First off, location is not great...not close enough to MTR to walk comfortably with luggage and nowhere for taxis to stop. The hotel next door seems to have better services/amenities (name was South Pacific?? ). Maybe it's the area, but the streets also felt very dirty compared to other touristy areas like Mong Kok and Tsim Sha Tsui. We got a free room upgrade, which was nice of them. It was on the top floor and had an ok view of surrounding area. But the room was sorely needing updates. There's odd stains all over the carpet. Evidence of water damage on ceilings. All around the room were floor to ceiling windows that must've caused a lot of condensation because the fake wood sill/platform was damaged everywhere. This platform was dented in many places and looked like it had been duck taped together with matching dark brown tape. The pillow cases and sheets had faint stains on them. Some towels were yellowish, I guess from too much bleaching. There were no plugs in the bathroom for a hair dryer. In fact, there were very few plugs in the room overall. I had to unplug the lamps by the beds to charge my phone. I assume it was the best room type they had, being the top floor. I wanted something close to Holiday Inn Express, but it felt more like an outdated Super 8.

It could be better if the staff offers information to the hotel guest. Like provides where to eat, shop, sightseeing, transportation and how to communicate to the front desk. The room is clean and compact if you do not mind. Either the Internet service is bad or the free cell phone is bad, keep dropping calls.

Good location near Times Square and MTR-station. A great value for money at least when booked well in advance. The room was clean and spacious enough. Free mobile phone with a city guide was also a nice feature.

Hotel was great, well priced, convenient, not far from the MTR and Times Square. Staff was friendly.

Very nice place and affordable place to stay easy access to everything..I will be back again

I'm in Hong Kong for one day trips. The hotel staff here were very friendly and eager to help with directions, providing cool water, a room upgrade, coffee hose and restaurant suggestions. The Apple computers in the lobby are a great benefit as s the free wifi. The cold air in the lobby hit me very hard coming in out of the hot weather. It was borderline painful. Other than that a very pleasant stay.

Based on the price I paid, this hotel way exceeded my expectation. My husband and I only stayed in HK for one night so we prefer not to spend too much on hotel. We picked this hotel because of the price and also the location (it is just a few min walk away from Times Square). The staff are friendly and upgraded my room without I even requested. The handy service is another good selling point even I didn't have to use it, it is a very good device for traveler to carry around with free internet service and local calls. Overall, this is a very good hotel and I will definitely stay here again.

In the heart of WanChai, close to metro and in a safe neighbourhood. Small but well appointed rooms, very clean, good service, quiet and convenient. Would not stay here if wanted to spend a lot of time in the room (due to size), but great for a not too expensive base for exploring HK!

I stayed here when I traveled by myself to Hong Kong. I did a bit of research before picking this hotel and wasn't disappointed. I arrived extremely late in the night (or shall I say early morning) and upon arriving was told that the regular room I had booked was all full capacity at the time so I was bumped up to a big corner room. For one person this was a lot of space. The room was very nice and clean and had plenty of space. There were plenty of amenities like converters, hair dryers, hot water maker and tea. It was a slight bit of a walk to the nearest train station, but not really much of a detraction there. Would definitely stay here again the next time I go to Hong Kong.

Butterfly was perfect. Easy to get to, nice rooms, great service and helpful reception. I would recommend this spot to anyone visiting. It's simple and priced right. Enjoy Hong Kong!

The staff/service is very nice they are willing to help as possible. Location is accessible. Amenities could be better but it's good for use.

very close to sogo and time square for shopping, brand new hotel

We have stayed at the city view room. The vies of the city was not as it is shown on the hotel pictures. And one side of the widows was covered with blur film. So it was impossible to see the view. The other side was just not like the pictures. Too bad..

Nice boutique hotel located less than 5 minutes walking from Causeway Bay shopping area. Clean rooms, friendly staff.

I had a great stay as it was close to everything I needed.

Im a frequent traveller to HK and always have been curious about the wellington on Morrison ...the ratings have been high so I gave it a try ... The first thing that I realized was the Speed of the lifts ...even they have 2 lifts for this building , you really dont wait much for the lifts ... Once I entered the room I saw that you could open the top of the windows which was another plus as I like fresh air in the room ...I headed up to open 1 of them and I saw that they didnt clean the window frames I guess for a year ...it was so dirty that I really cant describe it ...If someone from the hotel is reading this , I really suggest them to check it out ... 3rd thing is that you need to close the curtains as there are 2 buildings so close that everybody can see what you are doing in the room , so there is not much privacy at all .... anyway to keep it short , the rooms are old and not well cleaned ...also the floor is carpet which is also not so clean .... Will not stay here again ...

Every where in this hotel is small; lobby, room, bed and bathroom. The soup holder in the shower area is broken. When I reserved this room, the Internet stated that there is a dvd player but I couldn't find any when I stayed there!

The hotel is in a good spot, easy to get to the subway, bars, shopping. Really close to everything. However, the hotel pretty much is a bathroom, and a bed, no other amenities. For the price, it is still a good value. Only thing is that if you get really bad weather, like we did, it was not the type of place that you'd want to spend time in on your vacation. For a pretty good place to sleep while you spend all your time sight-seeing, it is totally a great value. Cleaniness is barely acceptable.

good hotel, great location, every floor only four rooms, special room design, etc.

Ok, but construction outside didn't make a good first impression. Staff was helpful and friendly, but I really needed to know an accurate taxi rate, and the with the info i was given, I was barely able to come up with fare for the taxi to the airport, but luckily, I put a little extra away and had some pocket change. Plenty of shopping in the area and we found a nice park and Times Square. Train station is very close by. The room was very small and got a little freaked out when we saw the electrical plug ins. Don't panic, they have adaptors. Not the impressive city view we had in Tokyo, but the shades keep out the view. Decor was nice and modern and I did like that.
