I stayed here on a business trip and although its nothing fancy, I found it just fine. Although the rooms could clearly use a bit of refreshing, both my room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Not much street noise with the window shut and you get a kettle which is a nice plus in France. Staff friendly and welcoming, and there is free wifi. Location is good for my purposes and there are many shops, bars and restaurants around. Very handy for the metro too. When I was there is was relatively cool and I didn't feel I needed aircon, which was just as well as there is none. I suspect that in a heatwave it would be hot. (There was a fan in my wardrobe which makes me suspect that it can get hot.)

dirty bathroom with towels that used to be white long time ago, now are just grey. worn out walls, carpets, furniture. unpleasant. the promise of great wifi is a lie - you can hardly read your emails. no air-con in the room.

First the positives. Well situated close to Marcel Sembat metro station, plenty of local bars and restos. Bed comfy, tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast OK, croissants, ham, cheese etc, so better than some but a surprise €10,90 supplement. Reasonable quality Wifi. The negatives. A bit run down, scuffed paintwork, wobbly furniture, small shower with curtain (a pet hate) resulting, inevitably, in water all over the floor of the ensuite. Finally for £120 a night I would expect more than 5 or 6 channels on the TV, and for the only channel that I might have the slightest interest in watching (Canal + for the footie) not to be scrambled. Miffed doesn't cover it, and you would expect a chain hotel like Campanile to at least give you that when there's no bar and the only chair in the room is a rickety wood and straw job from about 1972. I'll survive but for Campanile to profiteer on the back of mediocre services just cos there isn't much competition around doesn't exactly make me want to rush back, even tho' I might have to !

Campanile is a hotel chain and this is my second time to stay with them in Paris. the booking was smooth and the service at reception was friendly and helpful. i picked the location because it is within walking distance to my office. however this location is only 200m from M9 subway station. it will take 50 mins by subway from Paris Nord station. the room and towels are clean and the room is of decent size for the price being inside Paris. i would recommend this chain and this location.

Great location and price but the hotel needs an update. Tiny bathroom was not very clean with basic towels. It was 36degrees outside and the broken radiator was fully on.... My partner spent some time refitting the broken thermostat so we could turn it off! Clean sheets but everything else like the lamps / carpets were all grubby.

We took a room for 2 adults and a child. What they did was take, what I considered a small 2person room, pushed the double bed up against the far wall and added a single bed. So you have one (skinny) person-width from the end of the beds to the wall, and one (..) person-width from the bed to the side walls, and one (...) person-width between the two beds. And three people in this space... To dress we had to take turns standing in the small hallway in front of the door to the room. The bathroom was equaly small and the shower had fingernail sized modly spots on the wall. The ONE electrical plug available was near the entrance and beside the child's bed (a bad location even without the extra bed), and so we had to use the eye level plug behind wall-mounted TV in order to charge the phones... Apart from that.. The breakfast was OK, I always hate paying hotel prices for coffee, juice and croissant style breakfasts and at 10euros, this place was no different. The bed/pillows/blankets were fine and the wifi was free with no connection issues and it is in a very very good location with lots of stores and metro stop within 100 meters. So you get what you pay for? Perhaps, but if I come back to this area again, I will take my chances to see what else is available in the same price range...

Just back from a 3 day stay in this hotel. Overall was a good stay. Had 3 adults in 1 room limited space but it was do - able beds were comfy and bedding changed daily. Heat was a problem though we slept with windows open. Two ladies on reception were delightful and really good ambassadors for this hotel. The fly in the ointment was a guy who was on reception on day of departure. His manner on approaching the desk was thunderous. As we were checking out very early we were down to a remainder of Euros he informed us that it was policy to charge an extra 10 euros as a council tax charge to the local council ?? this seemed a made up charge and we disputed it ! he got irate and we left not paying the charge he chased us down the street and we had no choice to pay ! This left us short of funds for our journey home.. I would love to know if this charge is applicable as no offer of a receipt was given. !! He spoilt our last few minutes of a good stay and most definatley should not be in the customer service industry. The stay had cost almost 200 euros and no other charges should have been added or at the very least mentioned on booking ....

Stayed here for two nights with my teenage daughter and her friend Hotel is on the outskirts of Paris, so taking a Metro into the center of Paris takes around 20 minutes but there is a Metro station close to the hotel. There is also some good shops in the vicinity of the hotel. Hotel is very basic but adequate and OK for the price. We chose this one because you can book a room for three people. The room is small but not too bad. Bathroom OK but rather tired. The daytime receptionist was very helpful but the one in the evening did not seem to know the area at all. We did not have the breakfast as it did not look very interesting at all so we went to a nearby cafe for coffee and croissants. If you are not looking for luxury but just need a base (we were there because it it close to the Domaine St Cloud Parc) this hotel is OK.

Compact hotel close to Metro and buses for travel. good breakfast. Staying for 5 nights our only complaint was we found only having five clothes hangers was not enough - we could have used another two.

The room is not cleaned regularly. Wi-fi is too slow. Rooms are small. They do not change the towels though you put it on the floor. Breakfast cost 9,90€ but too bad. Just I had it as my company pays it The woman WHO is responsible for the breakfast was so rude. They promised me to change my room with a bigger one for my second accomadation but they gave me a smaller room. No air conditioner in the room. The smell of room was not good.
