My review is too harsh to be published. Please people look at rooms before you pay. The pictures here are not what you get Seemingly I cannot say what you do get. Avoid this place I am at a loss who writes these 5 star reviews. Complete Heartache and waste of money ..Find a better hotel in village as that is only redeeming feature the locals and the village ..

The apartments were absolutely beautiful, not once did I see any rubbish or debris around the complex, each building was painted in colours traditionally Greek, with beautiful flowers or trees around the complex. Inside our apartment it was very basic but covered all that we needed. The bed was quite hard and took a few nights to adjust to this. The wifi wasn't very good in the apartment we had, but this wasn't a very problem as we both had large data allowances but it could be quite a issue for other people. Our apartment was cleaned every day and the bed made. The pool was quite deep, and only had a few chairs around it, no sun beds which was quite frustrating but it was clear this was only because there wasn't any room for them. We arrived at the complex late at night and the reception was shut so we had to call the night number, something to be aware off, making sure you have phone battery left. The hotel could do with some sort of information booklet in the room as we weren't informed of the wifi (we were told about this from another guest), the check out time, or the fact there were sun beds round the back, something which you wouldn't of known unless your apartment or room was round there. The hotel is in a lovely position with a supermarket , cash machine and restaurants near to it. A approximate 15 minute walk to the right of the supermarket is the village of koutouloufari another lovely village to visit. A approximate 40 minute walk down to the town of hersonisisos (I think that is the correct spelling) where the main beach is, In my own opinion I felt it was very tacky and the beach was so crowded with sun loungers you felt as if you were lying on top of the person next to you. All in all the hotel was lovely and I would definitely stay again.

Spent 11 days here in August with my family. We had the apartment by the pool which the kids loved. Hotel very well kept - all areas very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly - special mention for Flora! Nice location on hill - supermarket and restaurants nearby. Short walk to neighbouring village and only about 20 min walk to town and beach.

Me and my husband returned a week ago after staying here for 10 nights. The apartments are located very high up which is fantastic for the awesome views but not so good if you find walking difficult! The apartments themselves are basic but clean and the showers are very powerful which is good. We were lucky to stay in one right at the top with a balcony facing the sea so the views were absolutely stunning and the sun was there most of the day. The only down sides are having to pay for air con which would have been 70 euros for our stay. There is a library in reception where you can lend or swop books which is ideal. The owners are so friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you're happy with everything. The village itself is lovely and centrally placed between Koutoulafari and old Hersonnissos which is ideal as there are some amazing restaurants (try Pegasus in Koutoulafari for the best welcome)! We would definitely return here if you want a relaxing stay.

Stayed here for a 7 night stay with my partner. When we arrived we were offered a room upgrade for a couple of days but then we'd have to move back to what we had booked. I agreed and we were given an apartment for 5 people with a balcony. Which had a nice view. The kitchen was lacking in areas. Very basic supplies. But the rooms were clean and spacious. And it was nice to have an upgrade! Thank you korifi! We had the option to stay on in that room if we paid extra. But we decided not to as we were out all day anyway. So it was just a base to sleep. We moved rooms on day 3 into what we originally booked. Again the room was clean , spacious but the kitchen even more basic. Somewhat lacking if you are self catering. Only an electric one ring hob, and a toastie machine. No toaster. The pans and dishes and cutlery were filthy but there was no washing up liquid in the room to wash them with. No dishcloth etc. The staff were friendly and the pool area nice but very small so we didn't use it. Piskopiano itself is lovely. Traditional little village. Great restaurants and a few bars. For a 20 min walk you hit heronissis which is more lively. But the walk back up is steep so if that's a problem a taxi back up can be used ( 7 euros ) The beach we went to most was analapsi. A lot better than the crowded ones of heronissis. Highly recommend taverna Ariandi ! The food is amazing! All in all had a lovely break.

this is a very attractive village location, you have to have transport to make anything of the good local beaches. The apartments are of various standard, we booked through Teletext Holidays and we got the worst room. I negotiated to upgrade to a better room with a lovely balcony. This was 150 euro. We hired a quad bike for 55 euro a day 7x55 ( 385) . The kitchens in the self catering apts are virtually a one ring plug in hob and don't inspire. Buy in for breakfast but expect to pay 50 euro for dinner for two. very expensive option to go self catering in Crete. Staff friendly, swimming pool pathetic and overrun by any family who decide to swim. Could be restful out of season, but it was double the cost of he initial holiday to have any form of good time. So start saving. 4 star? who sets this?

