Novotel Suites Paris Rueil Malmaison4.0 out of 5.0

Rueil Malmaison is west of the Paris city center. As long as you don't mind an RER ride into the city, then this hotel is a bargain. It is modern, clean, well-appointed, and in a good neighborhood. Rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The bathroom features a separate bath tub and stand up shower. The lobby serves as a bar, grocery, and cafeteria. Breakfast includes everything you could think of while maintaining a particular French flair. This is one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had, anywhere, and I highly recommend it!
You usually don't expect a whole lot from French hotels but the Novotel is definitely the exception. At a reasonable price, a well laid out room, modern fittings, clean, air conditioning, and an excellent buffet breakfast usually included in the room rate. We were very pleasantly surprised with the whole experience!
The rooms were comfortable enough and clean. The service was precisely good and the people around were hospitable. No nearby noises it's quite a very good place. There are reference restaurants where one can dine which are good as well. they have some snack parlour where you can easily get light eats like cakes, crisps etc.
This is my first time staying at a Novotel hotel. I have traveled for work several times but this is the first time with my current company whose travel agency had this hotel on their recommended list closer to our office location. Surrounding Area: It's definitely in a commercial area - don't expect to find nightlife, lots of shops and restaurants, etc. For my purpose it worked due to proximity to the office and its amenities. Amenities: Due to the time zone changes, I was up very early in the morning on the first day, so the in-room espresso was a welcome option before the breakfast area opened. There is a small market area where basic foods and beverages can be purchased, and the small bar/lounge area is a nice option for an evening cocktail. You will have to venture out if you want a decent meal and there is no room service. Luckily for this trip it wasn't needed but if I hadn't had group dinners or a coworker traveling with me I would have been disappointed to find room service wasn't an option and I'd have to venture out by myself. Rooms: The rooms are spacious by Parisian standards. The bed is comfortable and the swivel TV makes it easy to see from anywhere in the room. The only odd thing about the room is the floor in the toilet room - it seems like it used to be a shower as the floor has the shower feel and creaks and groans. I would rather have a normal tile floor as it is loud and throws me off every time I step in. Even on the highest level the room fan is very quiet, so if you are like me and need something to drown out the noises in the hotel make sure to get an app for that. It wasn't a loud hotel, but you could hear water running from nearby rooms and scrapes across the floor above. Front Desk: Front desk is very nice and thankfully each person I spoke to had some level of ability to communicate in English - so if you are relying on your high school French classes (as I am), you can still communicate what you need. Overall: a decent hotel and not terrible for a couple days' stay for work. However, I have been here on vacation/holiday, and would select a different hotel closer to restaurants and attractions if I were to be on that sort of trip.
Staying in this hotel quite frequently as it is quite close to our Headoffice. Finally they opened a small food shop so you get something to eat finally in case you do just want something ti eat after a hard day beforr you get to sleep. Rooms are still fuctional but large. What made me really upset is that they offered a rate for over 20% more when trying to book over out company account. Also I will not compain about the breakfast as they will never change. Overall I had a good time mainly thanks to the very kind staff.
Once you enter the reception you feels like it's a small supermarket! Small reception but with a very good hospitality, clean and spacious room, has not all facilities' supplies like flip flops, toothpaste...etc but yet I enjoyed my stay.
Stayed here with my family when visiting west of Paris. The rooms are large and include a small kitchenette (sink, kettle, coffee maker, microwave, fridge). Bar downstairs very convivial with free snacks one night per week (Tuesday ?), plus I think some other events planned for the guests. A nice change when away on business for. A length of time. Be aware though the only practical option for food in the room is either microwave meals from downstairs, takeaways, or cold snacks... don't expect to cook and don't expect plates and cutlery in the room.
Quality for money. Rooms are very big and can easily fit families. Kids breakfast is free. Easy to visit Paris from here without being in the centre. Rueil Malmaison is also worth a visit; Access is very easy
Standard Novotel hotel close to offices. Rooms are clean a well equipped, bit small toilet and bathroom is not problem. Wifi is free and working, breakfast menu is quite narrowed. Unfortunatelly no fitness room and not that pleasant location for going running out. But staff and services provided are ok.
At more the Euro 200.00 per night the most basic of all small cafe where the breakfast is as basic as you could imagine, the cafe has a bar that doubles up as reception entrance, when you arrive to check in, you think you have just walked into a cafe with glass door fridges full of sandwiches and drinks, one person checking you in, serving drinks, and looking after all what is happening in the cafe. The name Suites implies luxury, far from it. All in all the hotel was very clean room clean functional but far from luxury, in my view not worth the Euro 200.00 plus per night.
