Stayed for a couple of nights to visit Harry Potter studios with my daughter as it is a short drive away. We got a nice greeting at reception and an offer of help with our bags as there is no lift and we were on 1st floor. When we arrived the room felt chilly as there doesn't appear to be central heating in the room. There was a little electric radiator which we plugged in and used throughout our stay. We used the pool once and it was clean and a good size. We had breakfast once and that was very nice.

From the point of the first phone call to enquire about booking a wedding to checking out the day after our event; the staff at the hotel could not have been more helpful, professional or dedicated. We chose to get married in the Noke Lounge, followed by our wedding breakfast in the Burston Suite and our evening reception in the Marquee. Every detail and plan was followed meticulously, by our event planner; Hannah and then our go-to Operations Manager;Craig, who worked so tirelessly to make our day perfect. We were honestly made to feel we were the most important event this year, which is something I am sure the amazing staff do for every person organising an event. I would highly recommend this hotel for an event of any size, but definitely for a wedding. Thank you to all at The Noke for making our day, a perfect wedding day!

Stayed here on a recent business trip. The location was great for what I needed. The hotel is only 15-20 from St Albans City railway station. My room (108) was a good enough size. A little dated I guess and could have done with being a bit brighter but good for the price. I did use the fitness area which was good although only one treadmill was working properly and it sounded like it needed servicing. Overall equipment standard was good. It did have a pool and sauna's plus other facilities although I didn't try those out. I ate in the Oak & Avacado Bar also. The food was good and well presented and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was the normal hotel hot and cold buffet. Again a good selection and overall very pleased. Overall a good stay at a very reasonable rate. Would certainly stay here again.

Had a great stay, hotel was handy for London, Harry Potter and Luton Airport. Was disappointed by the noise of other guests, who were a school trip. The breakfast was not good, we both felt ill after eating it so only had melon the second day.

lovely gem of a hotel, surprisingly large once inside.plenty of facilities ie gym, swimming pool, adequate parking, nice bar area, varied restaurant menu, comfy ,clean rooms , very nice breakfast and friendly staff. Along with a beautifully decorated marquee for the wedding guests.

I stayed here as a change from premier inn and I can say it was a good gamble. The room was great and the added bonus of having the health facilities made my stay. I had a quick gym session then hot the steam room, sauna and pool of which all were great. Breakfast was good too and all this came to less than the premier inn

Just a great hotel! Rooms are superb and wide. Food is amazing and impressively tasty. 7 mins by taxi to Saint Albans. Their gardens are lovely. Location isnt the best but since the hotel is good u cant complain.

An ideally hotel located just off the M25 and M1. It was chosen to meet friends coming from all over the South of England. A warm welcome at reception, large bar but busy with a wedding party. Great breakfast.

Was looking fwd to staying here but facilities and service was very poor room cleaning was very poor will not be stopping again staff were pleasant enough and very helpful but overall a very disappointing experience

Staff were friendly and helpful - my luggage was carried to and from my room without any prompting and they were happy to arrange taxis into the city (the hotel is a little way out of St Albans but very convenient for the motorway). My room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Nice restaurant and bar if you don't want to venture into town.
