Great hotel, lovely staff. Room was perfect, spacious and clean. This hotel is fifteen minutes in a taxi from Warner Brother Studios (which was ideal!) and five minutes from the INTU shopping centre. Great hotel, will definitely return!

We stayed here 1 night in order to get to the Harry Potter Studio Tours in Leavesden. There is a free shuttle bus that eaves from Watford Junction and this worked perfectly! The included breakfast was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable!

A group of 9 ranging from 5 to 73 stayed at this hotel over the weekend. Having recently been refurbished this hotel was spotless and rooms adequately furnished. Breakfast, although not a massive choice compared to some hotels was more than adequate. Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausages and Baked Bens were on offer as well as a selected on cereals, etc. More than enough to set you up for a eventful day. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. A special mention for Sara on reception who was great at answering my questions. A real asset. Hotel is right next to Watford Junction train station for an extremely easy trip in to London for the day. Conveniently located for Harry Potter Studio Tour. All members of the Party were happy with the Hotel and will definitely book again should we be back in that neck of the woods.

This hotel has been recently refurbished, the rooms and all the public areas are pleasant and really well designed. In the bathroom there is a spacious shower and a really good night-light, you can still use the mirror after a shower and the bathroom door if required swings back to close off the toilet area. In the bedroom there are handy USB sockets by the bed for charging your gadgets, and there is even a complimentary mobile phone with free calls, amazing...! Breakfast is a self-service café style, increasing common in London and again there are handy USB charging points at some of the tables. My only small gripe is the noisy heating and aircon that whirrs away even in the "Off" position, however this was easily resolved with a quick call to the 24hr reception. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Overall top marks to Holiday Inn.

I have stayed twice in this hotel (16 June 17 to 21 June 17 and then again from 3 July to 12 July 17) and loved the place and the staff. It is near to all the important places of the town with the junction just 20 steps away. Rooms are nice, I wont stay out of the world but it meets all your needs. Housekeeping is good and the best part is the Samsung mobile which is kept in the room for guest usage and free calling to almost all major countries. Breakfast is okay and could have been better but the service from the staff recovers it and no doubt the staff is really pleasing and helpful.

Very small negative: they provide gluten free bread, but there's no toaster for it!! Not even in the kitchen!!! Should be easy to fix? Otherwise, this hotel was a nice surprise. 1) Very quiet. We had a room on the far corner from the railway, even so it's only 100m or so away, and facing one of the main roads into the town centre, but very little external noise. No internal noise, none form adjoining rooms (this was Xmas/New Year time and the hotel was busy) and almost none from the corridor. 2) Room kept nice and clean, as were the public areas of the hotel. 3) Staff very polite. 4) Good breakfast, kept well stocked. 5) 100m from the rail station, quick access to London, in oyster area. 6) Close to the centre, but far enough not to attract the yob element heading for the pub/clubs. Majority of customers were families with young children. 7) The "Handy android phone", never seen anything like this anywhere else. Free mobile internet in and out of the hotel and free calls too (UK and some international). Came in, well, handy!

Budget hotel part of the holiday inn group but it can be expensive if demand is high. Parking is round back of hotel - quite dark and you must get a ticket in the hotel and go back to put it in your car or risk of clamping. Right by train station and short walk to middle of Watford. Restaurant was closed one night when I was there, open 2nd night. Good breakfast.

We stayed here while visiting the Harry Potter studios as it was just a two minute walk away and really convenient. The decor was really modern and fresh and the staff on reception were very friendly. We were able to check in an hour early which was good after travelling up from manchester. We booked two twin rooms which were very clean and a good size and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was nice but as we came down towards the end they had run out of a few items, so would probably try and get up a bit earlier next time. Only bad point was the fans in the rooms were quite noisy and seem to come on randomly but we probably should have asked to see if we had set them right. We would definitely visit again.

This hotel is lovely, the staff can do nothing but help you. The refurbishments seem to have finished as we saw nor heard anything. We found our room comfortable and spacious enough for 2 people although the bathroom is quite small. Breakfast was pretty simple but was fine however I couldn't work out what time it ended as our information sheet in our room said 9.30am but it seemed to be still on at 10am. Parking wasn't too bad, found a parking space straight away and cost mr £10 for 2 days. Overall I would happily stay at this hotel again

Like many people, we stoped in this hotel as its convenient when going to visit the harry potter studio. In all honesty the surrounding areas of this hotel are a little of putting and it doesn't look like a nice place to stop on first impressions. However The hotel itself is nice. Clean, friendly and comfortable. The train station is literally outside this hotel and Its just a 10 min walk to the town centre which is also good. Parking cost £5 but once you find a spot dont move untill you need to leave for good, as the carpark is small and you might struggle for a spot at busy times. Overall This hotel is alright for a quick stop of, does a job, and is convenient if going to the hp studio. My only real criticism is that it could be placed in a better position, as it felt like it has been dumped down the back of a dark side street.
