Court Hotel Hiroshima

This place was a great location, close to the main shopping area, walking distance to the dome and memorial park. Friendly staff, good size room for Japan and a view over the river, at a very reasonable price compared to some rooms we have paid for on our trip here. As I have mentioned on other reviews here, charging your phones, and other items are a challenge, most hotels we have stayed, lack more than a couple of outputs. To sum up, great place, good location and a reasonable price, definitely recommend this place if you visit Hiroshima.

Visited this hotel 21-23 July follow-on to Mt. Fuji visit and was not disappointed. Superb location to many areas in./near downtown Hiroshima - not far from Train station and not too far from Peace Memorial and other sites. As to the hotel itself, I was concerned after my first experiment - but that hotel was pretty good. Small, clean rooms (consistent with Japan), check-in process smooth and overall pretty good experience. Front desk very helpful with maps & info for places to eat, things to do and public transportation options which were plentiful and relatively cheap. I wasn't big on the breakfast provided - but that's just me and I prefer a more western/American type and being in Japan - so don't hold that against them. I think I paid about $140 a night or so for two twin non-smoking beds. Not sure if that was a great value overall but it was what I could find on relatively short notice! Front desk and staff spoke enough English for us to get by - but I need to learn more/better Japanese as well.

Location: This hotel is located on the River and we had a river side view, which was excellent. Whilst a little walk from the JR station, by Street-car not so far. Service: Excellent staff on site. Hotel: Very Clean, 9 storey facility with a breakfast area down stairs. Pay for B/fast the night before fore Y920 and not the Y1100 in the morning. One can eat all one needs. Rooms: Clean, comfortable. Facilities: Coin laundry, vending machines, including alcohol. Local sites: Local sites near by if walking and or via street-car. Supermarkets: The local Family-Mart, Lawsons or 7/11 convenience site which the locals use constantly nearby and prices quite reasonable.

This was a nice, quiet hotel. We had a lovely view across the river. There was no breakfast. It was an easy walk to the entertainment district and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. As with all rooms in Japan, it's small. But comfortable and clean.

Very cheap and really good location! 24 hour desk was helpful because of arriving late. Staff were polite and helpful. Our room was a little small but that is expected for Japan. The hotel is right on the river and if you get a room with a river view its very refreshing. Its about 10 minutes from the Bullet train station and a nice walk to the peace museum. Definitely would stay here again!

The hotel it's very old as you can see from their furniture and the feeling I had. The price it's reasonable because situated in good location not to far from the shopping area, train stration, and the war memorial park and museum...

We had a bad experience there this week, this was our fifth hotel and by far the worst. It was a very hot day & the air con only blew hot air, the Manager came up and explained it could only do hot or cold and for winter it was turned onto hot. It was 25 degrees outside and we had sweat pouring off us and all we could do was open a window and endure the very noisy street noise all night. Plus miniature and dated bathroom and only one plug in entire room. Would never stay here again

Room is comfort, but the temperature in the room was too hot. We asked at the reception to lower the temperature but staff at the reception speaks only Japansese, and they tried to assist as they could, but no communication. Breakfast is mainly Japanese food Centrally located, in a quiet road, close to a tram station

It's a decent hotel about a mile from the A-Bomb Dome and museum. Very good location and reasonably priced. The wifi works well and toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, and razors are available in the room for use.

Good sized room. We had had twin room which was one of the bigger hotel rooms we had in Japan. The location is walking distance to lost tourist sites in the city. The room was too warm even with the air conditioning on, but overall it was good value.
