Hotel was very dated, musty smells in lobby and room. Pool closed was in the 100's would have Loved to have used the Pool.

The hotel is very near the airport car rentals-I could have dropped the car off and walked. On the downside there were some very shady characters standing around the parking lot and outside the room. The room itself was not too bad for a one night stay-but I would not go there with kids.

The railings needed painting. Had to walk to the second floor outside. Was given a key to a room that was occupied. It was 11:00 pm and the light inside the door did not work.

The room for the most part was clean except for old blood on pillow. The cleaning staff is rude. They knock on the door after I told them at check that I would not need cleaning. I was only staying three days. I also had trouble at check in the reservations for orbitz didn't go through to the hotel. The front clerk gave me incorrect information and said that I was not charged when I made an additional one day reservation because it wasn't in the hotel system. I was charged by the hotel for an additional day. Lucky I did not listen to him and called orbitz customer service. The customer service person was very nice and told me that there was two duplicate reservations when I tried to reenter reservation. Orbitz canceled the duplicate reservations right away and and said the the duplicate about for 100+ dollars was going to be refunded in 7 days to my credit card. If I listened to the front desk clerk I would have not called Orbitz and would have been out of luck with the refund. He was the same clerk that told me that at check out that I was supposed to be out at 11a.m. when I was approved by the night clerk the previous night for a 12.00 check out. He was very rude and uninformed.

Slightly more than a drip from shower.. Good thing that water is hard and easily got soap off.

The rooms provided were nasty and not clean. When i asked for a new room I was told to expect conditions like this.

They stay was worth the price. There was was minor issue with the first room given, but i was provided a better room with no hassle.

The Room was very clean. However, There was Hotel renovations going on while I was there. The hotel staff did not inform me that the construction would be taking place near my room when I checked in. The during the morning on my last day there was very load banging on my hotel wall from the construction workers. I called the front desk to complain they were very rude and did not apologize.

.So dirty you can't even imagine. Sheets, pillows, room was smoky.

We purchased two nights in a non-smoking room. We entered the room, which smelled like smoke, and noticed a cigarette butt right outside the door. The staff moved us to a different room at our request. The second room had an oppressive smell (like it had just been ozoned) and there was blood visible on the side of the mattress. We did not spend the night. The staff worked diligently to make sure we were refunded through Orbitz before we left the hotel.

They did not have the particular room even though Orbitz did the booking! They had another kind of room, thank goodness. I am disappointed that Orbitz allows booking of non-existent rooms.

Upon arriving the check in staff was very nice but we had to change rooms twice. The first rooms door wouldn’t open and was clearly broken. It looked as though someone had broken in to it recently. The second rooms toilet was covered in urine and other bodily fluids. The third room was cleaner but it was out of toilet paper and it was clear no one had taken the time to clean around the base of the shower or dust off the dead bugs from window ledges inside. Over all the women who helped us was very nice but the cleanliness of the rooms was terrible. Also the pool was closed and empty making it seem as though there was little intention of it opening any time soon which was disappointing because we chose the hotel because of the pool.

Two bed bugs in the first room they put me in-and the room smelled of urine. Second room didn't have bugs, but the floor was quite dirty. I try to stay at Motel 6 often, it's always a crap shoot-either perfectly clean or really awful.

When I come to Hartford ct I always stay here at motel 6 thank you for your good service

Super close to airport, attentive staff and great value for your money.

Clean and did the trick for an early mornight flight
