Paniolo Greens at Waikoloa Village

My wife and I had a horrible stay in an upstairs unit. The guests below seemed to take a smoke break every half hour on their lanai. The lanai tables say No Smoking on them, but the morons below us ignored that. Called the front desk several times, they said they would send security right out, but did nothing. Vacation in Hawaii, can't have an enjoyable dinner or glass of wine on your lanai or even sleep with the fresh Hawaiian breeze, ridiculous, especially when you close the windows to a stale smell of a room that could use a deep clean and have to pay for AC. The clerk at check-in was very nice, but after that hotel staff was incompetent. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom sparked when we turned it on and did not work.

Very nice condo located in a nice location. Condo had all necessary amenities. The entire staff was amazing and accommodating.

If you want the lovely vacation feel done stay here. If you want expensive and far from beach, stay here.

We are frequent guests here and love it. We are timeshare owners here. It regularly purchase additional days. Golf course is great and we couldn't enjoy a place more.

We were surprised that this hotel suite had everything you need. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, washing machine and dryer, kitchen with washer, dishes, cups, utensils, pots and pans, cooking tools, living room with table and 3 TVs in total. Rooms were decorated tastefully, had a back yard with barbeque grill, table and chairs, picnic table and bench. Two of us did not even use half of the things they provided. The facility even had tennis court and rental racket and balls, as well as swimming pool. Turkey family was walking around and they were cute.

Very nice place to stay. It had everything you need.

My family of 5 comfortably stayed at Paniolo Greens for 2 nights. Laura Ann was the best checking us in! Aunty Lauraann was the friendliest and helpful host! There is a nice grocery store only quarter mile away with great read-made foods.

Nice place to stay if you are willing to drive. It's close to the best beaches in the island.

Highly disappointed, had an awful mildew smell. Far away , everything has to be done by driving.

Third time staying at this hotel when visiting the Big Island. Property is will maintained and has EVERYTHING that you would need for your stay...except the groceries. Management does an excellent job in maintaining the room condition and it seems like new. It is not on the ocean but it is only a few minutes of drive time away. Will stay here again when visiting the west side.

The only 4 star was because the carpet could have been a little cleaner. Because you are midway between the beach and Kamuwela (Waimea, about 2,500 ft,), you are at an elevation where the temperature that is perfict.

Love Paniolo for its quiet location. Rooms are nice and clean and front desk staff and housekeeping are friendly and efficient. The concierge service staff are weird though. A little jaded.

Comfortable and well equipped. Not luxurious, but perfect for a family stay or quiet down time. Good supermarket nearby. A bit remote and not much activity, but easy access and parking. Watch nene geese, wild turkeys, and golfers.

Had a relaxing time in the condo, did not expect what I got. Wonderful view on the patio while drinking coffee and reading. I would recommend to family and friends, which I did! Kudos to the staff in their assistance to get my browser running.

Paniolo Greens was sooo nice! It was really clean and had about 97 of all amenities you would need to stay there, especially for long periods of time. Parking was good since there was a lot of us with cars. Since there was quite a sum of us, we made some nice, but no one can knocking at our door telling us to keep it down, which means that either no one was around our room or we weren't that loud, or the wall or just thick. Either way, it was great and a lot of fun! There also a supermarket super close by so you can get your grill on since there also grill stations. Pool was nice an simple. Great amenities and security. Over all a great stay, more than what we thought it would be and I would definitely recommend it! Great for families, adults, children, and everyone else.

The furnishing and decor were beautiful and definitely tropical, comfortable, and high quality--loved the attention to detail! Super comfy and clean. Very friendly, helpful staff. Great price, too. We just loved staying here, and were sad to leave! It was serene. We would definitely recommend it to others and hope to come back one day!

This was a good experience for the kids.we all enjoyed the property and the coceuire were a great help with activities.

Room WiFi was down. I was very disappointed. We been coming here for years now and never had trouble with the in-room internet before. WiFi was available in the conference room, but that was a hassle. Free snacks and soft drinks eased the pain. We took advantage of the snacks and drinks, but didn't get as much done on the computer. The management promised to have a new network installed in a matter of weeks. As long as they fulfill their promise and install a new WiFi network we will be back. We love this place. It not on the beach, but it is not a long drive some of the best beaches. The higher elevation of the Village makes the climate milder than the Resort.

They have plenty of space and the room can hold a family of 4-6. So very cost effective.

I always stay at Paniolo Green Resort for some days when I travel in Big Island. It's near by Waikoloa village shopping center. The only thing that I don't like is the grass cutting or some ground work around or before sunrise time at the golf course. We were waken up not only by the noise of the work in front of the window-door, but also by the smoke , when we stayed at the ground floor apartment. We were told at the reception that the resort doesn't own the golf course management....other than this golf course noise, it's a great place to stay. The hotel stuff is very very friendly. The apartment units are well maintained and well cleaned.
