Highly recommended that it's a good distance to the main market and the night market. Comfortable and looks like its newly refurbished. Lotsa Muslim eatery joint around this area. Enjoyed my stay there for 3 nights was very convenient with 24 hrs stores around the corner.
This my first trip to Vietnam, I stay in A&Em corner hotel for more than 2 days. Location is good, near many attraction places, shopping mall, and a lot of halal restaurant. Hotel interior is average, looks like no interior design concept. But, the service (room service and cleaning service) was not good. Seems like they never been trained n hospitality and how to make up/ clean a room properly. This is a very basic for hotel industry... Overall, score 3 ( out of 5). Not so recommended.
A hotel is for sleeping and relaxing after a long day, so when you cant do that because of the noise outside I am not sure how a good review is possible. I visit Vietnam around 3 times a year, I always stay in a different hotel as I have not found a perfect one yet, every hotel in the past wins hands down to this one though. The Bad: 1. I used ear plugs to sleep but even then I could still clearly hear the car horns, you could say this is not the fault of the hotel as its a busy area but the windows have no seal around them, there are gaps around the edges so they could certainly make the room much quieter if they improved this, its like sleeping with the window open. 2. The bed - you can feel the springs - not comfortable at all. 3. No plug point by the bed 4. Coffee - this is vietnam, they have great coffee so why is your only choice a sweet nescafe coffee over breakfast? 4. breakfast below average. The good. 1. Location - although there are many hotels around this area to choose.
Definitely a good location where you can walk to Ben Than in less than 5 minutes. Many restaurants and shops within the vicinity. Do not expect the staff going the extra miles for guests. The room is nice but the carpet are not clean properly.
I would like to give THUMBS UP for the hospitality. The staff.....great service, friendly and helpful from front to backstation. The bteakfast is so/so. Locstion is good...near BT market. Nice restaurant w easy listening music. Will come back again! Keep up the great team spirit!
I have nothing nice to say about this hotel except that the bathroom is beautiful. Management can contact me as I don’t want to tarnish this businesses reputation too badly. I will say to my TripAdvisor family please read this hotels reviews carefully before you book. I would also like to note I am Vietnamese and this is my 10th time in Vietnam and I have had a lot of experience in hospitality here...
I visited this nice hotel in desember 2017 and I was very satisfied with the stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly and polite. This hotel have also a good location if You want to stay downtown Ho Chi Minh City.
We stayed here for 3 nights. Rooms were a little tired and quite small, however the location made up for any room shortcomings. So central to the market, food court and many other attractions. The pool and pool bar were a fabulous way to relax after a busy day and the breakfasts were great with a good mix of Asian and western options. Staff were also fabulous.
I know this is good location, but for $110/ night I don’t think A&em provides the services they charged for. The room super small, the outlet totally not working ( too old I guest), room smell mold, and it’s dirty. I know Saigon is expensive place but with $110/night I expected more than this! I won’t recommend neither come back A&em. And I feel like the receptionist need to pay attention to customers more instead staying around and talking.
I have stayed here on 3 different trips to HCM. The hotel has been updated recently and is in the middle of everything. So close to BenThanh Market and my favorite, the BenThanh Street Food Market and 4P's Pizza!!! The rooms are small, but I hardly spend any time in the room. The rooftop pool is usually not crowded and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I have had in Vietnam! I will continue to stay here every trip as the location, breakfast and cleanliness of the rooms cannot be beat!
