PROS: Lobby is modern and area is quiter part of city which i prefer yet still within the city. Lots of great local fav restaurants. Staff were polite. CONS: similar to other reviews the design of the room are awkward. My problem with the room was smell of mildew and mold from the air conditioner and separate air purifier. It also didnt help that it leaked water onto the dirty carpet to make the smell worse. We told two front desk people to change the filter but nothing was done. They changed our room but also had same smell. We asked if they could open the window to let the room air out and they said no because it was locked with no keys. We got the executive room and its very small for two avg adults and two suitcases. The sinks are humanly impossible to use without getting water all over the bathroom cos its tiny. We are staying for 6 days as part of wedding so stuck here. But advise mgmt to replace carpet with tile to help with dampness, change AC and air purifier filters and allow guests to open the window.

Great location, close to MTR. Very reasonable price.

I picked this hotel because it's close to Victoria park and the metro. It's a very short walk (<5 min) to the metro station and every morning we ran to the park. Close to the Causeway bay district as well, just to the other side of Victoria park. The room is OK size for two people, if you add a cot it's probably too small. I was on a lower floor (5th floor) and the walls are well insulated that I don't hear the traffic noise below. There is also a coffee place in the same block so convenient to grab a coffee in the morning.

Hotel is very close to the MTR and has a variety of local restaurants nearby to choose from.

Small room. Lousy internet. Close to mtr. Overall good stay.

Just great! I love how convenience the location. less than 2 minutes walking distance to MRT station. Food and restaurant everywhere closeby, even got a 24 hours McDonald's on next building. And most important, CLEAN! Enough space for storing your luggage. Free Wi-Fi that actually works! We bring my 1 years old together and definitely a memorable and enjoyable trip. Highly recommended!

The rooms are tiny even with HK standards. Two elevators serving 30 some floors so wait was common. great staff though. they really go the extra mile to help you with your questions. they also lent out mobile cellphone chargers free of charge, which is a great amenity. location is also prime. close to tin hau station.

This is my second stay at the Butterfly at Victoria and both times I have been impressed with the friendliness of the staffs as well as the cleanliness of the place not to mention the within walking distance to the nearest MTR exit and the abundance of restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Very clean,great location,staff extremely friendly !

Room is very very very small even by Hong Kong standard. All windows cannot be opened and see thru. Means all the rooms are basically wrapped by a white present paper with no view AT ALL. It was a nightmare....literally..

I am staying at this hotel more and more lately. It is consistently a great value and the staff are top notch. Yes, the rooms are small, but they are comfortable and clean. If you are a business traveler in and out of Kong Kong, this place is worth a look.

I am a frequent guest of the Butterfly hotels in Hong Kong. Mostly this one and the one on Pratt in TST. The rooms are small, but the internet is fast and free, the staff is great and the bed comfortable. There are a few outstanding places to eat nearby and it is a short walk to the MTR station. Good for business travelers only needing an overnight or a few nights. If you have a group, well, the room is compact and you may be a bit crowded.

The hotel is clean and convenient, but the room is too tiny.

A good choice, close to the subway and very clean. Not a luxury property but just right for a short stay. The rooms are small but that is the norm in Hong Kong.

The room was really small, but very clean and comfortable. Even had a nespresso machine :) We basically just slept in the hotel between flights, so can't comment on the area, but seemed accessible enough. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, but it is tiny.

This hotel has small "cozy" rooms for a fair price (paid an average of 64 USD/night combined weekday and weekend). The best thing about it is it's only a 3 minute walk to the Tin Hau subway which is only a few stops away from Wan Chai, Causeway, and 4 stops from Central. You can also get on the double decker trolley easily from this location. Yes the room is small and anyone with big pieces of luggage might not find enough floor space but it should be OK for those traveling light. There is a nice Sony flatscreen for those who care. For late sleepers the blind provides complete darkness which was appreciated. One negative is that even for a small room the sink is just way too miniature and anyone with lots of toiletries will find almost no counter space. That and the shower door doesn't block all the water from seeping out.

It is only like 2 min away from Tin Hau MTR station, and near victoria park. There are lots of great restaurant near by, and places for local snack. Right across street there is bus to airport. The hotel have great staff for service. Room is clean and nice, there are even butterfly decoration on bed and flower pillow to hug on. Only thing I didn't like was the room was quite small, the design of bathroom door make it hard to walk in. Overall it is very good and valuable, liked the stay there.

Good location near to train station & arround with restaurants...

I stay 2 nights, before this was butterfly on Morrison, I found that this hotel walking distance towards MTR are much closer than Morrison (even though Morrison is closer to Time Square), if you plan to stay near causeway bay and shop nearby time square then choose Morrison, if you just need a hotel nearer to MTR then pick Victoria. It has good coverage on wifi signal and speed is awesome compare to Morrison!