My girlfriend Marine and I spent 7 days here and from the moment we arrived, both the manager and staff were so lovely and happy to assist with anything from the best places to visit with an honest opinion to organising excursion trips to reach the further attractions. Our studio room came with its own outside patio space with a table and chairs to enjoy the views and the room, kitchen & bathroom was well kept and cleaned each morning. The pool area was a great space to enjoy the sun and was also kept clean each day which made it very welcoming. Just a short walk a couple of minutes away is the main 'village' strip which has a convenient supermarket and some lovely restaurants if you wanted to stay close by. If you wanted to venture out further, its an easy 20 minute walk into the main town and beachfront or a 5 minute taxi which will cost about €7 which has a bunch of great places to eat both inside and on the beachfront, along with a lovely looking port/bay. We would definitely recommend the Korifi Suites Art Hotel and will be coming back! Thank you again to the manager and all staff.

Stayed in Piskopiano at Korifi for 10 days last month with my girlfriend and got exactly what was expected, a beautiful quiet hotel with amazing views and friendly helpful service. The room and bathroom was comfortable and well maintained with a cleaner every morning. The rest of the hotel is wonderful with well maintained greenery and a tranquil vibe making for a hugely romantic feel. The manager is very friendly and will help with anything from hiring quadbikes and scooters to organising excursions and day trips. The hotel is located within short walking distance of a small supermarket and plenty of lovely restaurants in Piskopiano village. There are two more small villages in Koutouloufari Village and Old Hersonissos town within 10 minutes of Piskopiano where there are plenty more lively restaurants to choose from. Down the hill (a 20-30 minute walk) is main Hersonissos where a more lively bar scene and the beach is found. Overall we would 100% recommend this hotel, great value for a wonderful experience! It is a nice and pleasent hotel for those who wish to enjoy a quite and relaxing evenings well away from the central area of Limenas (Hersonisos). Am saying this as the central area is very busy with lots of noises coming from the holiday makers, pubs, bars, clubs and the local transport like scooters, quads and other traffic. So we did had a good sleep during the night time. Please bear in mind that if you especially wish to have a room with a good view ( sea view) book it before you go there, as you might face an extra charge for that. As we did. As we stayed there for 9 nights it was essential for me to have a nice view from my balcony. We had a room nr1. which had good size studio type room with balcony kitchenette showers and toilets and a very great view over the city and the sea. We spent many lovely evenings on the balcony, drinking local home made vine we bought from local supermarket and eating chilled a fresh fruits. The pool was literally outside of our room and we could go to swim up until 8pm which was great, apart from that it is not very large and is good for 2-4 people to swim at the same time. So we had to pick our times when it was not full to go and swim, but that's was not a big problem as normally it was free and only few guests where there to swim. Area around had a good choice of restaurants/ pubs / bars which were not far from the hotel. But if you want more you would have to take a 20 mins walk down the hill to make to the centre with all the night life attractions. We have rented a scooter for 6 days for 140 Euros so mostly we were out during the day and were only in hotel during the evening and mornings. In overall I can say that it is a good self catering hotel away from busy town centre. Where you can come after a long day exploring the Crete or sunbathing in local beaches, pop in the local supermarket buy yourself some snacks and drinks and then relax in balcony with a very great view. Or you can take a shower and go to a local bar or restaurant to spend the rest of the day. We did enjoy our staying there.

We (unfortunately) only stayed here for the first two days in our trip to Crete. The service was impeccable thanks to George (owner) and Flora who both made our stay enjoyable with their care and recommendations. Our view from the suite was better than the photos. And access to taverns and restaurants in the nearby village gave us a true taste of the local culture and food. Star beach is also close by, a happening spot for family and teens. Highly recommend Korifi Suites to all.
