We decided to book this hotel because of the great discount offered on agoda. The room doesn't look like on the photo. It was clean but old and there were stains on the wall and bathtub. There was some bad smell in the room upon our arrival as well. From our room, we can only see rooftops of other houses. The lift was old and suffocating. However; the location is amazing. It is easy to get around and get access to city center. The service was nice. Staff was friendly n always tried to assist us as much as they could.

We were recommended this hotel for location. First impressions were OK - helpful reception staff with a good bar/restaurant area. The rooms however are very basic but provided everything we needed for good value. We were in Ho Chi Minh for 4 nights and considered upgrading to another hotel but tried a few and they were all booked so decided to stay. The pool area is ok - as is the upstairs bar area. Breakfast was fine - what you would expect. Our room was at the side of the hotel and very quiet. For us this was a good base for exploring the city and near lots of bars and restaurants. It's not a 5 star hotel but for what we paid on reflection was excellent value for money.

Hotel looked tired and dirty, room small and tiny bathroom. Felt really unclean, toilet leaked and sink was cracked. Towels and bedding didn’t look clean and could do with throwing away. Only one power socket in whole room, when moving bedside cabinet found rubbish and dust. Common areas felt dirty and untidy with cleaning materials just piled up. In busy location and window does nothing to stop noise from below. Wouldn’t have stayed any longer even at the cheap prices. Pictures don’t reflect actual state of the place. Shame as probably was lovely once.

Was very hard to find ,I’ve stayed in places half the price in the same area that were above and beyond this place ?, breakfast was sub par .the city view deluxe verandah was a very tight squeeze over looking the neighbours bedrooms lol , hey all in all place isn’t too bad if you were paying 20/25 night but for 50 aus no good

This hotel has some mixed reviews, but I found my King Balcony room very comfortable, The bed and pillows were soft and very comfortable Linen and towels extremely clean and soft. Room was clean and bathroom also, with a shower automatic setting was quickly warm with toiletries provided Walking distance to Ben Thanh market or Bui Vien Street. Was quiet and off a little lane from main toad that I didn’t wake to any morning traffic noise. The breakfast was probably not to the westerners liking but Asian travellers seemed to be loading up their plates and seemed to like the variety. For the price I found this hotel good value and don’t know why some say otherwise.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Arrival to our room was different. There was no cold water in the shower or the sink, the toilet didn't flush, the toilet roll holder was pulled out of the wall and it we had to ask for toilet paper 5 times and waited 6 hours as we were told the cleaners were coming before I got over it and grabbed some from the cleaning trolley on my way down to reception. When you ask reception for a taxi you need to wait at least 20-25+ minutes. I ended up walking into the street and calling one straight away. Not worth the price, plenty of other hotels nearby. Staff are friendly.

Was not like the pictures at all. Hotel was grimey and very old. The rooms weren’t cleaned properly and the sheets were yellow stained. There was also a leak in the bathroom. All applicances were very outdated and a gross closet. You could hear the music from the street the whole night playing. Elevators were creepy. Only good thing was the staff was nice.

Initially told my room was over-booked, I was upgraded to the "VIP floor" on 7, I was a touch excited, but that soon evaporated when I looked around the room, to find ill-fitting cupboard doors, an aircon unit that struggled to manage the job, a poorly maintained shower room, which due to its position in the roof space, I couldn't stand up in to use the sink, with a window that wouldn't shut properly and let much of the street noise in. The 2 lifts are only slightly slower than taking the stairs, and the roof pool with bar, does not have a bar, and looks like it needs a clean. On the plus side, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the included buffet breakfast is one of the best I've had in the area. It's in a great location, so stay if there's a good deal, or wait until they fixed the place up a bit.

The place is old and falling apart with surly staff, and it is too close to Bui Vien Street which means it gets noisy at night. If I knew what I now know, I would have booked at a different hotel. For your trip to Ho Chi Minh City, stay elsewhere.

This is not a 3 star hotel! This is a 1 star hotel....worse than a hostel. If I coule give a zerostar review, I would. We booked a medium priced room and when we saw how disgusting and small the bathroom and rooms were and were NOT like the pictures advertised, we had no choice but to upgrade to their VIP room which cost us an extra 1.5 million dong. ($100 AUD) Rooms were very dirty and old. Safes did not work and request to fix was not addressed even in the VIP room. Breakfast was crap and did not even have basic fruit. Bread was stale. Rooms not cleaned properly and the house keeping are THIEVES! They stole from our bags and when we questioned where our belongings were they said they were not found in the room. They also advertise that they can store luggage, but the luggage storage is a corner of the reception which has direct access to the street and anyone can enter and steal belongings. We paid for 2 nights in a room EXTRA...another ($100 AUD) just to keep our luggage safe and we STILL had our belongings stolen. Disgusting experienced and we felt dirty staying there. TRAVELLERS BEWARE!!! Trip advisor NEEDS to update the star rating on this hotel to 1 star and have pictures updated as it is misleading!!! I wish I took photos to show the horror conditions of thos sh*t hole.
