300 for the same room no matter which day. In this case, the hotel in my opinion was over priced and no where near the value considering the location. I could not find the shuttle to the Airport Express and the staff could care little to explain it in detail. I took a taxi.

The location of the hotel was in Kowloon right above a mall, which was great and the Jordan Train stop was in the same building, which was a plus. The hotel itself was okay. There was "free" wifi, but only in the hotel lobby, which was never stated in the amenities. The bathroom was dated and the beds were hard.

Location, staff, room were all average. Some disappointments included wire-less that was supposed to be complimentary from web-site ad was extra. Also took more than a day to get an electrical adaptor,

Near the shopping area.. free shuttle bus... and also near subway...

Good location, very convenient to take bus or subway, but airport shuttle bus has no stop here.

The Prudential Hotel is located away from the heavy tourist venues near the by the harbor.. The attractions near the hotel offer a better value for shopping as well as dining. Nearby venues include the Night Market,Jade Market, Bird Market and the local street food market stalls.....all within easy walking. Additionally the lower level of the hotel building complex has a very unique Japanese Raimen Food Court serving Raimen from different regions of Japan. The price was very reasonable considering our stay was at the end of the Chinese New Years. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy your stay!!

The hotel is not far from the Night Market or the TST area. The hotel is starting to show it's age, especially in the bathroom.

I stayed in the most basic room, so that may be why the room was not as nice as I expected. Beware though, as the hotel does charge $300 HKD for Internet, where most hotels in HK provide it free of charge. The rooftop pool is closed during lunchtime and by 6:30, so don't expect to use it if you are traveling for business.

The location is excellent but for the same/better price, you can get another hotel with the same amenities and location with FREE internet.
