My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Mr. Tucan's very much! We were there for 11 days and can't wait to return. We loved the staff. The breakfasts and coffee were amazing! I highly recommend a stay there. It is one of the best locations at West End!
The location is great somewhat noisy but we knew it was a popular spot the noise all dies down about midnight though so not too bad. I do recommend not booking excursions through the hotel as they are very expensive you’re better off booking directly through place where you want to go.
Everything was perfect for the Reasonable price I paid for my stay. All the staff members went above and Beyond including the owner which I met. Wendy is amazing she helped me upgrade to ocean view via what’s app. Cynthia waited 2hrs at the airport for us due to delays. The. Hotel has an amazing coffee shop downstairs with amazing breakfast and food. Beach is right across the street and beach chairs are provided. To top it off I forgot my bracelet in the room safe and the staff was kind of enough to call me and send somebody to drop it off for me at the airport! Just amazing people all around. No complaints!. Highly recommend.

The staff and the location are fantastic. Rooms are very basic, bugs are very bad, the room are not at all sound proof and the smell of the people smoking on the patio easily drifts into your room. I enjoyed my stay but we regularly were not even given beach towels, they literally never changed our wash cloth. It’s just very basic, that’s all but it is in a very good location and the staff will carry your luggage your chairs etc. Go and have fun, but with realistic expectations!! Cheers!
Mr. Tucan was a very good experience. Wendy greeted us immediately and showed us the property. Our room was cleaned daily. The hotel is in the perfect location to walk to restaurants and excursions. Our favorite part was the FANTASTIC included breakfast at Bean Crazy next door. The only down side is it can be a bit noisy because of its location. I will say it makes for great people watching though!

The property is conveniently located in the middle of Wesr End, close to so many restaurants and best of all beach front! Really nice place, we'll definitely be back soon!
Pros: You're right in front of the beach and within 1 min from the dock to take boat to go diving & sea fishing. It's not crowded as the other touristy area of town (West Bay Beach). You get to blend in with the locals. Cons: Limited parking in front of hotel b/c of busy street. But they are working on the parking lot behind the hotel
