Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Loved the staff. Especially Larry. A true inspiration. Loved his personality and his attention to the guests. Don’t let him slip away 👍👍
Even though construction was being done was very clean and quiet
The entire property needs a refresh. I thought it had been built in the late 1970's or early 1980's. I was surprised to learn it was an original Holiday Inn Express less than 20 years old. The elevator was really dirty and really slow. Liked: the lady at check in--very nice and professional. Also the man that was the evening desk clerk, also very nice and professional. The location was very convenient.
Good
Nice place. New mattress and couch. Friendly staff. Only complaint was it took 20 to get eggs or a biscuit.
There Were no towels In the room And when I asked For Some was Told They were out. Was Never given towels our whole stay
No good clean service in the room, we have to let them know about it and then they clean
In town for a funeral and this room added to the stress. The Wi-Fi was non-existent in my room, yet, in my sister's room, Wi-Fi worked fine. Wi-fi is important here as it is unlikely you will have cell phone coverage. No closet, which was fine, however, the clothes rack collapsed after hanging a few things on it. Maintenance apologized and said that it had been installed incorrectly, so our funeral clothes had to be draped across bed and chairs. When we followed up later at front desk, was told that maintenance staff went out for part and had not been seen since. Sheets had stains on them when we first arrived. All of this at approx. $130 a night. This is a small town and there are not many choices for lodging. I should also add that I travel often for work and have stayed at Holiday Inn Express before with very pleasant results. Problem appears to be with this particular facility.
The hotel was very quiet, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was great - bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, etc plus cereal, fruit, bagels, waffles, cinnamon rolls, etc. The beds slept good. We were close to the music venue, which was at the fairgrounds, so it was very convenient. Having a microwave, coffee maker, fridge, and mini-sink in the room was so nice.
Just a quick getaway for overnight Hotel was nice, did need some minor cosmetic work for an executive suite. Beds and room very comfortable. Had free cookies in lobby, hot breakfast next morning. The only downside were walls are very thin. We could hear tv in next rooms even though sound wasn't loud. Great restaurant 5-6 miles on main road, (Brothers at Willow Ranch) and economically priced. Staff pleasant.
Located in a beautiful setting with gorgeous views of the mountains.
It was good! A nice stay. Good staff, comfortable, good location.
I must say I was quite impressed by the staff and facilities. The upgrade was an unexpected surprise!
Recently my wife and myself decided to visit .this GA. Town From the local hotel reviews we obtained,we decideded we would stay 17 miles to the north in the town called Hiawassee,we were very impressesed with the new hotel..it was very clean and the breakfast was wonderful...the only draw back was the acute winding roads and elevation more or less scared my wife so much so that she sat in the back seat through the mountains.
