Wonderful location for star ferries to wanchai and central. Breakfast is very good, and in my personal opinion, dimsums are even better than crystal jade's.

The hotel is located close to the ferry, train, bus stations and malls. The breakfast was a bit expensive considering that the food variety was not even good. Pointed for a bowl of noodle soup tomthe chef and watched him use his bare hands tomget a scoop of noodles and vegetables-did not even use gloves or tongs. I ended up not eating the noodle soup. Some staff also do not speak or understand English, they had to point us to a staff who can help us. The hotel and rooms were clean. Compared to other hotels that we used, Marco Polo needs some updating.

Got a great deal on a club-level room. Talk about an amazing experience! The service was excellent. Food, drinks, everything was done at a high-caliber level. Add to that a great staff and wonderful location. We would return without a doubt. They catered to our every need. Club level is quiet, and perfect for those traveling without kids.

I don't like this hotel. The room smells of cigarettes smoking badly! Luckily we stayed only for one night The only thing good is the location which is close to the Cruise Terminal any shopping are

This hotel gave me a perfect starting point with Access to the city center, shopping, restaurants and transportation. Plus it was a wonderful hotel.

Marco Polo has a great location in the Kowloon shopping region near ferry terminals and other transportation. They also gave me a free cellphone to use during my stay. It was a great way to economically see Hong Kong for the first time.

i have stayed at this location before, good service, good location, good room.

strong smell of perfume throuhout the hotel, as if trying to cover a tobaco smell which sometimes comes through. Unhelpful registration staff. Situated in noisy area of HK. Good breakfast choices.

Overall a pretty nice hotel. The location was perfect because my office is in Jordan, just a quick walk through Kowloon park. Especially enjoyed being so close to the star ferry over to HK island. Cons: The check-in process is extremely inefficient and the business center does not open until I think 8 or 9....They would not open it early at 7.

pretty good so good it is nearby harbour city so sweet

Great value for the suite we had. Half the cost with twice the space of other hotels in the area. Great location to shopping in Hong Kong. Staff was generally very helpful. Our suite had plenty of windows for natural lighting. Unfortunately the views were obstructed by other, unattractive buildings. And the hotel elevators are you by mall shoppers so prepare to wait for a lift to your room during busy times. Besides the minor inconveniences, we had a great stay and would recommend the Marco Polo to anyone.

very nice location, just 20mins long from airport to hotel.

I love this hotel. The location is perfect. We upgraded to a deluxe room in the continental floor for US$90, which was totally worth it. It came with a bigger room, free breakfast, free tea and crumpets and all the stuff that comes with it (2-4 pm), and free flowing drinks and appetizers (5-8pm). It was so worth the $90 because it took care of pretty much most of our meals. You can also check out other restaurants, but since I was in HK to shop, this place was perfect. The room was awesome. Clean bathrooms. Towels smelled fresh and not bleaches. Towels were also thick. That's important. Shampoo and lotion etc was QUERCUS, which is one of my fave luxury brands. From now on I'm only staying at the Marco Polo Hong Kong hotel. Oh, and in the Continental Club floor, they check you out there as well so you don't have to go to the lobby to do that. It was all so convenient. There's a shuttle to the airport express but the Elements mall is so close by it's easier to take a cab. The free ride stops by several other hotels before you get to the mall so it's kind of a hassle. So just cab it. MTR is also really nearby. Pretty much outside the hotel.

In the morning! None of the hotel employee know how to say Hello or Good-morning to customer! Service attitude impolite, at one time, even asking me whether I am living in this hotel or not, hardly helping customer handling luggage. Privacy Security is worst, hence, one of my business friend attempt to allocate which room I stay. The hotel employee in the front desk simply release the information without asking any question to a stranger. While the time we are check-out from the hotel, the desk clerk attempt to withheld our cash deposit without release it. Wiseguy type to play dumb with their pay quest in hoping that we may forget to ask the money back. Hong Kong is a busy city, most people are working 12 hours on their job, however, it is not a good excuse to treat someone who is visiting here.

The Marco Polo has a great location for shopping, restaurants and access to ferries that take you to Central and Macau. The room was much larger than expected and had a great view looking over the harbor. The staff was always very helpful although the concierge made a bad call regarding a restaurant (Partly my fault as I waited until Saturday evening to find a place).

Very clean hotel, nice staff, great view!

No any suggestions, but I almost need the sauna.

great and well located that is why we always wanted to stay there.

Was on a trip for family matter, and needed accommodations for a single night. Location was the most important deciding factor for ease in meeting up with others. Amenities were decent with respect to typical US hotels, so cost is reflective of location/possibly view. Will depend heavily on your priorities in getting bang for your hard-earned buck in these economic times. Am a frequent traveler to HK.

To me, the location is what I need. But in general, this is a good hotel to stay for the price of this year.
