The staff didn't change bed spreads nor clean the rooms daily. All they did was put a trash bag in the trash can.
Caravan of 17 people. Needed a rest before heading home. Pool and hot tub were open.
The room never got cool and it was over 90 degrees outside. The day before I was to leave my room didn't get cleaned. I spoke to management about no room service and was told that the maid stated I requested no service that day, which was a lie. I ended up emptying the trash and making the bed, I also had to go to the lobby for clean towels. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK A ROOM AT THE BAYMONT INN IN HATTISBURG MS!!!

I had a great stay. My room was comfortable. It had a microwave and fridge. They had a full free hot breakfast with bacon, eggs, and all the fixings. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.
My wife and I had a long drive and chose this hotel based on the price and location. We had never stayed at this chain before and were pleasantly surprised. We would choose them again the next time we take a road trip.
Spent one night here while on a road trip. The staff were courteous and helpful and the room was clean. The hotel is just off I59 and near numerous chain restaurants. The included breakfast offered biscuits and gravy and make-your-our waffles as well as cereals and fruit. it was a good value and we'd stay there again.
Hotel stay was very comfortable. Location was very convenient; it was near located near every restaurant I wanted to eat at.
Staff was extremely friendly. I stayed longer than expected and they handled my extensions easily. The free wi-fi is a bit awkward as it requires constant logins, but I was able to get work done. The rooms was clean, comfortable and included a microwave and fridge. The location is a bit awkward, behind other hotels and businesses, but it's walking distance to some restaurants. Overall a nice experience.
Good location, but there was no maid service the entire time we were there (2 nights). I had to go ask for fresh towels on the 2nd day. Also, the rooms were a bit small. The staff were fairly responsive and the breakfast was decent.
I only stayed a couple of days, but I enjoyed my spacious comfy room. I did not see the staff much except to check in and out and I had no issues with them. I was in town for a funeral so it was nice to have a quiet place to escape to and a nice comfy cool room to sleep in. My only complaint is the coffee in the room was very weak and lacked flavor. Overall my stay was a success.
I stayed at this hotel so that I could attend several days of training at a local hospital. It served my purposes. It was average and what I expected, nothing more, nothing less.
Having stayed at a number of hotels, basically most of them are the same from an aesthetic point of view. What sets them apart is their people. Everyone is very courteous and accommodating, and that makes all the difference when you're jet lagged or tired from travel. Thank you to everyone who made my trip a pleasant one.
The room was decent. However, there was a credit card scam taking place in the area. A caller would call rooms and attempt to get your credit card number posing as management. I understand that the actual management can do little to stop this but they were aware that this was going on and did nothing to alert guests until I called the manger myself. After explaining to me there was nothing he could do I told him if he would simply alert guests at check-in it would stop this scam from being successful. He then agreed and put a note under the door of each room. I don't know if they are alerting people still or not. Failing to alert people to this is very poor customer service.
I stayed at the baymont before my husbands deployment and overall it was okay. The best part was the location. The worst part was the elevator!!!! You wait literally 10 minutes every time!! Lucky there's only 4 floors! The rooms overall were nice. The ceiling though was pretty bad.. Looked like it had had previous water damage.. The bed was veryyy comfortable though! Staff was nice. Had trouble with my room keys a few times and they were nice about it. Only annoying thing would have to be the maids! Check out is 12, but expect them knocking on your door at 9 asking you how long you'll be!! Multiple times!! But other than that knock down the price a little bit and it'd be worth it..
