This hotel is exceptional - I would give it 6 stars if I could! The room was beautiful and traditional, the location great for exploring Miyajima (especially at night once the island was less crowded), and the sushi dinner was some of the best sushi I've ever had in my life. In particular, the staff went above and beyond in being extremely welcoming, accommodating, and friendly, and they made this the most special experience of our trip to Japan!
The property was much better than I expected. The shower room, bathroom, and bedroom were a bite more spacious than I expected. Everything was meticulously clean.
The hotel staff was very welcoming and served us a refreshing beverage when we arrived on a hot day. The hotel has shared single-room bathroom and shower separated by gender, and nice traditional floors with tatami beds. The location was a little out of the way from the port, however, and involved a 10-15 min walk of us dragging our luggage through some of miyajima's sandy parts on a hot day. Nonetheless, the facilities themselves were pleasant, clean, and commendable, so I would still recommend.

Volveríamos sin duda además la isla es preciosa. 10/10
