Very conveniently situated hotel with excellent parking facilities. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and efficient and the room was very comfortable. Would definitely come back next time I am in Paris.
Situated outside the peripherique, in the Montrouge area (a distinct neighbourhood to the south of Paris). The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Mairie de Montrouge metro stop, which is the number 4, and links directly to Gare Montparnasse, Gare du Nord, and Gare de l'est, as well as connecting to the RER B which connects to the main airports. I found it very comfortable, and well equipped, and perfect for a short business trip. I liked the small but good quality breakfast, and I really liked the Montrouge shopping district. It was only 30 mins into the St Germain area, and very close to the business I was visiting during my trip. Definitely a good option for this area, if you want a well-run, business hotel.
I stayed in this hotel with my wife during my Europe trip in July, 2017. The size of the room was small and there is no enough space to move about. In addition the bath room as well as the toilet were also very small. Both of us felt vert cramped. The hotel management had not provided tea and coffee facility in the room. Fortunately, our tour leader gave us a kettle and few pockets of instant coffee and tea mix. So we managed. Moreover the complimentary breakfast offered by the hotel is not up to the mark. They kept few dishes and they do not serve the purpose of satisfying the hunger.
I've stayed in 2 mercure hotels in Swiss which were very good. While, when I entered the room in this hotel on the 10th Oct 2017, the condition was unbelievably poor. The hotel took off all hot water boiler of the room stayed with Chinese people. If you want a hot water , you have to go to the lobby. The breakfast was disgusting! Dust in hot water bowl. The telephone set is broken, no inbound/outbound phone workable. The condition of the hotel is very old fashion and out of maintenance. Highly suggest not to stay with this hotel.
This is a basic business hotel. The rooms are adequate. Check-in was efficient and friendly. Breakfast was included in my room rate and the option of having it served in your room is convenient (without any extra charge). The breakfast (coffee, juice, yogurt, cheese, bread, croissant) was good. Where this hotel did not meet my requirements is with regard to toiletries. It may seem like a small thing but, as a frequent business traveller, I try to minimize the liquids I take so I don't need to check a bag. I expect to get shampoo, shower gel, conditioner and body lotion in a hotel room so I don't use up valuable space in my liquids bag for these. I was surprised and disappointed to find my room at the Mercure had no conditioner or body lotion. There is a dispenser in the shower providing body/hair shampoo. This may not be an issue for some people but for me it's a basic requirement for a business hotel and something most business travellers expect.
Lacking in charm, this business hotel is ideal for a quick overnight stay. The rooms are standard but without any personality. No toiletries and shower gel via a dispenser. Breakfast is adequate, though no gym or comfortable working area outside of the room. For those who need activity you can do a 10-12k run to the jardin de Luxembourg. Cross the footbridge over the dual carriageway way to the cite university and into parc Montsouris, then head up to les catacombs at denfert rochereau. From here come up towards port royal and then onto the jardin de Luxembourg. Enjoy
Stayed here as a group of 4. The hotel itself is fine - looks to have been recently renovated. Work is going on in Car Park (which is 2 floors below hotel) and there is currently no lift access. Access was via muddy wooden planks. Dinner Menu consisted of 3 Starters and 2 (yes 2) Mains. We had to find a restaurant in area where there are limited choices. View for our 4th floor room was literally a building site and noise from the site began at 0730 and was incessant from then I really like Mercury hotels but this one needs to be avoided until the issues mentioned above are remedied
Hotel room and amenities are average, location is 10 minutes away from Porte d'Orleans subway station. Rooms are very small . With the child and the third bed in the room there was hardly any space to walk inside. Hotel reception staff was courteous. We had stayed here as a part of group tour so they had arranged a separate room for our breakfast ; Very disappointed with their breakfast spread for vegetarians. For Non-vegetarians there was hot breakfast with 3 items served daily but for the vegetarians there was just basic cereal and bread items ; after requesting a lot they provided with apples so a thumbs down from my end.
This hotel has all the basic necessities required of a hotel. The hotel is clean, just that the red lamp in the room is a little weird. Food in the hotel is great, staffs in the hotel were friendly, will definitely come back next time.
This was our first stay in France and we were here for a conference. This hotel was convenient to the metro and our conference sight. The staff was very attentive to our needs. My only complaint was that on a very rainy night there were no restaurants open within a short distance.
