hotel room was clean, but dresser in room could use refinishing. Also, the microwave was just plopped on top of the refrigerator instead of a proper shelf.

Don't go! In need of renovation, equipment malfunctioning in room, like the microwave.

Noise was coming from the ice machine that sounded like a jet engine..

Arrogant staff, tremendous lack of customer focus.

We stayed her while vistong valdese. Hotel met our needs. Front staff was less than expected.

Worst experience i had by far staying at a hotel. Started off with the front desk lying that the room they give me was a king suite. Turned out to be a double full but still refuses to refund me the difference in cost of what the you charged me (king suite) and what they give me (double full). The bed was so small and uncomfortable, plus the stupid AC was making noise as if it was going to blow up so I could not turn it on and I was in NC in July so it was super humid & hot.. I will never at this hotel ever again..

Staff was friendly and willing to help out. We arrived very early in the morning and the staff was kind enough to leave breakfast out a little late to accommodate our sleeping in. :-)

Clerk at check in was very nice but the one at check out was rude. There was a broken window in our room. Remodeling is in progress.

The Days Inn doesn't have any bells and whistles but clean and comfortable.

5 day stay for a festival in the area. very good trip.

Music Festal (Red, White and Bluegrass) was great! Too bad the motel ran out of breakfast most mornings and the air conditioner leaked making the carpet wet.

The hotel is rather unclean and smells like an old restaurant. The rooms have refridgerators-there was black mold on the one in my room. The front desk didn't check any ID when I checked in and there are very few amenities. It is not even worth the money I saved here.

Not the usual friendly and cooperative staff at most Days Inn. Every time (at least 6) I passed through the registration desk, the staff was off in a corner sitting in plain view and it seemed to be an interruption to ask for service. There was no one at desk at checkout 9:30 am so we left keys on desk after 5 minute wait for someone to show up. Plumbing did not flush and no remedy given. I saved $15 on this reservation but not again!! Fitness room consists of a treadmill, stationary bike and an elipitical (which was broken and not in service). The dining area consists of 3 tables, one of which is where the employees break area is and seems to be frequently occupied. No internet service.

Check in was very cool towards us. She was also still there when we checked out in the morning. Breakfast was just fair.

The bathroom was a little dirty. I tried naming my own price but was rejected. Ended up paying over $80.00. I paid $47.00 (with tax and fees) for 3.5 star hotel in Charlotte the night before I stayed here.

We did not spend much time at the hotel.

The Extended Stay Asheville was very comfortable, the room seemed much larger than most with a desk area and a table and two chairs.

The Days Inn and Suites in Morganton was the perfect place for me to stay while there on a 3 day business trip. Of course, Days Inns aren't known for plush accommodations, so I wasn't expecting plush. What I got was a very clean, comfortable room in a quiet location in the hotel. I liked the inside corridors and felt very safe coming in late at night. The continental breakfast was standard fare and nicely fresh. The location was right on the interstate and even so, it was adequately quiet. The best thing, however, was the absolutely WONDERFUL staff, particularly the desk clerk. The desk clerk, went out of her way to be kind and friendly. She seemed to take a personal interest in my comfort and satisfaction throughout my visit. As a matter of fact, I can't remember ever being treated quite so well, even if fancier hotels. Morganton is a great little town and Days Inn and Suites is my home away from home the next time I return there!
