Loved these apartments! The way they are laid out are beautiful - full of interest, Greek pots, amazing flowers everywhere and so Greek in decor. The owners and staff are great, nothing is too much trouble, and we would definitely recommend it! We went in early April, and the pool was open, unlike many others. As there were 7 of us, we rented three separate apartments, and each one had balconies with superb views. Piskopiano is a lovely village , 1km from Hersonisos and between two other charming villages, both easy walking distance. The service was good, sleep quality no problem and the rooms all great (couldn’t add this to information below) Jackie

We have stayed in hersonisos for few days in this marvelous group of apartments up on piskopiano village . The stuff is wonderful and pleasant they helped us to upgrade and have all of our staying in half board basis in the nearby restaurants and that was wonderful. We already arranged to comeback on June with most of our friends.

Korifi Art Suites is an amazing place to stay if you are in the Greek Island of Crete. This was our first visit to Crete, and Korifi Art Suites in Piskopiano, Crete was the ideal place to stay. Looking at the design, Korifi is situated atop a hillock which gives you a bird eye view of the entire locality. The suites are well designed giving you a local as well as a global touch. The village of Piskopiano is just a stroll away and caters to all your daily needs as it has a local supermarket , upscale and comfy restaurants and more than that lovely and friendly people. I was surprised to find out that majority of the locals were pretty fluent in English. The manager of the suites and the care taker,Flora were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make things easy for us. Definitely worth a repeat visit next year!

My Husband and I stayed at The Korifi suites art hotel Sept/Oct this year. As we were planning on staying somewhere for three weeks, we contacted the manager before booking. We were very impressed with the quick response to our email from someone named Nadia , answering any questions that we had. We decided to go ahead and booked a package with easyJet. The flight was good , taxi from the airport was okay, although the driver couldn't find the Korifi, and dropped us off with our two 20 kilo cases , plus hand luggage at the bottom of a very steep hill , telling us "it's up there, not accessible to vehicles!" Luckily I had my phone to hand , and we managed to locate the Korifi, puffing our way up a steep hill, dragging our large suitcases! However as soon as George the manager saw us, he rushed to help us, along with Nadia ( who had answered my emails) Once we had sorted out air conditioning and safe payment they took us to our apartment. As we had booked a superior studio, we were pleasantly surprised to be given an apartment. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the lovely pleasant smell, fresh and clean. And although basic, it was very bright, so many Greek apartments can be dark. It had a small kitchen, with a window at the back looking out to the mountain behind. The bathroom was clean with a small bath, very good shower, etc, nicely tiled flooring, small window, cabinet. A lounge area with two single beds/ sofa, leading on to the balcony with lovely views of the sea , and Hersonissos. The bedroom was delightfully bright , with three window, when walking into the room you could see the sea in the distance, and another apartment balcony with beautiful pink bougainvillea growing up it. The room had a double, and a single bed, dressing table with a mirror. Between the living area and bathroom wa a double wardrobe. The kitchen area had a good sink, a single hot plate, toaster, fridge and kettle, all we needed, as we planned to eat out every evening. We were also delighted to find water in the fridge, and a wine cooler on the table with a bottle of wine. I'm sorry I don't think we remembered to thank you at the time .....so thank you George x. Whilst I was unpacking , my husband went down to reception, and asked if it would be possible to have another couple of pillows, and a few extra hangers for our extended stay. Before we knew it two plump new pillows, plus half a dozen brand new wooden hangers arrived. We got the same great response when the kettle played up a couple of days later, we mentioned it to Flora the cleaner, and before we knew it we had a brand new boxed kettle delivered to out apartment. The first day we were also given a little tour of the areas, and were shown the area for sun bathing, a wood burner which we were told we could Bar-B-Q if we wanted to, and also the pool area. We loved the different studios/apartments, all painted different colour's, and the gardens with pomegranates , palm trees, and the most amazing pink Bougainvillea. The area was quiet and Inimate, at night it had little solar lights dotted around everywhere, so pretty. The pool was quite small and deep, however we had read about that before we booked that it wasn't your typical apartment/ hotel with sunbeds around the pool. However if you wanted to there were numerous pool bars in the area, that welcomed you to use their pools or sunbeds if you bought a drink or snack. As you will have probably read in other reviews, the Road leading up to the Korifi was very steep, and according to which studio or apartment you had there were lots to of steps, but you soon get used to it ( we are no spring chickens) and the view in our option was well worth puffing up the hill. The Korifi is in a great position in Piskopiano, very close to the very beautiful Piskopiano church.( check on google earth) At the bottom of the hill from Korifi, on the main Road, if you turn left , after about a twenty minute walk you will arrive in the old town of Hersonissos. If you turn right you are in Piskopiano, which leads onto Kotouloufari. There are also various roads that lead down to the main town of Hersonissos, which is much more lively. If you book this accommodation you will be spoilt for choice of restaurants, all with walking distance , ranging from little tavernas, to larger roof top restaurants. When it was reluctantly time for us to go home, George the manager very kindly organised our return taxi to the airport, as the log on reference given to us by easyJet didn't work. All in all we had a great holiday at the Korifi, and if like us you want to embrace authentic Greek charm and simplicity, then you will too. We are already missing our little home on the hill!

