We booked a hotel at Korsika, but when we arrived at the site we discovered that it was a camping site which had neither cleaning nor towels. Since we have a baby, who just started to crawl, we asked the reception manager the first day if they could arrange to clean our floor, since the floor was covered with dirt already on our arrival. They gave us a smal kitchen towel and asked us to clean the floor ourselfs. They did not clean our room at all during our stay. According to hotels.com the cleaning was included in the price of the hotel and also bathroom articles, but there was neither towels or soap (no other bathroom articles either) so we asked the reception for towels so we could take a shower, but this was not possible to arrange. I have never before met a reception så unvilling to help a guest. On top of this, here are some other things we discovered during our stay: -There was mold in the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom and it smelled like water damage in the bedrooms -Airplanes flew so close it felt like we lived on a runway -The beach and the sand was filthy -A forest fire on 1200 hectare was in the closest town and it rained ash for two days. The "hotel gave us no information. -No restaurant worth mentioning are in the area, the "hotel" buffé was a joke since it was over when we arrived -The dishwasher was broken -The only towels possible to buy in the area was bathtowels and very hard to wipe yourself dry with The only thing that was good with the "hotel" was the pool, but as said, I can not recomend this "hotel" to anyone!

Our 2 weeks stay started very well: beautiful sea the first days... but after this, we had continuously jellyfish on the beach, along with quite a bit of garbage some days. On the poor side we should add that the Club is located rather near the Bastia airport and planes fly over very often (even during the night) A part from this, the food is good and the staff is generally friendly

Hi everyone, we stayed over (3 adults) in The Belambra Club in Borgo Corsica in September 2013 and overall had a very very nice stay there! - Check-in and reception: very very nice, helpful personnel at de reception desk. They really take their time to answer all your questions, help find solutions for you, excellent service! - Parking: no cars alowed on the property. Everybody was asked to leave the car at the parking in front. Parking is closed by a gate, you can leave and enter the parking as you please with the badge you recieve the first day. To transport luggage and groceries, you have chariots at your disposal, very easy. It's de 7th year we go on vacation on campings/bungalow parks and it's the first time there is so little noice on the property. Very nice! - Pool: also the first time that the pool was 'warm' enough to swim in. Most of the time you have a swimming pool where you can hardly swim in because really really too cold (and I like swimming). For september it was nice, but the pool was not very big, so I ask myself wether there is enough space for everyone in months of July, August. For September, it was ok.( For people with children: also a little baby pool). The bar next to the pool was closed (it is not abnormal that some facilities close in the month of Sept though) - The property is next to the beach, of course very nice as well. - Animation: there was still animation in the month of Sept, which is rather rare but very nice for people who love to participate (jeux de boules, volley, pilates, evening activities untill 11 pm, ...). - Nice bar with the GREATEST mojito's next to the reception, nice music, loungy atmosphere. The day of our arrival all the 'new' people were invited at 7 pm for a welcome drink and an explanation of all the information necessary for your stay. Personnel of all divisions (bar, resto, animation,...) and owner were present, very warm welcome. At this moment on our first evening, however, we discovered the presence of very agressive mosquitos. We were under attack! Good lesson for the rest of our stay: immediately bought loads of anti-mosquito stuff in the supermarket. - The property is well maintained, nice flowers, trees. What we didn't like that much was the sand before our houses: sand everywhere, so we had to clean a bit more in our house. There was a very good vacuum cleaner in our house though, so it was easy to clean quickly. - Barbecue: no opportunity to bbq next to your house, but at a number of places on the property there were bbq's available for everyone. Little disadvantage is that it's a little less cosy (but we brought some wine to our cook from time to time, amazing how he amused himself anyway :-)) ) - Opportunity on the property to play tennis, pingpong, jeux de boules. Also washing machine and dryer available. We were used to have a bigger washing machine at our disposal on other properties. - Environment: close to Bastia (where the ferry arrive), lots of supermarkets, pharmacies and gaz stations (we always had to laugh about it: every city or village has at least 1 supermarket, pharmacy and gaz station in de center, often even more :-)). Just good to know when you arrive the first day: our GPS couldn't find the adress so we searched in Borgo for the Belambra Club, but there is a Borgo village on the mountain and Borgo close to the sea on a peninsula. Important is to follow the announcements for 'lido de la marana' (on the peninsula). We enjoyed our stay very much. We miss Corsica allready! Groetjes, Kim Belgium

After taking in the delights of Chamonix & Lake Garda and the not-so delightful Milan, we sailed into Corsica at 2pm. We took the short drive to VVF and polled into the car park. I went to reception to find nobody there - just an A4 bit of paper saying something about no-one here til 5.30pm. I decided to have a look around the park and it was deserted, there was rubbish everywhere, the shalets were ppaling, the pizzeria looked like it had been shut for weeks and it was only the 2nd week of Sept. It was so bad that we didnt even check in - instead we drove down to Porto Vecchio and splashed out on a £100 a night hotel.