We arrived at the hotel around 8/9 o'clock in the evening and entered into reception in order to check in. While checking in we were surprised to be told that we had to pay for the air conditioning and had to pay 7€ a night! We were reluctant to pay as we were not previously informed about this but ended up paying anyway as would have been too hot without AC. Despite this, we were checked into our room and guided there by the women working there. Walking into the room we receive another surprise and find that it is very different from the pictures (pretty surw we were given a differemt room), there were also only 4 beds, one being a king size while the rest single and there were 5 of us. This came as a shock to us as we understood that there were 5 beds and booked on this basis. As a result we were not able to share the king size bed and one person ended up having to sleep on the floor every night. Our room had two bedrooms, the first that had the AC, and the second that did not, because of this it meant anyone sleeping or even staying in the room without the AC was always extremely hot and we ended up having to buy a fan for the room without the AC in order to make the stay bearable. Other than the AC issue, the room was missing a couple of necessities such as an ironing board, iron, washing machine and a couple of other things that would have made our time there easier. Despite this we managed without them and anything we asked for, the hotel management helped us kindly with and provided. Despite the couple of small issues, the staff at the hotel were very helpful and the manager helped us by booking a day tour for us as well as contacting someone about hiring quadbikes. This all saved us hassle of having to sort this out for ourselves. Our room finally had a beautiful view of the entire city as the hotel was quite high up so we had a spectacular view of the village that we stayed in and everything below although this did mean long walks up and down the hills. All in all, other than the small issues and the misinformation on the room, our stay was still pleasant and the hotel management were always happy to help with whatever we might have needed.

My review is too harsh to be published. Please people look at rooms before you pay. The pictures here are not what you get Seemingly I cannot say what you do get. Avoid this place I am at a loss who writes these 5 star reviews. Complete Heartache and waste of money ..Find a better hotel in village as that is only redeeming feature the locals and the village ..

The apartments were absolutely beautiful, not once did I see any rubbish or debris around the complex, each building was painted in colours traditionally Greek, with beautiful flowers or trees around the complex. Inside our apartment it was very basic but covered all that we needed. The bed was quite hard and took a few nights to adjust to this. The wifi wasn't very good in the apartment we had, but this wasn't a very problem as we both had large data allowances but it could be quite a issue for other people. Our apartment was cleaned every day and the bed made. The pool was quite deep, and only had a few chairs around it, no sun beds which was quite frustrating but it was clear this was only because there wasn't any room for them. We arrived at the complex late at night and the reception was shut so we had to call the night number, something to be aware off, making sure you have phone battery left. The hotel could do with some sort of information booklet in the room as we weren't informed of the wifi (we were told about this from another guest), the check out time, or the fact there were sun beds round the back, something which you wouldn't of known unless your apartment or room was round there. The hotel is in a lovely position with a supermarket , cash machine and restaurants near to it. A approximate 15 minute walk to the right of the supermarket is the village of koutouloufari another lovely village to visit. A approximate 40 minute walk down to the town of hersonisisos (I think that is the correct spelling) where the main beach is, In my own opinion I felt it was very tacky and the beach was so crowded with sun loungers you felt as if you were lying on top of the person next to you. All in all the hotel was lovely and I would definitely stay again.

Spent 11 days here in August with my family. We had the apartment by the pool which the kids loved. Hotel very well kept - all areas very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly - special mention for Flora! Nice location on hill - supermarket and restaurants nearby. Short walk to neighbouring village and only about 20 min walk to town and beach.

Me and my husband returned a week ago after staying here for 10 nights. The apartments are located very high up which is fantastic for the awesome views but not so good if you find walking difficult! The apartments themselves are basic but clean and the showers are very powerful which is good. We were lucky to stay in one right at the top with a balcony facing the sea so the views were absolutely stunning and the sun was there most of the day. The only down sides are having to pay for air con which would have been 70 euros for our stay. There is a library in reception where you can lend or swop books which is ideal. The owners are so friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you're happy with everything. The village itself is lovely and centrally placed between Koutoulafari and old Hersonnissos which is ideal as there are some amazing restaurants (try Pegasus in Koutoulafari for the best welcome)! We would definitely return here if you want a relaxing stay.

Stayed here for a 7 night stay with my partner. When we arrived we were offered a room upgrade for a couple of days but then we'd have to move back to what we had booked. I agreed and we were given an apartment for 5 people with a balcony. Which had a nice view. The kitchen was lacking in areas. Very basic supplies. But the rooms were clean and spacious. And it was nice to have an upgrade! Thank you korifi! We had the option to stay on in that room if we paid extra. But we decided not to as we were out all day anyway. So it was just a base to sleep. We moved rooms on day 3 into what we originally booked. Again the room was clean , spacious but the kitchen even more basic. Somewhat lacking if you are self catering. Only an electric one ring hob, and a toastie machine. No toaster. The pans and dishes and cutlery were filthy but there was no washing up liquid in the room to wash them with. No dishcloth etc. The staff were friendly and the pool area nice but very small so we didn't use it. Piskopiano itself is lovely. Traditional little village. Great restaurants and a few bars. For a 20 min walk you hit heronissis which is more lively. But the walk back up is steep so if that's a problem a taxi back up can be used ( 7 euros ) The beach we went to most was analapsi. A lot better than the crowded ones of heronissis. Highly recommend taverna Ariandi ! The food is amazing! All in all had a lovely break.
